Good Morning.

I only have a few minutes here before I have to get ready for work. I rested y'day w/o faultering. Kind of amazing for me! LOL So today I am raring to go. I'll be hitting the tm or the elliptical this afternoon at the gym. I have to be there for a meeting anyway so I might as well.

Ang: How'd Snoopy fair on her shots y'day? Good job on your run y'day! I won't have any such luck that STS will be at my door when I am done with my current rotation. That would mean it would have to be here by the end of the month. I doubt that will happen. I'll just have to make a choice! Hope you were able to finish your book last night.

Morning Ladies ..

I am in early ... making some time up .. have hair appnt at lunch and she ALWAYS runs over!! LOL man I forgot what it was like for the office to be quiet .. WOW .. big difference!!

The girls celebration was excellent .. we had a big crowd ... lots of CABS .. and food .. although I was good on the food .. just a few pickles and stuck w/the salad .. but had more CABS than I expected to .. woops .. OH WELL .. that means extra work today!!

Wendy .. an actual REST day for you ... wow .. I am impressed!! I know you are raring to go now!!

Ang .. WTG on the run ... WOW .. good time and distance .. bet you were spent when you got thru the door .. would imagine the calorie burn was about 850 or more!! Hope Snoopy wasn't too wimpy on the shots .. I remember my beagles being that way too ... oh such hams!! LOL .. hhhhmmmm wonder HOW Snoopy got on your bed???? imagine she is too little to jump up there herself .. HHMMMMMMM??????

OK .. better act busy .. people are starting to come in .. LOL!!! Ready for a hair cut today .. my hair is WAY too long .. it is getting in my face ... have not decided what torture I am going to inflict tonight ???? .... I am leaning for super cardio step .. OR heavy weighted shaping ... I need both ... ???? will see what today brings .. gonna play it by ear!!

Morning girls

Ahhhh - slept in this morning. I woke up a few times thru the night with the sore knee.x( I thought it would be stiff as heck this morning but it actually feels pretty good. So in deciding on my w/o today I kept that in mind and decided to do S&H bis and tri's. That'll sufficiently fry the UB without too much stress on the knee since most of that one is done sitting on the bench.

Wendy - Snoop's shots are today. I'm aiming to get that w/o in before her 3:15 appt this afternoon.
I did get that book done last night. I was up until 1am to do it, but I was able to sleep in so no biggie. I really should have been doing other things, but...well....:7 So many chores, so little time.
Cool that you don't have to make an extra trip to the gym for your w/o. So no work today?
Are you still doing Alwyns program or did you nix that for now?
Have you tried the 4DS series as a program? I did that once and loved it! Although, I know you don't really like step all that well, so maybe sub in the tm or ext in place of that?

Laura - *lol* - uh..ya....Cam definitely put the pup on the bed. I was yelling at him over the phone when he called and told me about it. Dang kids! LOL!
Beagles are wimpy. What's up with that??? Buster doesn't look wimpy at all but he does look like a big baby.;-) Awwwwwww - looks like he loves the new pool room. I LOVE it!! You have the decorative touch. I have no such talent - unfortunately. I wish I did. You guys did a great job and I'll bet you'll use it all the time.
I'm gonna join you in the CABs this weekend. I'm taking Snoop over to BF's or she's coming over here on Friday or Saturday.....we're wayyyyyy overdue for girls night. Summer's been way too busy and we haven't been able to get together.
Hope the quiet office stays that way for a while. How long's PIA off for??
Oh, Cam walked by when I was looking at your pics, and he said "holy cow!" when we peeked at the fish. *lol* He wanted to know where those were caught. I told him that those were NOT fish caught in the river. LOL! He didn't think he would be strong enought to reel them in. :7

Thanks for the compliments Angie ... the big picture on the floor . we are going to hang it above where it is .. we held off b/c we were not sure if we were brining back the china cabinet .. I like nice clean lines as far as decor goes ... no clutter .. the stuff on the floor are decorative stuff we are going to hang outside .. kinda make it like our own little tropical gettaway at home!! LOL

LOL about CAM .. tell him we were about 36 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico .. about 225 Ft. of water .. although big groupers can be caught in shore too ... and yeah it is TOUGH getting them up off the floor .. I can get them up (thanks to my weight w/os) . . although if one ever gets in a hole or rock .. I have to let DH get it up!! the long fish on the dock are King Mackeral (they run out like crazy .. really fun to catch).. and the shorter fish are red snapper, white snapper, and bee liners .. I am sure CAM would have a ball on the deep blue sea!!

the office's quietness did not last long .. 10 minutes after we opened up and it was the usual insanity .. LOL!! PIA has been off all week .. wont have to see her till MONDAY .. WOOO HOO .. it has been ssssssooooooooooo nice!!

Hope the little Snoopster does the shots w/o too much trauma!! I remember my beagles .. if they got hurt they would holler and holler like you beat the crap out of them .. pittiful!! such babies!! My big dog is not scared of anything .. LOL .. the only thing he wimps out on is he is scared to death of licking a plate or dish and it make a clinking sound he takes off w/his tail tucked .. LOL! Silly thing .. and yes he is a HUGE baby (literally):7

Hey cabbers

I'm sittin here sippin a cup o' joe. I really should get my rear up and clean up the kitchen - again! I just got home from running errands and the vet. Snoop cried and whinned when they weighed her. She couldn't see us so maybe that was why. OMG - are we spoiling this dog or what?? She's a whopping 5.4 pounds. When she got her shots - not even a wimper, but we were distracting her with treats. *lol* What a funny mutt. It's so funny how everybody oooohh's and ahhhhh's over her and says you have such a cute puppy. LOL! Ya - I didn't have much to do with it, but we are blessed indeed.

Laura - I'm sure your tropical getaway will gets lots of use. It looks like it would be the perfect place for a cold beverage and a book to snuggle up in the couch and have some nice quiet time.
DH went on a sea fishing expedition when he went to florida a couple of years ago to visit my parents. He LOVED it! They even caught a couple of smaller sharks. He said they took the tail and put it in their mouths and then wore them on their heads. :7 I guess the sharks bite down on their tails and don't let go. But, you probably knew that. He said the fish in the ocean sure look funny compared to the ones we have up north. *lol*
Ahhhh - one more day of respite without PIA.
Funny about your big babies. I'm sure you feel more secure with them around. So are they more "your" dogs or DH's? Kirby was definitely more "DH's" dog but Snoop is looking more and more like "my" dog. I'm sure DH will soon sway her with treats though. He also will be her primary food person when she gets on his schedule, so things could still change in his direction.

Oh, I did do S&H T&B before I left. Ouchie! Those slow reps are pure torture!! The knee's feelin' just fine now too. I think I just went a bit farther than I should have yesterday. I'm not much for building up to things, but my body lets me know I'm not 21 anymore. *lol*
I need to get a couple more pics of Snoop and then I'm hoping to get them up. She's sleeping now, so maybe a bit later.

Off to marinate some fish and make some broccoli soup.:9

Hey Chickie-Doodles!

I did Itread 6/60 minutes outdoor work out on the TM this afternoon. It's set up like CC using perceived exertion. It was a good work out. The 2nd half was definately harder. The first half by itself is pretty lame so I am making a mental note to never plan on doing part 1 by itself. LOL

Ang: So what book was it that you finished reading last night? I have 2 more fitness books on the way to me! Hey, they were good deals. I can't pass up a good deal! I worked this morning but had to go back to the gym in the afternoon for the silly meeting so I stayed on afterwards to get my work out in. I traded in Alwyn for the bells for now. I plan on using them for a month and then changing it up again. Not sure to what though. I haven't used 4DS in a full on rotation yet. I used it for a couple of weeks when it first came out. I really liked the weight work, kickbox and bootcamp so perhaps I can use them to create a rotation for August. I like step but I am not good with really fancy/complicated/dancey choreo. The step in 4DS just goes beyond what I enjoy. I like the rest of Cathe's step though...with the exception of RS ofcourse. Glad Snoopy got through his shots okay. I'm sure he's adorable. My DH's cousin got a Yorkie a month or 2 ago. Freakin' adorable little guy named Jake! He came to them at a whopping 3 pounds and is suspected to weigh in at no more then 5 once fully grown. He's absolutely precious and he absolutely ADORES my son!:+

Laura: The pool room looks fantastic! I noticed the beer by your DH in one pic. Can we say PAR-TAY room!? }( So how was class tonight? What did you decide to toruture your students with? LOL

Hey all

Just wanted to let you know that I finally got those pics downloaded. My camera is a piece of crap (only a 3 MP)....really need a new one, but you all know how I am with digital purchases. x(

Wendy - I think the book was "the Hunted". It wasn't all that great to be honest, but since I was already almost done with it, I thought I might as well just finish it off. It was kind of confusing. Definitely wayyyyy out there. I'm a sci-fi buff, but at times I was even thinking WTH? *lol*
Ohhhh, do tell.....what new books do you have coming your way?
It took me a while to pick up the moves in 4DS step. I just kept repeating it until I finally GOT it. It's frustrating as hell at first, but after it "clicks" it's really a lot of fun.
Snoopy's actually a girl, which is one of the reasons Cody and DH aren't crazy about the name. But, since they couldn't come up with anything better....
My sis has a yorkie. He's an ox for a yorkie though - he's 14 pounds. *lol* He made Snoop look like a little rat next to him. Yorkies are sooooo very cute.
So do you think you'll keep your itread subscription? You certainly have got your money's worth with that haven't you?

I still have a mess to clean up. I think I'll just give up on it until tomorrow.....or later? *lol* Procrastination will be the death of me I swear!:7 Maybe if I just leave it someone else will clean it up. LOLOLOLOLOLOL! Ya right!
