Hi girls! http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee296/runninteach/th_sunshine.gif

How are we this Sunday morning?

Wendy :: feeling any better?

Di :: glad Amanda is feeling good except for some soreness. What a scare…Good luck to Jerod today in the all-star game!! Glad the mouse is history! They sure had their fun w/ you, didn't they? :)...Sounds like you were on fire with your cleaning yesterday.

Angie :: nope, Baron doesn’t do it for me, either. Agree he’s kinda of effeminate. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Today should be a beautiful morning for a run. I’ll head out soon. My sister’s stopping by later this morning…she’s in the area, doing b’fast with one of her girlfriends, and will help me organize the cheetah holiday gift exchange that we’re doing over there on that thread. (She’ll draw the names and email folks, so it’ll be a surprise for me, too.)

Hi to Laura and Nancy in case you happen to come by today.

Today will be 4DS SCC and a run. Later, a bit of schoolwork, some *MANDATORY* reading for Nat'l Boards (don't let me get away with not doing this, please!) cleaning, and figuring out what I'll need for this cruise. It shouldn't be too tough as it's only 3 nights.

Good Morning Cabbers. :)

I definately have another bug of some sort. UGH! I downed airborne and OJ this morning. I felt like crud before I got out of bed this morning but feel a bit better since getting up and moving around. I will probably keep my running plans with my friend for this morning but may opt to shorten the planned run from 6-8 miles to 3-4 instead. I have a little more time before I have to decide for sure though...

I am watching the NYC marathon coverage. I would love to stay home and continue watching it actually but I won't blow off my friend for that. I'd really just like to see the start. The amazing thing is that depending on how far I run today I could actually MISS the winner crossing the finish line since that usually happens around the 2 hour mark!

Cathy: Make sure you get that reading done. The trainer from hell is watching you!!!}( LOL

Workout done! I really like SC&C and am gaining greater appreciation for the core work as I seem to improve with some of the harder moves each time. Gorgeous weather out there today. The fresh air was welcome. Am finishing up a banana nut bread/pb protein shake and now I'm off to squeeze in a tanning session before my sis gets here.

Wendy :: what a trooper putting in 3-4 miles even when you're not feelin' up-to-snuff. Rock on!...And yes ma'am. *salutes* :) I will git 'er dun!!

Morning girls

Today was supposed to be rest day but after looking at Codys basketball schedule, I'm thinking I'd better workout today. He has 3 away games this week. Two of them are pretty far away so I probably won't be going to those, but he has an away game tomorrow night in a town only 35 miles away....so I'm planning on going to that one. So, by the time I get back from work, I'll need to get in the car and get going, which leaves my workout time in the dust. So, I think I'll switch it up and do whichever Tony arm workout I have planned for tomorrow today and do my rest day tomorrow. I'm on my last month of my Cathe/Tony mish mosh and am happy with the results. I might join you all on your Dec 1 Tony rotation, but if I do, I will be subbing a lot!!

Cathy - I'm jealous of your cruise coming up. I'm sitting here watching Samantha Brown on a cruise ship on the travel channel. It looks like so much fun. The boys have been buggin us to go on a family cruise. I think it would be so much fun! I'll definitley have to look into it at some point.
You're already done with your workout? Wow! I just can't seem to get up and going on the weekends like that.
So where does sis live? Do you get to see each other very much?

Wendy - Don't come lookin for me girl! I kept my yucks to myself. *lol* Seriously though, I hope you kick it soon. Maybe you'll feel better once you get out there and start going. Those endorphins might be just what you need.

Diana - Aren't boys just the best??? x( :7 My brats...er...boys would've done the same thing.:D Glad the situation is over with.
So did ya already do cleanmax with the vacuum or are you going to try it out today?

OK girls...I have a list today and I have got to scratch everything off so I'd better find another cup of coffee and get to it. At least I have an extra hour to complete everything...and to be honest, the list isn't very long so and hour should be enough to get it done. I'll check with you all later on.

Afternoon Girls!

Well, I ran this morning but threw in the towel at the 30 minute mark. I could feel the difference and was quite tired by then so I decided to stop. I am no worse for the wear though and am glad I went. :)

So I have had DOMS in my back all day long and I have no idea why! I did Cardio X y'day and yoga on friday. Why my back is sore today is beyond me. I'm honestly miffed!

Cathy: Hope you enjoyed your tanning session and your time with your sister.

Angie: So will you share the results you got from the Tony/Cathe rotation you are finishing up? It's very inspiring!:)

It's Sunday already....I was up early today (thanks to the time change) and did Cardio Fusion mix n match premix. I may try to get some upper body weights in later today.

I did use my new vacuum last night in the front living room, stairs and upstairs. Jerod is going to vacuum the family room, his normal chore anyway. I still have the computer desk and kitchen on tap for today, but don't really feel like doing it. We'll see how much I get done.

We just got home from Jerod's all-star game where they won something like 37-0. I thought both teams were really good, but our defense would not let up for them to get through. Jerod did really well but is still disappointed that he only gets to play defense on this team. DH is talking to him about it.

I need to go order the cake for the shower next weekend. So much to do, so little time.

Cathy-So are you following the Nov 4DS rotation? It doesn't have enough cardio for me so I'm not following it. When is the cruise?

Wendy-Hope you are feeling better. How far did you and your friend decide to run today? Did you see that Ryan Shay passed away yesterday during the olypic marathon trials. The preliminary autopsy report was inconclusive.

Angie-Actually, I made a to do list and got busy on it yesterday. The kids clean pretty good for kids, but sometimes I just need to do it myself.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Angie :: I love cruising…great way to vaca, IMO…Sis lives about an hour away in PA…I wouldn’t say we see each other often. Maybe once a month. We’re not especially close. Did you knock out that list of yours?

Wendy :: Hunh. Odd thing about the back DOMS…Good for you getting in a 30-min. run! So you were glued to the tube watching the marathon, eh?

Di :: big congrats to Jerod’s team!!…they really routed ‘em. Wow, the shower is next weekend already. Is it at your place?…No, I’m not really following the Nov. rotation…I rec’d the DVDs in mid-October during the last week of a circuit rotation, and then I just made up my own 4-week rotation using the new series…The cruise is from Thursday – Sunday.

Went for another tanning session this morning, and now I'm itchin'!

Diana: We ended up only running 2.5 slow miles today. It took us 30 mins thanks to me. LOL How does the new vaccuum work? Yes, I heard about Ryan. So sad.

Cathy: Back *still* hurts! Who knows. What I DO know though is that if it's still sore tomorrow I will NOT be starting my week of Slo Mo with back work! I am actually considering a REAL and COMPLETE rest day tmrw actually. No yoga, no nadda, no nothing. It will mess up my every other day plan of attack for slo-mo but that's no biggie. I can always do legs and upper body back to back. We'll see how I feel. Yeah, I was oddly interested in the marathon. I mean, curiousity is one thing but I was glued like a diehard fan would be to a football game or something! Wierd!

Hello

Today was a very productive day as opposed to yesterdays completely unproductive day. I pretty much knocked out my to-do list but it kept getting bigger and bigger as the day went on. I hate when that happens. The mountain of laundry is finally done....the last load is in the dryer. All those tiny chores that keep piling up during the week are taken care of so now I can sit and enjoy my evening.:)

I decided to do X C&B and ARX today since tomorrow would have been tough to get it all in. My arms feel like jello....it really took it out of me today. I hate getting back to it after recovery week. That first week is killer!}( But tomorrow is rest day and I'm sure I'll sleep like a baby tonight.

Wendy - Hopefully your back soreness is not from the bug you are coming down with.x( I haven't done CardioX in ages so I can't remember what kinds of exercises are on it.
Ummm...I was bad....I didn't do any before pics before beginning this rotation but I do track my weight every week. I'm not sure if I lost anything with this rotation or not. I do think I am leaner though. I should've taken before pics.

Diana - I can't believe your still going to football games. How many more does Jarod have left?
My kids don't clean well at all. So, I kicked them outside to help their dad with leaves today. The yard looks good....but I'm sure that won't last long.

Cathy - I've never been on a cruise. I don't even know which cruise line would be best. Have you been on very many? I'd love to hear any pointers you might have.
I went to a tanner maybe 4 times in my entire life. I needed a tan before my sister got married. I too suffered from the itchy skin afterwards. I feel for you! x(

Hope you all have a restful night before yet another work week starts.

Angie

Wendy :: that is weird...maybe you did something to it during the course of the day or slept oddly...?

Angie :: glad you accomplished so much today (despite the ever-growing list)...I have only been on one other cruise (Carnival)...it was AWESOME!...We went to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and New Orleans with days-at-sea in between. There's so much to do...really, something for everyone...the food is delish!...the service outstanding...the only downside, IMO, is that no CABS are included and costs can rack up. But it's a blast.
