I had some time tonight to post so I thought I'd give it a go since I won't be around until later tomorrow after work and workout.
Camping was OK, but I would have preferred to stay home. I'm getting burned out on it and it was just the 4 of us, which I was not in the mood for. I was super crabby on Sat. morning so I just took off and went shopping by myself so I didn't kill someone.
I didn't even like being around myself. Maybe really early PMS or something else? Not sure, but I did not like it and thought I'd better get gone. The only thing I bought was the dog some new dog dishes. Gee....shopping therapy kinda let me down.
I went for my annual physical Friday before we left and there's a small lump in my breast that I have to go and get an ultrasound for. The doc said he's not too concerned since the mamogram is negative, thinks it's just fibrous tissue, but he wants to make sure. I'm unsettled about it.....maybe that had something to do with the mood on Saturday. It's scheduled for the week after next.
I got home today and did KPC b/c I've been eating horribly lately and am just now feeling guilty over it. My weight was up 7# at my annual! I know it's NOT muscle either. It's time to get serious and get the weight back down to where it needs to be. I have noticed these last few weeks that I'm not comfy in my skinny jeans but I have just ignored it. It's a good thing camping season is almost over.....I don't think I could afford a longer one. I'm almost kicking around an X rotation again to get back on track. Ug!!
Wendy - Free preschool? How awesome is that?!? Oh happy day when you can get some time back all to yourself. It's really OK to feel happy about it.
So so sorry to hear about BF's mom. ((((hugs)))) I also agree that it can be a sense of relief for the family, albiet sad.
Laura - I haven't watched the news lately. I so hope Ike has a meaner bark than bite. These storms are getting crazy lately eh?

Glad to hear your LA friends escaped unharmed from Gustuv.....hopefully their luck continues on.
Diana - ((((((hugs))))))) to you as well. I'm so sorry you are having a hard time. I can only imagine how tough it must be. IA with Laura in thinking that we are all headed to a better place, which your dad is now at. Hopefully the cards will help to provide some comfort for you. Is there possibly anyone who can help you with that?
Gotta go and kick the boys' butts! They're late for bed. They have a full week in front of them this week, so it's time to put the hammer down on bedtime. Chat with you all tomorrow girls
