Good Morning.

I was in bed at 9 last night and up at 6. Still downing Airborne. Still no fever. No better. No worse. I am working out this morning before I start to feel cruddy. Weights for sure and possibly a run afterwards if I am up to it. I gotta do something before I go nuts! x(

Happy Saturday all

So I should be off my butt and doing something but I don't feel like it. Saturdays mornings are for the laptop and coffee. Since I'm such a procrastinator I doubt I'll have time for kenpoX, but I can always put it in tomorrow instead. Although, I don't know how long our company will stay and then we have to head downstate for a football game tomorrow afternon, so I'll play it by ear.

So did ya all hear about the DVD's being shipped next week?? Wooooohooooo!! I can't wait.....I'll bet they'll be killer.

Cathy - I can't believe you haven't been here this morning yet. You must be out running. MMMMMMM....your indulgence sounds good. I'm afraid to try it b/c I don't want to get hooked. I love the little sixlets packets which are 35 calories each....it's just enough chocolate, but sometimes I need to take a couple packets.:D I'm also hooked on string cheese. I eat about 3-4 of those a day.:9

Diana - You have not gone soft! OMG....if you've gone soft, I'm totally jello!:p I'll bet you'll be able to get some of those killer workouts in this weekend and feel like the woman of steel that you are.;-)
It's hard to play football when you really don't have an ultimate goal to work towards. I hope he has fun anyways.
Yes girl, you are the split workout queen. When Cathy mentioned the split w/o, you're the first one I thought of.

Laura - You are probably getting ready for your football party. Hope your team wins. That's one good thing about a nascar race. If your driver crashes or is doing poorly, you can always switch gears and root for someone else. But it's always fun to booooo the drivers that you don't like.

Wendy - Man, those yucks are hanging on. Your workout looks great. How long did it take you to do all of that? I might have to cut and paste that one.... Did you end up cancelling your session last week? Are the yucks going to interfere with your wedding plans this weekend? Hope you can shake it soon.;-)

I'd better go and get some laundry started but I'll BBL

Angie

Saturday is finally here! I'm heading downstairs for MIS. My body needs some heavy weight work. I feel like I'm jiggling all over. I'm so looking forward to getting the new workouts.

Wendy-you are so great at creating your own workouts. This strength will serve you well as a pt. I hope you start feeling better soon. So-are you going to give us a 4 day split rotation to follow??? I want one. I'm sure Cathe will come out with one for November but we need one to get us going with the new w/o's.

Angie-You've been so busy planning, preparing, and cleaning for this NASCAR party, no harm taking a little break this morning-you deserve it.

Cathy-I'm in agreement with Angie-you must be out running. You are doing really good following the WW program and changing up your w/o's. I'm not really coordinated, but stepping makes me feel like I am.

Laura-You'll have to let us know how your team does today. Good Luck!!!

Nancy-Hi Nancy-hope you have fun things to do this weekend.

Diana

Hi!

I made it to the gym. I am giddy! LOL This is what happens when I don't work out for 3 days straight! The first work out afterwards I am like a little kid in a candy store!:7

I did ITread 2/20 mins plus some extra to get in 2 miles total in just over 19 minutes. Great time for me especially considering I still have the chest crud goin' on.

Now it's time to down some Airborne and catch a snooze.

I'll be back later for personals.

Ciao Bellas!:)

Hi girls!

Nope, wasn't out running this morning. I stopped by the boards early, floated around on the open forum a bit, and then ran out of time to post. I had my monthly National Boards class today. Went for a 3-mile run afterward. Enjoyed a strong run in gorgeous fall weather and new running kicks. Loved it! Felt like I had a lot of spring in my step. Now I'm off to get ready for a late lunch with my long lost "BFF." What a surprise that her SO is letting her out of his sight.

Wendy :: glad you felt good enough again to get in a fierce w/out. I see you're using your new bands. I can't wait to try out my new purple one.

Angie :: have fun being hostess with the mostess! I'll be with you in spirit, for sure! Am getting hungry just thinking of your menu.

Diana :: I agree - no way you are jello! But I know the feeling. Since I am doing circuits and not real strength-building workouts lately, I sort of have this fear that creeps in once awhile that I might be getting soft-ER. *lol* Thanks! I am close to maxing out on points this weekend but am hangin' in as best I can!

OK, gotta jet. Enjoy your day!

Angie: I am very excited about the dvds starting to ship next week! I pre-ordered on the very first day I think and it only takes one day for me to get stuff from Cathe since I'm right here in NJ so I should be one of the first to get 'em! WOO HOO and neener on you!:7 :7 :7 The yucks kept me home from the wedding (it was last night). To be perfectly honest though, if it were closer and/or for someone we were closer to then I would have made the effort to go anyway cause I really didn't feel too bad to go. I kept my training appt on Thursday night. I wasn't working out so it wasn't a big deal. :) Enjoy the party!!!!!!

Diana: ITA with feeling "soft" when you haven't worked out in a while or haven't done enough weight work. I hope MIS made you feel better. :) I will probably do the 4 day split with one day of running and either a yoga day or have 2 rest days. I have never tried 2 rest days and the thought scares me so I may opt for the yoga instead. :p As far as putting weight routines together. I never really did it before until I had to for my BF. Alot of what I did is from the routine I made up for her but I added in some stuff that she doesn't do and I have 2 minute cardio spurts in there for her which I left out for myself.

Cathy: How did the class go today? Was your brain fried when you were done? I'm sure the run felt great mentally after the class. I took Joey to the park after we went to the gym. ITA that the weather was AWESOME! New running kicks?? Didn't you just get some not that long ago??? }( How nice that you are getting to go to lunch with your BFF. I hope you have fun. Perhaps this will signal things turning around with her and she'll become more available again.

Well, I took a nice lil' nap. I laid down for about 45 minutes but slept no more then 30 of it. Anything more and it would have had the reverse effect on me. I feel pretty good and will probably hit the housework when I'm done perusing the forums. DH is working a 12 hour shift today so I've got nothin' but time......

BBL!

We're back from Jerod's football game, they won but I can't remember the score. I think it was 27-7. I'm not sure if he has 1 or 2 games left, but he will most likely be drafted into the flatirons invitational.

I really should do a cardio workout too but my basement is in dire need of cleaning. Somehow the "under the stairs" storage is multiplying or simply hasn't been put away appropriately in months.

Cathy-sounds like the weather was perfect for running today. It's been a little chilly here and is supposed be in the 50's next week. I love this fall weather.

Angie-It's party time for you-hope you are enjoying the friends, food and festivities.

Wendy-I am so looking forward to the new dvds. I really need at a minimum 4 days of cardio which is why I like to split up my w/o's. You created a well rounded rotation for your friend so must have knack for it.

Laura-How's your team doing?

I'm off to do laundry and clean up the basement.

Diana

Diana,

Congrats to your DS on the win and the expected draft! That's way cool!:)

As far as cardio goes, I used to feel I had to do cardio almost every day for atleast 45 minutes to not gain weight or to lose it. After doing the X I realized this was not so-for me anyway. I have been doing 2-3 days of cardio per week ever since up until last week. Now I am trying something different. I am doing cardio about 5 days per week but more of an HIIT style where they are short but intense (mostly 20 min sessions but no more then 30). I want to see how that works for me. So far I am enjoying it. Wether or not it does me any harm or good is yet to be seen but I am happy because Cathe's new series fits in perfectly with this plan. }(
