It's early for me eh? Well, lets just say the "sleep in" plan fell thru. The mail man dropped off a package at 7:30.:eek: What mail man in their right mind would drop off packages that early?? Plus, it wasn't even for me. It's DH's motor part.}( I have a feeling it's gonna be one of those days. I guess I'll start my pile o' laundry early and hopefully get my w/o in before noon. I'd like to try press play, but I want to save it for the next PP Saturday.

Hi Ang.

Sorry your mailman woke you up. Actually we will get usps deliveries around 8am ourselves. I'm always up anyway so it doesn't bother me but if you like to (and can) sleep in I can see how it would be irritating! x( The worst part though is that the pkg wasn't even for YOU! LOL I am doing a CC today so you should do one too. I say save PP and do a different one with me!:)

Well, I'm off to the gym in just a few and following that up with a trip to the food store so I'll pop back in later to see what's goin' on!:)
 
Morning Ladies!!

So my DOMS have finally eased off .. I went home and relaxed by the pool .. no w/o .. too emotionally drained ... had a couple CABS and then rode the dogs in the woods .. it was a nice day yesterday!:)

Feeling a bit better today ... I am still not happy w/DH .. he apologized for his "attitude" .. but that does not change the fact I am still none too please w/things. I suppose the house sale is a done deal .. they are talking about closing possibly as soon as NEXT WEEK :eek: x( ;( .. do you know how much CRAP we have to move ..?? .. it is really overwhelming and sad to think about it. I plan on gathering the more valuable paintings, dishes, and odds and ends and bringing them home .. they will do nicely in the pool/run room ... then one set of pillow top mattresses want to bring home and put on the extra bedroom bed ... I would just rather have a yard sale for the rest of the furniture and stuff .. but not sure what DH has in his warped mind to do w/it???? aahhhhh .. just something I am NOT looking forward to .. not only will it be a pain in my arse .. but it will be sad!!! for me at least ;(

DH and I have not "talked" in depth about the move .. the sale .. etc .. he has been at work . . and ill .. and I have been either at work or at home .. ill .. it is hard to have a serious talk over detail on the phone when both parties are ill and distracted!!!

Today my group of friends are meeting and going to the next town over for a friend's b-day gathering .. should be a good time .. Mexican rest. .. :eek: .. diet will be blown to H### and back!! x( CABS and Mexican food .. I dread the drive home .. so won't be partaking too much .. it is over an hour away for me .. OH WELL!!

Angie .. good luck on the puppy hunt!! Oh .. the rain helped my blackberry bushes a bit .. found some bigger ones this time! :)

OK Wendy - you talked me into it. I did CC#4. It's only a 50 min. workout with the stretch included at the end, but I was drenched so I called it good. Actually, I hadn't done that one in a while and wanted to refresh my memory. It has a nice blend of hills and sprints. It was a good calorie burn, but my darned mom brought over home-made cookies yesterday.}( I can't handle the cookies yelling my name! *lol*
So, which one did you decide on?

Laura - So you got a new CC? Which one - #8?
So sorry about the house.;( I was hoping that it wasn't too late to turn things around. Maybe you'll be able to find something else that will be a bargain and work even better?? Ya just never know.
Have fun kickin back at the party tonight. I can't do CABs and drive at all. I'm such a lightweight with CABs that even one drink makes me a bit loopy sometimes. I'm sure you'll still have a good time anyways though.

Hey Ang .. I got #7 and #8 and the revised #2 .. it was a good deal .. and have been wanting to get #7 and #8 so w/the bargain .. it made up my mind to get off my butt and purchase them!! :)

Gonna do #7 Sat. and #8 Sun ... just cant imagine they are better than press play .. that is my all time favorite .. gives me goose bumps everytime I do it!!:)

DH mentioned looking at other places .. I can't even "go there" yet .. b/c to me .. we HAVE the perfect place .. ssoooooooo .. ???? Everything happens for a reason .. and the dotted line has not been signed YET .. soooooo??? gonna turn it over to the higher power and trust that we go the right direction .. ya know?

Just found out the place we are going tonight has $1 margarita's .. :eek: OH MY!!! I can handle the beer .. but I LOVE margaritas (just can't handle them like the light beer) .. LOL .. maybe just ONE!!!:) I am ready .. I need to get my mind off things and my girls always have a way of making me laugh and forget about things for a while!! :) :D

I am gonna leave a bit early today to get on the road ... so come on 4:30!!!!:7 }(
 
Hi Ladies.

I'm back. I went to the gym and did CC#5. Had never done it before. I had decided that I didn't want to do the entire thing though and wouldn't ya know it, I guess my ipod agreed with me cause it cut out at EXACTLY the time I was looking to cool down!:7 I ended the work out with the steady state run after the 2nd challenge. Since it was the end of the work out for me I actually increased my speed and ended with a quicker pace before cooling down. I was able to do MUCH better on the TM today. I got myself up to 6.5 and considering how much trouble I'd been having that's a wondeful thing. I just got new running kicks. I had wondered if my old kicks had something to do with my troubles. This was my first run in the new ones and one of the best in a while...Hmmm...perhaps I was right? Who knows. I just know I am happy that things may actually be returning to normal soon. :)

Laura: Sorry you are sad about the house sale. I know you are mad at DH but you guys seem to have such a great relationship. I am sure you will be able to talk things out and get past this soon enough. Both of you feeling under the weather certainly will not help the patience during a disagreement or fight so best to wait until you both are feeling a bit better. Enjoy your mexican food tonight and wish your friend a Happy Birthday from your cyber buddies-The Cabber Girls!:7

Ang: LOL about the cookies. I know what you mean. It hard to resist homemade goodies. Thank goodness I do not have to deal with that one often. My aunt sends stuff up from FLA but not all that often, thank goodness!:p Glad you enjoyed your CC. I did 4 the last time I did a CC and enjoyed it.

Okay, time to get DS on the potty and after that we are going outside for a bit before nap time!

Hi girls

I just got back from the library. Cody had a dentist appt. and since there has been nothing but crap on TV, I figured I'd get my entertainment in book form.:) I grabbed a Vampire/smut book. What can I say? I like sci-fi and I like smut, so I thought I'd give it a shot. *lol* Maybe it will be something like Moonlight was on NBC. Of coarse, they are cancelling that show.}( Why do they always cancel the good ones?

Wendy - Glad the TM is getting better. Maybe it was the shoes after all. I like #5 a lot. I almost did that one today instead of 4...we must be on the same w/o page today.;-)
The weather must be gettin better if you and Joey are heading to the park. And the potty training going well too?

Laura - You are right....everything happens for a reason. It just seems like everything happened so suddenly. I'm sure it's a lot to digest in such a short period of time, especially when it's not exactly welcoming news.
Did you say margaritas?:9 Frozen drinks are my fav! You and the girls have fun tonight....life's short, so celebrate when you get the chance.:)
So you plan on spending time with Sean this weekend huh? Grab your puke bucket with #7.:7 I don't want to give anything away, but challenge 2 is evil.}( Um....enjoy!?! #8 is a goodie too, but I think it is more endurance based. I walked away drenched with both of them though.

I really need to get some cleaning done but am feeling like a slug. Gotta go though....I'll BBL to see what kind of trouble Miss Diana and Cathy have been whippin' up today.
 
Hi ladies,

I did my run this morning at 6:20 and then did 4DS CST. I need to find a way to fit in weights with my 4 days of running. For now, while the runs are short I have 30-50 minutes for weights after my run (if I get out the door early enough). In a couple weeks when the runs get longer I don't know what I will do. My main focus will be on the running but I can't forgo weights completely.

We went to dinner at a BBQ place last night for DH's birthday. I had a grilled chicken salad and mashed sweet potato. They also gave us some ice cream for the whole family to share for dh's bday.

I picked up a couple new swimsuits at lunch yesterday. I tried them on this morning and I love them. Kohl's is having a sale on workout wear so that's what I went in for. I found some shirts but no shorts or capris that I really need.

The new TV is out of the box but on the floor. We need to find a place to move our monstrosocity of a TV so we can put up the new one. The basement is pretty full of Cody & Amanda's stuff and it would take a lot of work to get it down there.

Cathy-where are you girl?? Hope all is well?

Angie-I hope you find a beagle soon. My main focus is on the marathon training, but I'm not giving up Cathe or weights. Good job getting back into your workouts. I hate to be woken up in the morning. I want to wake up on my own. Unfortunately though-I would be later to work if I did that.

Laura-I'm so glad your friend looks better than you expected. She has a great support system around to help her through this time. Maybe you should save the beach house furniture especially if DH is planning on purchasing a new beach house. I hope you and DH settle things soon, neither one of you needs the stress. Have a fun girls night out tonight and enjoy a margarita.

Wendy-Cardio Coach seems to be the running w/o's of choice around here. I've only used mine on the elliptical and am huffing/puffing and sweating til the end. Did you get PT cert through AFPA or someone else. I'm seriously considering getting my PT cert and working at rec ctr.

DI .. oooooohhhhh ... I say go for the PT cert!!!:) :) You would be a good PT .. and as much as you work out you probalby know the most part of it anyway!!! Study up on the anatomy and kinesiology and you will have it!!! GO GOR IT GIRL!!!!!

I went to the rec ctr at lunch and did legs, not too heavy though. I don't want to burn out my legs too much.
squats-4 sets of 12 at 95
lunges-4 sets of 15 at 55
deadlifts-3 sets of 12 at 55
Plie squats-2 sets of 16 at 55 w/low pulses too!
Step Ups-4 sets of 15 at 15
Glute lifts with 45lb plate-4 sets of 25.

Laura-Thanks for the kind words. Where did you get your group instruction cert? Are you also a certified PT? I'm guessing it doesn't pay enough to be your full time job? I'm hoping to move onto something else as I still hate my job and am ready to do something I like. I'm the breadwinner in the family and carry all the benefits. A small cut in pay would probably be okay, but if it was significant then it won't work.

Gotta get back to work.
