Hey Girls.

Sorry I wasn't around y'day. The morning got away from me and then it was time to head up to MIL's for Palm Sunday dinner. By the time we got home last night I felt like total cr@p. I was sleep deprived and just starting TTOM so I was not fit to socialize...even only via the typed word. LOL I lazed around and then went to bed early. I feel better today, thank goodness.

I did a work out called "Mint Condition" from M&F Hers magazine yesterday and all I can say is OMG!!!! It was TOUGH!!!! I LOVED it!}( Today I plan to hit the gym for a run. :)

Ang: I can't get my hands on a Wii either so don't feel bad.

Diana: Hope DS's birthday dinner went well. Yes, we went dancing saturday night. We had a really good time.

Happy St. Patty's day .. hope you girls are wearing your green!! Anyone for some Green Beer tonight!!;)

Well my weekend ...seems like it went by in a blink of an eye!! I hate that!! And I got a case of the blues/funk .. soemthing .. seems something is off kilter .. cant put my finger on it though!! Had horrible dreams last night .. kinda freaked me out a bit!!

Horrible about the tornados in Atlanta .. YIKES .. Saturday our temps were in the low 80's .. the air was THICK and HEAVY and we had wind probably 30 - 40 mph steady .. no telling what some of the gust were .. and it was like that all day. I stayed in and even had to turn on the a/c .. did a major cleanmax b/c I was afraid we would loose power ... so the workout never happened .. then yesterday the "funk" set in .. not sure what .. but I just was lazy and NOT myself!!

Wendy .. you and I had the "funk" together it seems .. I am hoping to shake it today and get to feeling like my chipper spry self again! Happy Belated 5th Anniversary .. hope you had a great one!!

Angie .. congrats on the TV .. LOL .. about DH not noticing .. just like a man!!! Bet if you woulda had NASCAR on he would have noticed .. LOL!!! Wonder how the new STS workouts are gonna look on the big screen .. the eye candy will be digitally enhanced .. sweet!!;-) .. so you had a lazy Sunday too??? Must have been in the air huh??

Di .. Big 18 for Zack .. WOW .. that was a GOOD age!! LOL:) I am sure the B-day party was a success! Hope the sweets were not too bad .. I cleaned out some pantry this weekend and tossed a lot of "junk" food ... I got your invite .. gonna try to do that this morning!!

Cathy - hope you are feeling better .. and IA w/Angie .. once you tackle this NB and of course ACE it .. all of this hard work - blood - sweat - and tears will be worth it!! hang in there!!:)

OK .. today is 4 DS at lunch ..and tonight's class is circuit w/emphasis on lower body!!

Well, I did Itread 26/30 this morning and averaged a 9:34 pace so I am very happy with that.

I have some yoga on tap for tmrw and then on wednesday I am going to do that killer crazy mint condition work out again!! This time though, I am going to add weights to the walking lunge segments. I was a bit disappointed at how light on the legs it was. Yes, I am a glutton for punishment!}(

Off to grab lunch but I'll check in a bit later!:)
 
Hi ladies,

Oh my am I sore today. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things as far as my workouts go. Yesterday I did 4DS Back, Biceps and Shoulders. I peeled the wrapping off of upper plus & core and did the core section, then finished off with BM2 cardio & circuits. I really enjoyed the core+ w/o. I should've done Chest & triceps this morning but I stayed up way to late last night. Not to worry, I have my meltdown class tonight.

Wendy-Glad to hear you got in your workout and are feeling better now. Thanks for joining me on LinkedIn. I may be looking for a job soon and I'm starting here.

Laura-I totally forgot about St. Pattie's day today and am wearing all black. Thanks to you to Laura for joining me on Linked In. I'm not opposed to relocating but I'm not sure my family would like that.

So what work outs do you have left to try from the X+? Enjoy melt down class tonight!

I have been thinking about a fat loss rotation for you and I have a question before I actually put something together. In an average week how many hours do you spend on weight training and how many hours on cardio? Also, as far as weight training goes, are you currently focusing mainly on strength, endurance or mixing it up?

That info will help me out alot! Thanks! :)
 
Hello Ladies ..

Well SIL backed out on lunch workout AGAIN.. I was going but went outside and my dang car was almost yellow w/pollen .. so I opted for carwash/cleanMAX instead .. LOL .. aahhh much better now .. no wonder the old sinuses are giving me fits!!

Di ... so you might want to re-locate .. WOW that is a biggie!! soooo .. have you gotten pinched yet for no green?? LOL .. maybe wear a wee bit of it in your meltdown class ..don't want to get pinched while doing one of those classes ..LOL!:+

Wendy .. are you putting together a fat loss routine for Di?? Wonderful .. I think I need one too .. LOL .. but my downfall is not the workout .. but the much too consumed CABS and splurging on cheese!! LOL .. why do they make something that is so sinfully delicious that is so sinfully fattening??? No biggie .. just gotta do some tweaking on the diet .. we all know this chic is NOT going to be eating clean .. well I don't do real bad .. just not what ya'll call clean!! LOL

Tsk Tsk Laura...you know you need to clean up that diet, don't you? :p Seriously, you work out like an animal! If you cleaned up your diet your results would probably be amazing!!!:)

St. Patties Day on a Monday....what a bummer! And I didn't even wear green today, but I was the only one in the office so I didn't get pinched or goosed. ;-)
Another 4DS w/o today. I'm starting to get a bit burned out, but these workouts are sooooo fun and challenging! I also can't argue the results. I'm definitely getting more defined.

Laura - I forgot the green today.:eek: Somehow I bet you didn't.
I hate the "funk" feeling.:( I hope you are not getting another premonition.
I'm with you on the clean eating girl! LOL! I definitely eat better than I ever used to but I will never be a completely clean eater. I'm OK with that though, b/c with hard work, you can have your cake and eat it too.....just in moderation of coarse. I think you probably do better with your eating than you let on.;-)

Ang: The Mint Condition work out is in the latest edition of M&F Hers magazine. I was flipping through a few mags while I was at B&N with DS last week and this particular work out intrigued me enough to make me buy the magazine!!! There's also a few ab workouts that look good!!!}(
