Good Morning Girls. :)

Diana: Holy cow girl! You sure have some crazy endurance! THREE tough work outs in ONE day!? NICE! Sounds like a great run you had. I'm so excited that you are getting back into it. Perhaps you'll be going to Chicago with Cathy in October?? ;)

Laura: So are you talkin' to your DH this morning? :p That really is a doozy of a mistake he made y'day. I hope your home doesn't smell like smoke for days afterwards. BLECH! x(

Ang: Nice job on CC y'day. How was that pizza you made? :9 So have you decided when the garage sale is? :)

Cathy: What's up, girl? :)

So y'day I ended up doing ITread 19/30 mins sprints + 1 mile for a 4.10 mile run y'day morning.

Today's plan (after work) is this:

PUB Back, 5-10 min Jump Snap, PUB Biceps, 5-10 min Jump Snap + Abs

I guess it's a mini circuit of sorts. Just experimenting w/ways to include jump snap in my work out. I'm going to have to use it with Joey's calf killer cardio from BBC one day as well. }(

One day of reasonable eating + no alchol + exercise and I am already less bloated and feel better then I did when I got home. YAY! :)

Morning Ladies!!

DH survived the night .. it was better when I got home .. got some spray and used my Lamp Berger and it took a lot of it out .. this morning it was a little bit lingering .. sprayed some more and used my Lamp again .. hopefully every day will be a bit better. I know DH is happy!!:)

I do think my insane torture combination was a wee bit harsh!! I can barely move today .. DOMS report: everything on my body except my fingers, toes, and hair!}(

Wendy .. glad you are feeling back to your non-bloated self!! :) Good run!!!

Di .. are you able to move today after your crazy w/o schedule .. or are you hangin w/me in the DOMSville???

Angie .. how is the weather today??

Cathy ... so how does it feel to have the grading papers off your shoulders .. do you feel like a little freer woman??

OK .. no lunch w/o .. SIL can't meet me and I am hurting just a little too much to attempt it alone .. thinking today will be a short run .. home early and some yard work .. get my plants back out .. and have some hanging baskets I need to pot!! :) We have sunshine and temps around 72 today .. boooootyfullll ... :D

Have a great one .. and great sweaty workouts .. I will be hanging out in the whirlpool for this tired body!!:)

Angie :: it was just blocked a week or so ago...I suppose I shouldn’t have been on the site at all from work, but it was only a few minutes at a time, and I only read (didn't post--except maybe once!)on days when I had to chance to visit at all. Oh well. Any word from your BF re: the trip?

Wendy :: looking forward to the pics. :) I'm with ya re: the RT.

Di :: I understand your decision about WW…have not been utilizing the WW online system, either. Am wondering if I should let it go…IA with your views on the RT registration…12 pm is not practical at all…but I’ve decided I don’t need to go. If any of you register, I will gladly meet up with you while you’re in the area…So, hmm…any interest in Chicago? :7

Laura :: sorry about the smoke! What an awful night you had, poor thing! Glad it’s clearing out in there…yeah, I absolutely feel relieved!!! I’ve been working late every day, though, either b/c of meetings or to get the grades into the computer. I’m one of those suckers who takes work all the way up til the last minute. :) The last thing I have to do is add comments for each of the kid...enjoy that whirlpool!

I crashed last night--fell asleep WAY early--and therefore didn't hit the bells, so tonight it's EKC with Keith Weber (new vid!) and a 35 min. run/walk. Will have to be on the dreadmill. :p :)

H'lo again, girls! :)

Back to report my workout is done. I did several segments of Keith Weber's Extreme Kettlebell Cardio, which I discovered truly lives up to its name. That guy is a BEAST, and I could not keep up with him, but I did what I could while maintaining form and safety. I followed it with a slow run/walk on the treadie.

All righty girls, I'm off!

PS... I pre-ordered the Wii Fit yesterday! Can't wait for its release on May 21st. Check out the previews on Amazon!

Hi cabber babes

It was soooooo beautiful today. Temps in the 70's and sunny and very windy....but a nice warm wind. Ahhhhhhhh!!! After X S&A and ARX we went for a walk and then played some hoops with the boys. It's so nice to be able to get a little extra activity in there.
I ordered a new computer for the office today. I'm taking in the old one next week and I'll pick up the new one a few days later. The plan is to have the new computer with everything on it from the old one and ready to rock and roll first thing next Monday morning. *crosses fingers and hopes it's all a painless process*
I also had to thumb thru a few different proposals on our health insurance renewal.x( Oh, how I hate this process every year! It's just about as bad as tax season. I need to make a decision next week and just get it over with.

Wendy - So does that jump snap get your HR up there? Would you consider it fun?
I feel like I have neglected BBC. I've never really had a rotation with BBC....I think b/c it's so darned hard!! I really need to dig those out and work them into my rotation, but now I'll have to wait until I'm done with the X.
I never did get a date nailed down for that garage sale, but I dug out some hangers so I think I may go thru my closet tomorrow and start weeding things out. Funny how shirts seem to make their way in there, but never out. I still have clothes in there from 30 pounds ago that really need to go! I don't want a reason to go ahead and put that 30 back on.:eek: Nope - the clothes have to go!
So glad you are feeling back to your normal self.

Laura - You'd love the weather up here today. Just beautiful! We still have a few snow piles left on the north side of some buildings, but other than that it's all gone.:) I'm so ready to get the 5th wheel out.
I'll bet you'll sleep like a baby tonight with all those DOMS. Your poor class must be calling you names today.:7

Cathy - BF won't be back until late tomorrow. I'll have to check in with her and see.
I wish I was a runner. It'd be great to go to Chicago. It's 8 hours away. So, how long is that run? Do ya think I could wing it??:7
You know, I was just thinking that you needed some Wii time.:) Now I have to run to amazon and see about Wii fit. Thanks for the tip.

Diana - Hope you had the beautiful weather today too. How'd your day go?

Hi ladies,

I finally have a chance to post. I stayed up way to late watching the Avs game! We are big hockey fans here. The series is tied 2-2. I was too tired to step but did a 45 min ifit w/o on the ext. Tomorrow is PLB.

I have not been able to get to the rec ctr at lunch. I hate my new schedule. I've been going in later and later since I never can get away for lunch.

I wore a skirt and tank top to work yesterday and my arms are seriously lacking any tone or definition. I've had the absolute best upper body results with P90X. If I had time for a doubles rotation I would definitely consider it. I also get good results from cathe's GS series. I think it may be time to add in some P90X workouts into the mix.

Wendy-I'm glad you had a great trip and are feeling back to normal. I would love to run the Chicago Marathon. I'm not sure if my feet can take it. I'm trying to get back into running and may even be giving the treadmill a try. What do you think about adding P90X to a rotation-with add'l cardio?

Laura-OMG, I'm so sorry your house was full of smoke and the odor that is left behind. Hopefully it is all aired out now. It may take several days of open windows to get it all out. I never did have doms from my workouts. I have to fit in my workouts when I can. Probably a good idea to rest a bit if you are really sore.

Cathy-you are such a great teacher. When I was a student, I wanted the comments on my papers-good or bad. You can't improve if you don't know what you're missing. If possible, I will try to log in for the RT, probably in Aug. I would love to meet up with you and Wendy. I have the Chicago Marathon idea dancing around in my head. I wanna be a cheetah too!

Angie-yesterday we had temps in the 70's, today it was snowing by noon. We are supposed to get 3-5 inches, mostly in the grassy areas. I really like the BBC workouts, but the cardio is quite challenging. I usually only do 1 week of BBC in with my other workouts. Hope your PC swap works as planned. I need to clean out my closet too. It's been on the to do list for far too long!

I need to finish up laundry before heading to bed.
