Boy, keepin’ up with 3 threads has been a challenge lately.

Laura :: Glad you had fun out on the creek!...See, I always have trouble with the back of my hair—getting it as smooth as my stylist does. *lol* about the cocker spaniel ears. I doubt it, though. I’m sure you look hawt! WOO-HOO on getting carded! :7 Have fun at the party…the cake sounds DIVINE.

Hope Wendy is having a blast in sunny Florida!

Di :: definitely makes sense about the bootcamp. I’m not much into choreo myself. Think that’s why I like Tony so much. The plyo workout scares me a bit. My knees do not like too much jumping like that. Did you ever find a k’bell? I bought a second 20# on Thursday, so now I have a pair. LOVE the pics. Great shot of Zach pointing pistols at the camera. He looks happy. Did he fly solo or take a date? The twins are just adorable. How is your DS adjusting to fatherhood?

Ange :: thanks for the song…that will forever remind me of the scene in 16 Candles. :7 I rearranged my training plan, so I could take Thursday night off, but I didn’t go anywhere. Usually don’t go out on weeknights, other than to dinner occasionally. Job starts too early. Sorry about the Friday that was like a Monday. I had me one o’ those, too. (If I’da seen Ziggy, I’da drop-kicked his behind.) :7

I went in early yesterday and stayed late to continue plowing on with the grading. I now have just 85 short stories remaining, and they are getting done this weekend. Then I’m out of the hole...whew! I kinda had a rough day yesterday and was beat, so I bagged the plan to hang with friends and went for some early zzz’s instead. I also opted to miss my workout. So today will be a double up: Firepower (k’bells) + a run.

So, I asked my mom to come to Chicago with me for the marathon weekend. It'll be great to have her there for support. We booked a room as they are filling up fast. Lemme say, it sure is a steep weekend to be there!! Will book the flights later. So far, two of the cheetahs are going to meet there (one to run, one to watch) and others are considering it. So cool!

Ummmmmm, yup - woke up to about 3-4 inches of snow and it's still coming down.
Cody has a friend over so I got up earlier than usual on a Saturday. They've been laughing and giggling since he got here yesterday.:7 Of coarse, they've been spending a fair amount of time on the Wii.
Yesterday was L&B and my butt is hurting today. Later on will be KenpoX. I forgot to weigh myself yesterday and this morning before coffee as well. But, with all the DOMS I've been getting lately, I know it's working.

Diana - I have to go back and take a peek at those pics. I hope Zach had a fun time. Unfortunately I will not be having CABs tonight. All of us are going to a sportsman banquet tonight and I volunteered to be the DD since they don't really serve up the kind of CABs I like anyways. Keg beer is not my gig.x( Plus DH always knows everyone there and he's been working so darned much lately that he needs a night to shoot the sh*t and have a good time. The boys are stoked too since every kid wins a prize including the chance to win a rifle.

Laura - So you have big plans for next weekend too? You are a free spirit aren't you?? I'm sure you are one of those people who, if asked, would say there is nothing in their life they would've done differently. You certainly live life girl! You are quite an inspiration.
Have fun sweatin it out with Cathe and Sean this weekend. I had actually considered doing Sean instead of Tony today, but it's a bit early for me to start switching out workouts already. Today will only be the finish of my first week.:7 Maybe next week......

Cathy - I wondered where you disappeared off to. 3 threads? I thought you only did 2. Did you join another one?

I hear you on the "not so good Friday". I hate those days when it seems like every time you touch something it just turns to poo. I had enough so I headed home. I'm so glad I have the flexibility in my job to be able to do that. But, hopefully my Monday won't be so bad now.
Ah yes, 16 Candles......it reminds me of that too. That song works it's way into my head everytime before the classic birthday song. LOL!

It's free Starz weekend on Direct TV so I watched Click last night. That's the first flick I've seen in a very long time. It certainly gives a person something to think about. Life does go by in a flash doesn't it? And, work is not nearly as important as we all think it is in the present moment. I wish DH would have been able to stay awake long enough to actually see this movie.

OK....I've talked enough for both myself and Wendy....*lol* I'd better go get something done.

Angie :: Oh my gosh, more snow??? That stinks for you. Just when it was starting to melt!...I haven't seen Click. Is that with Adam Sandler? I went to a matinee today -- Run, Fat Boy, Run. Hilarious! I was bustin' out laughin'...Yeah, I started posting in the OAL thread over on the OD...another cheetah who posts there sort of lured me over one day. Great group of nutty-in-a-good-way women! :7

Well, I ran/walked 40 min. this morning. So yeah, the EXT all winter didn't help me keep up my endurance. Gotta do some rebuilding here. A little later this evening, I'll be doing Firepower. Wow, it's so dark out there right now...it's not helping me fight off the urge to nap. :7 Well, maybe I will, but then I've GOTTA attack the short story pile.

Hi Cathy - It looks like it's just the 2 of us today. Thankfully it doesn't look like the white stuff is going to stay long. The temps are supposed to creep up into the 60's by the end of the week.
Yes, Click is with Adam Sandler. They repeated it today and DH saw most of it. I told him there was a good lesson in it for him. He needs to not take work so seriously. He is a very hard worker but it takes it's toll on him and on the family at times. Work is his worst addiction by far, but I know it could be worse.
Whos in Run, Fat Boy, Run?? I don't think I've heard of that one.
Nutty women??? On the Cathe OF???:7 But (most) in a good way.
Sorry the EXT didn't do what you were hoping for, but you'll get there. Half the battle is in getting a goal set and you definitely have that going for you. When's the last day of school for you? Are you working over the summer?
So how did Firepower go for you? Did that nap entice you? I finally got kenpoX done. I was putting it off most of the day until I knew if I didn't get it done, I was going to be late for the banquet. The banquet was good. The food was delish!!:9 We didn't win much, except Cameron won a camera and DH won a tool set so it wasn't a total bust. I'm home suckin' on a CAB now (since I was DD earlier) and watching the race. I'm in a happy place.
Any luck attacking that pile or are you going to do that on Sunday??
