I didn't hit bi's & tri's last night, so that's on my agenda along with BC and C&B. Wanna bang it out early as I have a 10 am pedi appt.

Angie :: Nope, it's definitely not cruise excitement that's caused me to put off the reading. *lol* I have been stalling for a couple of months now on this Nat'l Board stuff, doing just the bare minimum. To tell you the truth, until this week, I have not looked forward to the cruise much at all. I think it's just that I've been busy with other stuff and have had some other distractors lately: seems like I spent the month of Sept. worrying about what was going on in my head w/ the MRI and since the beginning of October, I've been focused on this issue at work. It's not the everyday schedule that's stressing me out. It's a controversy I'm caught in. But I think I have reached my saturation point with it and just have to stop thinking about it. I will PM you.

So I guess we'll be all be doing some subbing come December. That's okay though. Makes for more interesting reading when we post about our workouts instead of the same few work outs every week. :) For the cardio portion I think I am going to stick to 2 cardios per week as "prescribed". One will be a run and the I think for the other I will alternate Plyo, Kenpo and Cardio X. Oh, and I won't lie....some Cathe's could sneak on in there too at some point!:p I also think I will definately either ADD another leg work out or do a Cathe leg work out in place of Tony's to hit 'em harder and only have to do it once per week. The X leg work out doesn't cut it for me just once per week. No matter what I do though, I *WILL* make sure the "back" portion of Legs and Back gets done.}(

Cathy: Enjoy your day off today. It's cold and rainy out today-You should consider going tanning to take the chill out! For the short time I tanned in the colder weather I used to LOVE getting in that hot box when it was nasty outside. OMG it felt soooo good!:)

Angie: So you like the term "yogic", ey? Kewl! It's a word then!:7 My cold is changing and fading and fading and changing. It's not gone but the airborne, etc have kept it from getting worse. The symptoms have changed over the days so I am once again blessed (NOT!) with phlegm which means a cough is probably on the way. OH JOY!x( SNOW FLURRIES!?!? YIKES! lol

Today's work out plan is cardio if I have the OOMPH after work. I'll see how I feel.

morning Ladies!

Getting in early today!

I changed up class last night and did 40 min. cardio step .. then 20 min heavy shaping .. it whooped my butt .. forgot how hard it was doing weights AFTER step cardio! endind w/a good burning abs session!

Not sure if I will make the gym at lunch .. have the TORTURE class tonight and that class is hard to do anything extra AND do it correctly! so may skip and run some errands! Think my torture class scared off the new young girls ... they have not been back since the last torture class! LOL

Cathy - hate your work is driving you nuts .. hey .. at least I am not alone ... I know sometimes you do have to accept things as they are and stop thinking about them so much or you go nuts and stays miserable! PIA is still up to her crap .. and I have reached the saturation point too .. just time to make myself busy and reach for the duct tape every time I feel like venting! LOL

Wendy .. by subbing I guess you mean workouts? Or are you really subbing for someone! sorry if I missed that! I hope your cold goes away .. man that has been hanging on huh??

Angie .. I was hoping psycho ex was chilling too .. but sounds like he has been chilling as in STALKING my friend .. creepy is putting it mildly .. I hope she gets a clue quick!!

We are getting a cold snap today .. high of 56 or so ..then will drop to 37 tonight .. then 52 tomorrow .. then 32 the next night .. bbbbrrrrrrrrr .... our weather goes from wearing shorts one day to bundling up the next!!

OK .. going to go now .. have duct tape standing by if my mouth feels like over spewing!

Morning fellow cabbers

I got up this morning and I'm still a bit sore from C&B and ARX that I did on Sunday. That one kills me....especially after "recovery" week. I have Imax3 on the docket for today. I'm in the mood for a good cardio.:) I was going to go into work and get some stuff caught up but decided to stay home and go thru some filing and other stuff here. It's cold out there and I just didn't want to bundle up and go out the door.http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Others/winter-146.gif A warm laptop on my lap was certainly a more inviting proposal. *lol*

So, can you delay the Nat. Board stuff until next spring maybe or have you already paid for it? I think any type of school work this time of year is tough b/c of the holidays. I'm always so busy with everything else to concentrate on a big project.

Wendy - DH's uncle was in my office yesterday and he has the yucks and can't seem to shake it. I told him about airborne and I will probably take some in with me tomorrow and give it to him. I can't believe I didn't know about this stuff sooner. I hope it helps him, but like I told him....it can't hurt right? I’m back from my pedi and will kick around a bit before I start on my to-do list with some grading.

Wendy :: Yeah, I will definitely be subbing for Tony’s cardio and probably for legs, too. I agree w/ you there…I’m thinkin’, too, I might try to make some doubles happen on some days…You musta been reading my mind. I went tanning before my pedi (now I’m itchin’ like heck!). I want to go one last time tomorrow before I leave on Thursday morning. Oh yeah, I meant to say I like the word “yogic,” too, and I'm not positive, but I think it actually *is* a word. :) So didja have the OOMPH for a cardio session today?

Hi again

OK....I'm officially nuts. DH called and wanted to know if I could make dinner for MIL and her brother who has been up visiting for the last week (he lives in Mass.). Anyhow, I said no b/c I didn't have any idea what to make...then reconsidered and told him OK. So, I just got carrot cake out of the oven which is driving my crazy cause it smells SOOOOOO good and a roast in the crock pot. It's half frozen so I hope it gets done in time. It's a good thing I got most of my cleaning done this past weekend. I've got rolls out thawing and I'll also make green bean casserole and some rice. That should do it.:)

Cathy - We haven't got any snow yet today but it is windy and cold. I opened up the oven and let the heat out and I just stood there and took in the carrot cake smell and basted in the heat. Ahhhhhh That's as close to tropical heat as I'm gonna get for a while.
Yup, you'll get it done.....I have faith in you. When it gets to crunch time you'll plow thru it. You are very lucky to love your job so much. I'm afraid that if you didn't this situation would be even worse on you. Keep your eye on the prize and everything else is just small stuff. I know it's easy to say and something entirely different to do.

There goes the dryer buzzer.....

I opted for Plyo X today but only did half. I didn't want to have to rush getting ready to go to MIL's plus considering I am still congested I didn't want to push it. I don't want to be sick for my weekend in Baltimore!!!

No time for personals right now but I will catch up later or tmrw morning!:)

... what a freaking long @$$ day!! pardon my language! These long days are nice in the morning .. but killing me in the afternoon .. my body thinks I should be exercising and I get VERY restless this last looooooooooooong hour of the work day!

DH left me some home made Brunswick stew in the ref. for supper .. and this COLD night .. after class .. going to rush home .. take me a good LOOOONG hot bath .. put on some nice warm comfy jamies ... eat some stew .. and watch my dancing w/my baby dogs .. (DH at work and is always so thoughtfull to leave me supper .. he knows I will not cook for myself.. he takes such good care of me)

Hi Ladies,

Somehow I lost my post and have to start again...UGHHH Anyway, I had a great circuit class last night. We did 10 min cardio followed by leg weights and repeated the circuit 4 times using different cardio equipment and doing different leg exercises.

Cathy-great job getting in your exercise before your busy day took hold. You sure are busy on your day off. I hate when that happens.
I hope things get better at work for you. So do you actually have the rest of the week off, and are leaving Thursday on the cruise? I hope you have a wonderful time.

Angie-You are not a deadbeat mom! DH likes to stay at practice and Jerod likes it to. However, I have basketball duty when that comes along in another month. I can't complain since football season is longer and their practices are longer and more often. It's so thoughtful of you to go ahead and make dinner for guests (when you really don't want to).

Wendy-plyo x is a goodie and half is probably perfect for the amount of cardio you are looking for. I need a rotation to follow, I am much more consistent then. I do agree that the X is lacking on leg work for (for me anyway) and I do need more cardio than the classic rotation calls for.

Laura-Amanda and the twins are doing fine now. They did give her shots in both arms to stop the contractions. I expect her to deliver the girls early but we don't want them to come too early. I am worried for your friend with psyco ex. Hopefully she will come through that RO before it is too late. Have fun torturing your class tonight.

I have had this up for about 2 hours now. Hope it all makes sense.
