Have a scaled-back long run of 7 this morning and need to get out there early before it gets even muggier.

Di ~ glad to hear your training is going well. Enjoy the BBQ today with Amanda's grandparents. New pics? I'll have to check 'em out.

Oh, I don't know about that. *lol* Sometimes "never" works for me. :7 I'm glad to hear last night's outing left you feeling like the friendship is on solid ground again. Oh yeah, I'm all over that!!! :7...Re: the Kindle...you can download & preview a portion of any book for free. Once you buy, you have 7 days to return it. When you do, it disappears from your directory, I think...Things are crazy with the gas situation; we all have to get creative and conserve more. I think using the garage sale money to fuel your trips is clever...So we could have a new little mascot by next weekend already! Wouldn't that be sweet?...The finale is today. I think it'll take a lot of luck for Germany to get past Spain, but I'll enjoy the game either way. I admire Spain's showing in this tournament, and God, don't they have the most beautiful team. Fun to look at it not just for how they play. :9 Germany has muscled through kind of sloppily, and they might be without one of their key players today. It will be exciting to watch, no doubt. BUT it's also always a downer for me when these big tourneys come to an end.

I opted for a rest day yesterday. I napped for 2.5 hours and couldn't shake the grogginess after.

So Have you hit Target yet this morning? :7 I thought about heading there last night to pick up another KB but it would have been too rushed. Perhaps I'll go this morning. }( Do you think that's the best place to get 'em or should I look in Sports Authority as well? I don't even remember seeing them in SA though.

Good job on the run in the nasty weather! I don't look forward to doing that this summer! YUCK! LOL

Speaking of Core work, KBG's abs and core premix was great! I was REALLY feelin' it by the end. I thought for sure I'd have some DOMS in my abs this morning but I don't. Oh well. So what do you think of that power breathing thing she does? It's wierd but I can actually feel it if I do it right.

Yeah, if I am in my house and KNOW I do not have a car to go anywhere it reaks havock on my little polish brain!LOL I could stay in the house all freakin' day and be fine so long as I KNOW I COULD go out if I wanted to but once you take the car away, I'm done!:p
 
Hey, Wendy ~ nope, haven't been to Target in nearly 2 weeks, I think. New record! I've purchased my kettlebells there and at Dick's. I've never looked in SA for them...Honestly, I'm not even sure I remember the breathing. I only did one segment on that DVD so far, and I couldn't tell you the name of it at the moment, either.

I remember seeing bells at Dicks as well but I don't have one close to me. I think I was at a mall about 30 minutes away at the time. I will just stick with Target then. I would look online but I can't imagine I'll get any kind of deal after paying for shipping! YIKES!
The power breathing is bizzare but I feel that it works. I wish that DVD was set to some kind of music. The silence is wierd. I may have to add my own music. I don't care what kind...I just need some noise. :7 I like the work outs so far though.
 
Morning girls

It's a beautiful and cool morning here today. I love it! No DH and no DS's.:) They were out the door early this morning. I have lots of chores to do today since it was too darned hot to do anything last week. Soooooo - I get to get it all done today while it is cool. It looks like laundry, vacuuming, cleaning out the trailer, etc. will be on my schedule for today.
Today is supposed to be rest day, but since we are leaving for a long weekend of camping on Thursday night I'd better start my week early again. It almost already feels like I had a rest day since I worked out yesterday morning instead of afternoon. I'll probably get in my UB X w/o sometime today. And I gotta squeeze in that nascar race somewhere. Why are days off so darned busy????:7

Cathy - Oh yea, Rock Band is out. I was kinda surprised at the price though - it's $170!:eek: The boys are now broke....but they hardly care. *lol* Cam is so cute on the drums. I'd like to try it out soon but I don't know if I'll have time today or not.
The kindle sounds cool. If I was more of a bookworm I'd look into it.
I'm getting a bit annoyed that the pup pics are still not posted.x( I emailed today wondering where they were. Hopefully that'll be enough of a kick in the pants to get someone on it.
Last game?:-( ;( Too bad the season didn't last longer for you. I guess you're gonna have to become a nascar fan. The season goes from Feb - Nov.:) That's why I don't feel compelled to sit in front of the tube and watch every race. Do ENJOY that game today!;-)

Hey Cath - Oh joy! I'll let the boys know they are not alone in the poor house. *lol* I think it would be best to try RB before the CAB work. I know that when I did GH after CABs.....let's just say....not so good.:7 Absolutely crackin' up at the poor smilie!
 
I'm back....

I got most of my to-do list knocked out today.:) I didn't however, get the trailer cleaned out. That's OK though since I should have Tuesday to get that done.
I was happy about the fact that I got CST and ARX done! Woooohooo! That will put me a day ahead of schedule so that I won't miss out on much even if we go camping early. I'm so ready for another vacation!
I have tried Rock Band too. I can do well on the songs I know but I'm not very good on the drums or guitar stuff yet.
I've got protein pancakes cooking - any takers??
