Ange!!! :: sorry I missed ya yesterday...thank you!! :7 I cut outta here around 8:30-ish...I discovered the webcam when I accidentally pointed the mouse to the far left of the screen. That would be a riot to have a live chat sometime. Have no idea how that works, though. How great that is for family far away. I wonder if I can get any of my overseas relatives to hook one up...Anywho, cracked up at your Ironman suggestion to Wendy. Glad the boys are lovin' the Wii. I stink at golf, too.

Well, it's back to work for me today. I'm not feelin' it so much...*lol*. After school, it'll be Firepower (finally). Will be nice to get back to working out regularly. This month threw me for a loop! I dare not visit the scale.

Morning girls

I would've liked to sleep in a bit later but I forgot to turn off my alarm last night and the boys with their friend over are less than quiet.x( Oh well, nothing a cup o' joe can't fix.
I'm not sure what w/o I have planned but if I don't like the looks of it I think I will be doing a full body w/o like MM or ME or something along those lines.
Oh crap! I'm watching the news and a snow storm is ready to hit us. 2-4 inches possible.:( This is a terrible April fools from mother nature!!!

Cathy - Too bad you didn't have one more day off to sit back and enjoy life! But, I'll bet you'll have a great day knowing life is back to normal. So, the next step is the exam this summer is that right?
Ya know, this puter came with an instruction CD, which I have never even looked at. *lol*

Good Morning Ladies,

Well I should be downstairs working out, but I'm too sore. Angie hit the nail on the head, I am aching from last nights class. When you get out of bed limping that's a sign you need a little more time before the next workout. If I can make it to the rec ctr at lunch, it'll be for chest and back work.

I did get up though and make salads for lunch today and tomorrow. I also put chicken breasts, onion soup mix and cream of mushroom soup in the crockpot so dinner will be ready when I get home. I'll steam some broccoli & cauliflower too.

I loved last nights class. It was a cardio circuit with 12 steps. Each step included 3 squat jumps, 5 squats, 30 sec wall sit, (torture of choice including walking lunges, pushups, pullups, squat slides...). The reall killer was between each of these we had to run 2 sets of stairs and 1 lap. Once we to step 2, we did step 2 and step 1. Then step 3, 2 and 1 and so on. She finished us off with some tough ab work.

I perused the blog for minute and those roll ins with the leg extension look so hard. I'm contemplating getting Cathe's new piece of equipment. I would much rather have a squat rack that I could put a bench under. My basement is packed with all of Cody and Amanda's stuff in it and I don't have room for a full squat rack right now.

I finally got my bills paid but haven't had a chance to balance the checkbook. My kitchen table is full of mail that I need to go through and I have to work this weekend. I really hate this stressfull feeling. I'm going to tackle a little bit each night this week.

Cathy-I bet you are so relieved. Are you following a rotation for this month or just playing it by ear?

Angie-Sorry you weren't able to sleep in. I know how it is when the kids have friends over. You comment to Wendy about doing an ironman cracked me up.

Laura-Where are you missy. I hope everything is okay with.

Wendy-You must be working this morning. Hope you have a great day.

MAN .. I hate I missed the cyber toast! Dang it! CONGRATULATIONS CATHY!!!!:D :D :D

I left work Thursday afternoon and was out Friday and yesterday. I passed the freaking stone .. and of all things caught a dang head cold! I had high fever Sat. night, Sunday, and yesterday ... but now feeling MUCH much better!! Still stuffed up .. and feel BEAT UP .. but much better! I feel like I have lost 10# b/c of not eating and being sick .. YUCK!! Dh has been taking care of me! Bless his heart! And Toots the female she has been curled up w/me on the couch .. licking me .. mothering me! LOl .. I hope that is sign she is preggers! Yes I wanted to breed them! She is outta heat now and Buster is finally acting normal!! thank goodness!

Boy .. I missed a lot .. but looks like you girl well made up for my lack of exercise!! WOW ..

Cathy .. when I feel better I am making a be-lated cyber toast on your behalf!! May have one tonight ;) CONGRATS again .. WTG!!! I know that is a lot off your shoulders .. and I am suprised we were wrong about you being Miss Organized! You must have my sense of chaotic organization .. I know where it is .. if you give me enough time that is .. LOL!!!

Wendy ... have your legs recovered yet?? I missed out on the post about your race .. did you run .. and your time?? I have a feeling you aced it!!

Di .. your meltdown classes are scary .. how in the world do you manage an additional workout on the days you do the meltdown class?? WOW .. that is amazing!!

Angie .. crongrats on the Wii score ... I took a look at the blog too .. OMG ... the abs look crazy insane hard!! And the pull up bar/stand .. very interesting .. it allows you several different levels of the pull up .. and something tells me she will come up w/even more insane ways of torture using that device!!

OK Ladies .. sorry for my absence .. sure would have rather been here cyber toasting w/my cyber pals then feeling like crap and in pain!! I am not sure if I will teach tonight .. brought my stuff .. but I am still pretty weak .. so I may not .. but IF I do .. I am thinking maybe a ball class .. not easy .. but the easiest thing I do!! LOL

If you had fever and weight loss it sounds more like the flu than a head cold. You should probably take it easy for a few more days. It's hard to keep a girl like you down, but another non-workout day may be just the thing for you. *shakes finger*
I want the new Cathe thingie, but I really don't need it. The power tower I have along with the bench I already have should take care of my needs, but I still want it.

Diana - I'm not sure if the new equipment can be used as a squat rack. I think I read that in the STS forum. Apparently the rack is not stable enough for the height needed for a squat rack. It seems like it could somehow be modified to change that though.
Dontcha hate it when mail piles up? I have a pile that I should go thru today.....but we'll see.;-) I get so sick of the junk mail.

Hi Girls.

I missed y'all this morning. I couldn't post cause our power was out. x(

I ended up pulling out our little portable DVD player (which was charged thank goodness) and doing a short cardio work out (Rockin' Body Disco Groove) to pass time since I was up with no electric in the house. I couldn't even have coffee until I picked some up on the way to work! Oh the horror!:eek: LOL

I'm getting ready to do Cardio Sculpt to hit the upper body and then I plan to get in another stretching/yoga session. My legs are definately on the mend. As of the this morning my knees were back to normal. Now it's just my hips and thighs that are sore. I'm getting there though!;)

I'll be back after my work out for personals.

I'm back. :)

That was a nice little work out. The yoga/stretch vid I did is from Beach Body. It's got some funky Hawiian name to it that means "Awaken the Body". It's 27 minutes long and I really enjoyed it. It's Tony alone on a beach in shorts...maybe THAT'S why I liked it so much!;) }( :p :7 I decided to add on the standing ab work from TJ Ab Jam at the end as well.

Cathy: Sorry you had to get back to school this morning but I'm sure you feel like a whole new person with that darned NB monkey off your back for now! Enjoy Firepower! You deserve a most excellent work out! Had fun toasting with you last night!:)

Ang: So what work out did you decide on? How often do you clean out your fridge? It seems as though you are doing it constantly! LOL

Laura: Sorry you felt so crappy over the weekend but I'm glad that you finally passed that darned stone and are back to your old self again! Let us know if your girl is preggy or not!:7 Will you sell the pups, keep any, or GIVE them away?? I finished my race in 1:39:41 which is excellent for me! That's under a 10 min/mile pace! I was looking to come in at 1:50 and kinda hopin' for 1:45 but NEVER expected to hit it under 1:40! I am VERY happy!:+

Diana: Yay for DOMS! }( Sorry the paperwork is piling up on you. That happens to me too but usually only cause I put it off!:p My goodness your melt down class doesn't let up! You rock for continuing to all yourself to be tortured by this instructor! LOL Your dinner for tonight sounds delish! We are having steak and chicken on the grill with who knows what sides. Last night we had salmon. YUMMY!:9

Just watching the Biggest Loser and finishing the last of the laundry. I forgot about it actually, until DH wondered if he had any underwear.:eek:
I ended up doing CTX upper body. That really gets my anterior shoulders and chest. I think I will be feeling it tomorrow. But, I'll have IMAX to work out the kinks after work tomorrow.

Wendy - I DO feel like I'm cleaning out the frig all the time! :7 I usually try to get in there once a week. The leftovers have a tendency to work themselves to the back and I hate to throw away food so I try to catch everything before it starts growing fur.x(

I tend to let my uneaten left overs creep to the back and yes, they often grow fur on them. YUCKY! I am bad with that. I tend to not clean it out until I am running out of room to put the EDIBLE FOOD!:p :7

We had some rain and some wind but I didn't think it was all that bad. Who knows...I'm just glad it was back on when I got home from work!!!
