Cable of ipod touch/ipad to TV?

Can someone recommend a good cable to connect my ipod touch and ipad to TV? Is a composite cable good enough or is component better? Any brand name recommendations please? Thank you!

Depends on the tv you have. I have the composite from apple and so far no issues

We use an iPad HDMI adapter cable from apple. They sell it at Target.
