You ladies are too funny.... Here are my five...

1. My job -- it annoys/stressed me on an almost daily basis, but I am thankful to have a job in this economy and I'm even getting a raise this year. I am able to help people in my work, which is rewarding.
2. My weight -- another thing that annoys/stresses me often. But I am very healthy and very fit, and that matters waaayyy more than whatever the scale says.
3. My boys -- they really know how to get to me, but I love them both so so so much!

Hmm, I might need to think on this some more and come back with my other two!

Clean eats so far, productive morning, good mood. Now back to work for a few more hours!

boy did i need this midday checkin. just when i am feeling down or grumpy, it is like coming into a room full of friends. makes me feel soooo good. i wish we were all neighbors!

angie, lol, at least you are leaving. now get packing!

kate, i hear ya on the candy. rmemeber , the day is not over, it is still salvagable.

robin, when did you move to your new house? what do you not like about it? i tend to cardio 6-7 days a week. i cannot help it.

katie, glad for your good day, and thanks again for the daily challenge. 10 miler this am. it was very hard. need to back off for a day or so.

colleen, great am wo! hope your day goes well.

klaud, hope your day is nice.

lisa, how is your baby?

work is not good today, though my patients are my shining starts, silver linings. saw one patient today whose owners are in the military - they have been away for 2 years, are back for 6 months, then are going to jax like me. they said they will find me there to be their vet. feels good. eats are good. i "almost" gave up for the day in favor of carbs and sugars, but i came home, finished my shoulders i did not do this morning, and now i am better. also "talked" to you guys. see you all tonight

angie, how bout we punch each other in the face when we eat something bad!?:p your walk sounds a little less dangerous tho!:D
no sweat on no packing - i never do til the last second. plus, think of the shopping you can do for anything you "forget"!:p "oh, shoot! mike! i forgot to pack 3 days worth of clothes! looks like i *have to* go shopping!";);):D:D

robin, will order toay - tx for remnder.
sorry abt your lunch!:eek::p

katie, yay for a raise!

morris, yu are awesome!! thats great abt your patients!

nice day here - weather & moods!

wanted to say...

i was so tempted to eat (oatmeal cookies) even tho im not hungry....
thought about morris sayig the day is still salvageable....and i didnt eat any! so thank you morris!!

ive been thinking abt something.....
we need to be less supportive of eachother when we slip. i can practically talk myself INTO eating bad food knowing what the "encouragement' will be here. does this make sense or is it coming off harsh???? for instance - ice cream. "oh well - calcium & protein i needed" i need to be reminded "fat goes straihht to my belly and sugar slows my metabolism, fuels cancer cell growth, etc"

what can we do to change this?
or am i the only one who feels like this?

Angie - Glad you're feeling better.
Robin - Okay, thanks for the link. Wow, you must have a lot of room in your house to wo.
Katie - Great challenge. I really need it. Been grumpy a lot lately.
Kate - I think having reminders to each other that hey, there are better food choices to make helps me out. I'm a total stress eater and it's a bad habit.
Morris - My baby is doing good. She's 5mos now. Not sleeping through the night yet though. How is your baby doing?
Hi Klaudia, Anne, and Colleen!

Yesterday was a sugar free day, yay! Clean meals. Today I had kashi for bfast so far and I did suck on a Werthers, but no more after this. Here's my five.
1. Kids - Their fighting drives me bonkers, but I'm grateful that they are healthy and wonderful otherwise.
2. Job - Stressful, but glad I still have a job and a flexible boss that lets me work from home and bring my baby to work.
3. Body - Not losing weight as quickly as I like, but at least I only have 6-7lbs to go and I'm healthy and can workout.
4. House - The mess and clutter was getting to me, but glad I have a house to live in and we are in the midst of redoing floors, the garage, and garage door. Most people don't even have a home to live in.
5. Bills - They suck, but at least we have the money to pay them and DH just got a raise and is getting another one in two months. Can't complain.

Wow that was really theraputic! Off to start my day! BBL.

Lisa

You are right Kate for now on we need to have a snap-out-of-it attitude.

Did I tell you all that I had a big cheeseburger yesterday? What you have to say about that?

Lisa good list and you are right so many people are losing and have already lost their homes and/or jobs. So we need to be thankful.

Off to bake fish for dinner.

Sorry, guys, my day turned super busy. I'll try to be back tonight for personals, but I can't promise. I will be here tomorrow, tho! See you in the AM, if not sooner.

anne

lisa, nice list!
and guess what? it is NOT necessarily age-appropriate for them to go completely thru the night til 8-9 months. pomai & julia are normal!:D
fried chicken - love it at the moment, but i know how i belch like a truckdriver and feel so awful later...fried is easy to resist for me. cookies are another story tho! nexttime youre faced w/ fc remember how you feel right now!

klaudia, im getting worried about you! did you g on a nutella muffin binge???

robin, hmmmm...th cheeseburger.....sounds like youre rebounding well w/ the fish!

hi anne! hope youre having a c&t day!

did good at dinner! help me keep my paws outta the cookie jar!

Awwww, Kate!! They are beautiful!! Gina looks just like you, and I think Isabell looks like Mike. Not sure about little J just yet.....

Okay, here are my other two stressors to complete the challenge for today:

4. Pets -- my damn dog just pi$$ed in my house:mad: And these cats are on a rampage, determined to overturn every trash can in my house:mad: But I love them, they are wonderful companions.
5. Extended Family -- they are annoying and sometimes rude, but I do love them and I'm thankful for the constant support from them.

Okay, that's it for me. A few Dove dark choc covered almonds around mid-day, but everything else was totally on-point. I am very sleepy now. Nite!

katie, lol!!! everyone that sees us daily says the opposite -
gina is mike
isabel is me
julias the blue-eyed blonde w/ a fam full of dk hair/eyes parents/sibs! but she looks like m's baby pics so she should darken up!:p

and i want to physically alter my dog and cat at least thrice daily each!

night night everyone.

kate, love the pics.

katie, glad your day was good.

lisa, sorry for the fried chick. great job yesterday!

i am going to go collapse. day stayed clean - 2 tiny pieces choc is all the sugar i had. dh is home saturday. sighhhhh. 1 more full day of work. not sure i am getting up early tomorrow.

Sorry I didn't make it back earlier. Here are my other 4:

my job - no matter how bad it gets, I have great friends at work to commiserate
my husband - he always procrastinates but when my computer breaks he fixes it right away.
my car and cell phone, I have a cell phone to leave in my car to go back outside on a chilly morning to get.

Kate, love your new avatar and the pictures of DD's are great! I agree that this forum can cheer us on when we eat bad. Maybe next week's challenge should be no encouragement for bad behavior.
Robin, I love plyo legs but I really wish I had a squat stand to do the other M3 legs. I am waiting for the valor to come out.
Morris, I am glad you have a place to cheer you up and met some people who will be in jax too. That always makes the transition easier.
Lisa, ^5 on the sugar free day yesterday! Shake off the fried chix and have a healthy dinner.
Angie, sorry about the rain. Hope the weather is nice tomorrow.

b: oatmeal w/ almonds
s: 1/2 clif bar, peanut butter egg
l: steamed tofu & veggies, apple
s: strawberries & yogurt, almonds, veggies
d: salmon, sweet potato & broccoli

Kate - super cute girls!
Morris - Have a relaxing night!
Katie - Good point about family. I feel the same way too.
Robin - Cheeseburger for you, fried chicken for me. We'll get back on track.
Hi Anne!

So my dinner was good. Stir fry - lean meat, asparagus, and tofu. It was actually pretty tasty. I didn't get to workout though. I got called into work last minute and now I am scheduled to go in tomorrow since the computer people couldn't finish fixing the computer. Eugh. I have GS BSB on schedule for tomorrow.

Lisa

Lisa, what time did you post this? I didn't get notification of it until 9:30 AM my time! :) It's crazy that you're talking about dinner...
