Morning girls,

Headed out to coffee at a friend's house this morning with the kids. Should be a nice day - looks sunny. Maybe a trip to the park this afternoon.

WO this am was Low Max and PUB abs. It took me about 20 minutes to get into Low Max. I was just tired and sore and almost gave up but it ended up being really good. I'm really enjoying this circuit rotation! Hoping it provides the results I'm seeking.

Eats have been good (aside from 3 doritos yesterday). Trying to get myself into a good routine before vacation so I don't go crazy.

Morris - How did open house go?

I am nursing the baby to sleep right now. Will do some ub weights after. Eats were much better on Sunday. I am feeling in a sort of funk right now. I don't know what it is. Anyone ever feel that way sometimes? Hoping the wo will snap me out of it.

Lisa, I know exactly what you mean, I've been in a funk lately too. I *think* I am coming out of it but I'm not totally sure. (((hugs))) Do one thing today that is just for you!
Angie, that sounds like a nice day! I feel that way about Low Max too -- takes a bit for me to get into it. Good for you for sticking it out and finishing!

My run yesterday was good -- I walked for about half a mile to warm up, then ran just over 3 miles, and walked another half mile to cool down. It felt so great! I had a bit of discomfort yesterday afternoon after my run, but it feels fine now.

I am stressed this morning about everything I need to accomplish today. But first things first - my wo will be 4DS Legs and L&G floorwork.

i did abs and gs bsb - went heavier than cathe on every exercise. i plan to swim later. 2 more shiowingsd today. that is good, right? so i tell myself.... bbiab

My WO was good - feeling pretty good about my day. I can only do as much as I can do. Chris has a dinner meeting tonight so I am on my own parenting and such until 730 or 8 but I will survive! Cross your fingers that C is in a good mood for me!

Nina, your WO sounds great. Two showings!!! One of these people has to buy your house. Do you have like a mansion or something that people just want to look at but aren't serious about buying? I don't get it!

We stayed for lunch at my friend's house but I felt bad because she had made a meat sauce for pasta and I had to tell her I am not eating red meat anymore. I felt bad but oh well. I'm too grossed out by it right now to be polite.

So, I'm a bit hungry b/c my plain pasta didn't have a whole lot of substance! Need to eat something else. Some fruit and ???

Feeling ***GOOD**** with my WOs this week. Eats are good too. Positive thinking?

Disneyland tomorrow!!! :)

Morning! I have some cardio on the agenda- something lower impact today. My knees are bugging me a bit so I am trying to take care. Funny you guys are talking Low Max, because I was thinking that...or LIC cardio. LIC is more fun I think. :)

Katie: WTG on the workout and that's great about no pain! You'll get through the day today, just one thing at a time.

Lisa: YES. My funks usually involve junk food and self pity followed by anger with myself for doing that. We all have our bad moods from time to time- the UB workout will help. That usually works for me.

Robin: GOOD LUCK today! I hope you have a terrific first day and enjoy the new job. I will think happy thoughts for you today.

Angie: I can't stand meat sauce and I eat meat! I would have eaten it plain too.

Nina: It feels good to beat Cathe, no? :D Good for you. How did the showings go? Any feedback you can use?

Kids were a handful yesterday- Mags was full of attitude and Max is a whirling tornado of destruction. I'm beat and it's MONDAY! Can we say ROAD TRIP? I cannot wait. :eek:

Back to normal around here! I loved having my friend visit but am glad to get back to my regular routine. I was able to get S&H bis/tris and abs in yesterday so the weekend wasn't a total bust. Eating wasn't the best-way too much white chocolate popcorn! For the next two weeks I'm trying to decide if I should switch to one body part/day endurance workouts or stick to hypertrophy. Any thoughts?

Angie, getting into LM takes me a while, too. Good job on the eats!

Lisa, I get in funks ALL the time. The workout should definitely help.

Katie, glad your run went well. Danica and I are restarting C25K tomorrow-her dance schedule and our company messed things up. Looking forward to it! Hope your day flies by. I'm alone with the girls tonight too-D has a meeting:(

Nina, great workout! I love when I can go heavier than Cathe! Yesterday on S&H tris lying extensions, she used 8's, I started with 10's and had to go up to 12's!! Felt strong! Good luck with your showings-yes it's a good thing.

Hi Kath!

I had a nice visit with my parents on Saturday. We took a drive along the water and stopped in a cute town on the lake (Lexington, Klaudia, I thought of you) to have ice cream. It turned into a really nice outing. Yesterday I slept in, did some laundry and went to the grocery store. Kate, I made your chicken tortilla soup. Delish! And I made a huge batch, so there are leftovers in the fridge and the freezer. I also bought stuff to make hummus pit-zas. Take a piece of pita bread, spread it with hummus and then pile stuff on you like. I use artichoke hearts, pepperoncini, roasted red peppers, olive tapenade and some mozz or provolone cheese. Pop it in the oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese and warm it all up. Yummy. I think I'm going to make that for lunch today.

I took the afternoon off to go condo hunting again. Jim is also looking at places, although he hasn't seen any yet. He was at his mother's all weekend, so he'll probably look this week. Fun stuff.

Did you guys see the Shock Cardio update on FB? So exciting! I cannot wait for these wos and to put them together with STS. Yay!

Klaudia: Good for you for fitting in a workout. Eh on the popcorn, it happens.

Anne: I'm so happy you had a nice relaxing weekend. Good idea on the hummus pitas- never thought to do that and make it a sorta pizza. I may do that this week for a change.

Heading down to workout. My favorite babysitter is here and I should be working but I figure working out is close to that, right?? Ha.

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I was MIA yesterday but too much to do and too little time. I slept in, had to go to the grocery store and then back home for 2 hours to get all my Sunday stuff done before we headed to my inlaws. Needless to say I didn't get it all done. I have to iron tonight or I won't have anything to wear to work tomorrow. I am happy Chris picked up dry cleaning over the weekend and at least had something to wear today.

Kate, I hate working on vacation. hope payroll doesn't take too long.

Holy moly! My ffriend's bodybugg calculated she burned almost 1000 calories at the zoo! Considering she weighs 5# more than me and is a few inches shorter, I'd say I got a good workout!

Patti, they both have w-o-r-k in them, so I'd say it's the same thing;)

Anne, what a nice wekend you had! Isn't Lexington cute? That hummus/pita pizza sounds awesome!

Colleen, can you come over and iron my clothes? I NEVER iron anything! I use carrying Nevena as an excuse as to why I'm wrinkled;) Great eats!

Kate, Darrin always works on vacation:( His phone never really stops ringing. I can't imagine if he were a doctor or lawyer! Have fun at the beach! The popcorn is way too easy-2 bags of popcorn mixed with a bag of melted pink (white) chocolate! So good!

So endurance or hypertrophy? I need advice!
 
Colleen, GREAT Wo & EATS!!! I've never had fish tacos....they were on a menu at a place we were at this week. I considered ordering them but went w/ chicken.
I usually wait to iron until ALL of the clothes need ironing....NOT my favorite chore!:p

Well, now I'm annoyed with my realtor. I told her I could meet her this afternoon after 1:30 (okay, I told her that last week). I emailed her this morning to tell her I would be at work until 12:30, where and when should I meet her? She sent a message back to meet her 15 to 20 minutes from my office at 12:45. When am I supposed to eat lunch? I was even going to go home and cook it! So now I have to leave work early so I have time to eat. Which I can't skip. Lunch is almost always my biggest meal of the day, so it's vitally important that I get it! Plus I'm cranky when I'm hungry, so it's really best for everyone that I remain well fed. Ugh. Oh, well, I'm lucky that my boss doesn't really pay attention to stuff like that. But now I have to decide where to go.

Okay, I'm done whining now. Pass the cheese, please.

I did Low Max- was only going to do combos 1-4 and by then I was into it so I finished it. Then I did the BC core only premix and the LM stretch.

Anne: LOL at pass the cheese! :D I am a bear when I don't eat, just ask my family!

Kate: Have fun, glad the weather is cooperating! Where do you go on vacation? I am shopping for drive distance locations for next year.

Klaudia: Right, they both had WORK in them!! I told you those kind of days were major calorie burners. A few years ago J and I took the kids and the double stroller to the zoo in August and I swear we both lost 2 pounds, not just water weight. :eek: I am doing endurance right now to continue leaning out for a few more pounds. You said you have 4 vanity pounds to lose, right? Then endurance baby!

Colleen: Despise ironing. We love fish tacos, especially in summer since I make it on the grill and it isn't stinky in the house. :)

Gotta go feed the beasts. My wo lasted too long but I had so much fun. :D

Our vacation is always Traverse City. We feel like we should go other places but we know the area and we all love it.

Payroll Part 1 is done. Part 2 will be in another 30 minutes..... I hate getting this new stuff set up. Oh well.. Hoefully this will be better wen it's all in place.

I double checked with the realtor and we're not meeting until 1:45. So I do have time to go home and make lunch. I'm still going to sneak out a little early, though. For some reason I really want to go home and make my lunch. That's weird for me so I'm going with it!
