conference at finn's school went really well. aidan is perkier and napping now. i should be "doing" something but am still half asleep. gotta go figure out what i am "supposed to be doing."
 
Robin: Enjoy KBing today! Confession- I have 2 KBs that I got for Christmas and a few DVDs and I have yet to try it! I think I'm intimidated.

Kate: Stop enabling me on buying CS! :p

PT / Bedwetting: Max refuses to use the potty- totally annoys me but I try not to let him know that. ;) He just turned 2 in March but I KNOW he could do it if he wanted to- le sigh.

Klaudia: LOL at you running in circles. I always do racing games with Mags at the park so I get in a few speed intervals. :) Good luck babysitting today. Play dough- do you have the recipe to make home made? Max's big boy bed will be here this weekend, so he is still in the crib. I think he needs Transformers sheets. :rolleyes:
 
Quick drive by. I've been so lazy and unmotivated to work out lately that I'm not worthy to be posting here. It's been over two weeks since I lifted weights. That will change either today or tomorrow. And I AM going to run 3 times this week, even though I blew it off yesterday. Seriously. I have to. It will get done.

Anne sorry about the past few stressful week. To get going today tell yourself that you will only run for 15min. And 15min will turn into a 1/2 hour.

Patti which kbell DVDs do you have? What size kbells? Anyone who can do STS can swing a kbell. My kids weren't potty trained until I brought them a child's seat for the toilet.

Kate how did the girls like the zoo?

My w/o is done. I did Mankiller...I mean Manmaker (drills) and Goddess w/o for about 45min....this is to make up for the lazy weekend.

My first real kbell w/o...(not including the silly free w/o that came with the kbells) was Lauren Brooks. Give it a try with 15# before you know it you will need the 20#.
 
Only 5 hours to go;) Got a lot done already, too-laundry, cleaned a bathroom, dusted. Haven't figured out what workout I want to do-did 4Ds last week, but I'm not feelin' it today. Should I switch to endurance? Do I look too muscular? What say you?

Morris, did you figure out what you were doing?;) And for the record-the shoes had a platform.

Patti, we'll be putting Nevena in a big girl bed this summer too-gotta get paint for Danica's room first.

Kate, we have the Detroit Zoo! It's not the best zoo ever but it's fun! Let's plan a zoo date:)
 
Does carrying a 23# baby around the zoo count as a WO?:p For whatever reason she was so upset in her stroller. So I carried her. They're only babies once so I really don't care but my low back is killing me!:p Chiro this afternoon!:p We had lots of fun.

Morris, I need to get doing something too.... I'm a bit of a zombie at the moment...came here to recharge!:D

Patti, I'm anxious to try kbells too. Too busy loving STS to actually spend the $.

What works best for you for DZoo? Any certain day of the week? And I think it's a great zoo! We went while I was pg w/ Julia - had a great time.

The funeral for Jim's aunt is tomorrow. It turns out they drove down instead of flying. His nephew was supposed to go with them, but he got the flu and couldn't go. So he and his brother drove down Saturday and got there yesterday afternoon. They're staying at the convent (did I tell you said aunt was a nun?). I don't know when they're coming back. Presumably he'll call and tell me, but who knows? bbiab

Quick drive-by. I am in reviews with the client again. I really can't wait until this is over. I have major PMS and I feel like a bloated pig. I posted my resume on monster and got 2 good responses (I got a couple of responses for positions that I am not interested in).

Angie, I struggle on GS Legs floorwork. I can do the other leg floorwork. I do all kinds of weights. I generally follow Cathe's rotations unless I want to focus on something specific.
Patti, I am really enjoying the June rotation. Plyo legs was a killer and I have been running up and down stairs all morning. I hope I can walk tonight.
Klaudia, busy weekend. I will have to check out your dress tonight.
Katie, sorry about the cramps.
Kate, I don't know if I could carry a baby around the zoo. You are a great mom.

when in doubt, work out! that helped get me focused today, so all my abs, legs and cardio is done. i still feel kind of funny - tummy and such - but i can manage. poor aidan is still not himself. i think we will go to the dr tomorrow, just to be safe. eats are really clean tody. fish for dinner per finn's request ("mommy, can we have fish tonight?") he is so cute! no offers on my house. i am very annoyed. ah well, no more complaining. bbiab

Afternoon! I just did the floor work from GS- our earlier conversation made me do it. :) So yeah, legs are definitely done for the day.

Colleen: Good luck with the job hunt- I remember how frustrating of an experience that can be. I have gone up and down the stairs and million times today too- always seems to happen on a leg day. :D

Morris: I don't like the whole process of moving, especially the uncertainty. I know a buyer will come along for you but that doesn't make waiting any easier. Hey, at least you got that WO in! Remember, no stress baking! (I say this more to myself. :p)

Eats are stellar today- getting ready for blueberry goo. Dinner will be chicken tenders marinated in a tomato basil sauce with whole wheat couscous with garlic, lemon and fresh spinach sauteed in it.

I'm off soon. I have to run 5 miles tonight and finish cutting the grass. I never did it on Friday because I was wallowing in self pity (more or less) and then it rained on Saturday. I should have done it when I got home from my parents, but it was almost 7 and I was tired. So I put it off. Just when I was ready to do it on Sunday afternoon, people started showing up at my next door neighbor's for a baby shower. In her backyard. So I thought it would be rude to run our SUPER LOUD lawn mower. I did the front at 7:30 last night, now I have to do the back tonight. I hope I get it done...

So I decided to do one of FF's Get Ready for Summer rotations-doing 2 upper body, 1 lower body, 1 circuit, and 2 cardio days. I may use Plyo Legs as one of the cardio days. Today I tried my new PP/SS dvd and did a pp upper premix-2 sets. I can't imagine doing the 3 set one!

Kate, pick a day-T/Th work best for us! And yes carrying that much baby definitely counts as a workout! Thanks for the compliment! Sometimes when I see myself I think it's too much muscle, other times not nearly enough! Never satisfied!

Anne, the babysitting is going pretty good. It's Nevena who's being the most difficult! And seeing the lunches is getting to me, but I'm trying to look past it and focus on what mine eat! But it's hard! So much sugar-ack! I hope you get a run in-the endorphins will be good for your mood. Hugs!

Colleen, I hope you get a bunch of responses to your resume! Feeling like a bloated pig is not the same as being a bloated pig:)

Morris, thanks for the compliment-we are our own worst critics, no? What I would give to hear those words come out of my kids' mouths! Great job getting all the workouts in!

WOO hOO! Mike and I were (half-joking) about getting ice cream and skipping workouts. :eek: I said I was doing mine. We both had a great WO! I did 4ds chest/back and LIS abs. So glad! Victory over cravings is sweeter than ice cream! Well.... almost!;):p
