Morning girls,

Does anyone know how much I loved receiving a PM this weekend? :cool::D:eek:

Disneyland was fun but crowds were astronomical. Today is a "rest" day and tonight we drive to Brussels and fly to Venice tomorrow.

I'm having a great time. I'll catch up soon. Love you girls! :)

Today starts the LAST week of Meso 3 / STS !!!:eek: Wow, that 3 month rotation has flown by !!!!!!! Today is chest/ back .

Becky, Eating is so on-target and I feel so good! Helps that we have absolutely ZERO cheat foods in the house! I'm going to keep it that way!
I bet you are so ready to be done w/ Meso3! Congrats on getting all the way thru! I'm on My 3rd week of Meso1. Right now I'm doing each week 2x - not sure if I'm actually doing the 6-month rotation but right now my body is loving Meso 1 this way so I'll do this for now.

I love the morning - puttering around before the fam wakes up. I get so much done and can clear my thoughts for the day.

just saw dh off to the airport. he started feeling better late sat and ended up having a productive day sun, thank goodness, because he was useless sat and i was so worried.
about stuff getting done in time. and now JJ woke up all stuffy this morning and hes just cuddling on my lap.

i need to pick myself up and move through this, knowing it wil be over soon. and thanks ladies for letting me pop in to whine and then take off for days...

My Spartans are in the Final Four!! Saturday can't come soon enough! I never got my workout in yesterday-ended up watching the other basketball game then D came home and bedtime for the girls-lame excuses I know. So today is a run/walk and STS disc 24 back/biceps. The usual for the rest of the day-cleaning, laundry, dance.

Becky, I'm just starting Meso 3 this week. And it's looking like Plyo legs-no squat stands for the heavy legs:(

Wendy, glad dh is better. It will all be over soon and then a new adventure awaits! Vent any time-you know we're all good for that!

Anne, did you do disc 26? Butler is kinda like the Spartans-it should be a good game:)

Kate, your breakfast sounds good to me--no eggs. I don't really like eggs, but I eat them scrambled with lots of veggies in them because I know they're a good source of protein.

Hi Colleen, Clintonya, Lisa, Nina and Robin!

I did chest and back from 4DS last night as well as abs from LIS. I just couldn't face an hour-plus work out. And I stuck with STS for the first two Mesocycles, which is quite an accomplishment for me! You know what exercise ADD I have. I'm going to keep using STS for shoulder, bis and tris because I like working those body parts, but we'll see about chest and back. The good news? I could definitely lift heavier than the last time I did 4DS and I did all but the last 6 push-ups on my toes. So that was good.

The coolant light came on in my car yesterday, so I was trying to check the level before work this morning. Well, one of the support arms for the hood of my car is broken, so the hood came down on my head! It just bumped me, but it hurt! It's fine now, but what a way to start the week. Oh, well, the car is at my mechanic now and should be fixed by lunchtime, I hope.

Hi Everyone!

Today's workout was Disc 31 Chest & Back. I had to go down in weight for the last set of chest flys because I just could not lift them up. It was only 2 pounds and I got a good burn. I have been alternating between chest and back doms. Not sure which area will feel it more this week.

Clintonya, you hardly get a break for dance. It sounds like the finale will be a fun performance.
Anne, sorry about your car issue and your head. Glad you are not hurt. I am reading a boring business book this time. I alternate between fiction and nonfiction and it is the nonfiction book now.
Klaudia, I didn't have a chance to watch the game yesterday but I am glad to hear MSU made it.
Wendy, glad DH recovered to help you out yesterday but sorry to hear he is gone already. Are you doing anything for Passover.
Becky, I agree the time has flown by for STS but I will be glad when it is over.

Kate, ^5 for keeping it clean. I eat weird meals sometimes to clean out the fridge too! I hate wasting food.

anne, i have wicked exercise ADD, too. haven't even been tempted by STS for that reason!

klaudia, you are such a big sports fan! hope your team takes it all! i can take it or leave it... but a bunch of my girlfriends are huge football and baseball fans and we have some good times =)

no gym today because of JJ not feeling well. I have also been feeling a lot of pain in my back anyway and I need to make sure I don't get into a full-blown cant-work-out state. that cannot happen. so I think I will try some light cardio like leslie and then some yoga during nap. and a nice long walk later if its stops raining.

Poor JJ, hes so stuffy, but he is super cuddly when hes sick...

Anne, plyo legs went pretty good. Decided the wear jeans today and that was not a good decision after that! You got a w/o in so it is all good Ouch on the hood falling! Hope they get your car fixed quickly!

Kate, glad you and dh got some time together last night :) Keep up the good work-keeping the cheat foods out will help!

Colleen, I know! – I am thinking can’t we wait until mid-June for summer classes to start :) My oldest dd will be going into her senior year, so as long and she wants to do it and acts right :), I will do my best to make it through this coming year! Maybe you will get doms in both this week :)

It stormed last night until at least 2:30 and then we got a leak, so I had very little sleep. Will bbl if I don’t fall asleep!!!

we stayed an extra day at my mom's - i did not want to come home a all. now we are back b/c dh had to go to work and my kids are on spring break. i am all unpacked, but i have not cleaned my houseyet. 10 miles this am and abs and legs so far. i really need to catch up on my wos, so i plan to do tris and shoulders from meso 2 week 2 and some yoga later. eats were really clean and very low carb all weekend, so that is good. i need to be careful today as i already feel my anxiety level rising. anywqays, bbiab!
 
Loved this morning's workout !!! It's long, but I love the heavy lifting. I AM stronger than when I started !!!!!!!! YAY!

Klaudia, the first time I did STS I did Plyo legs but Plyo is not my favorite, so this time I did the squat rack legs. I don't have a squat rack either, but Cathe and the "girls" do it with no squat rack, they use a weighed vest and barbells, so that's what I did too ! I liked it a lot !!!! :)

I made a huge pot of minestrone soup this morning and that's today's lunch.
Breakfast was a breakfast cookie before workout and a protein smoothie after.

hi nina! long time no see! is your guy home traveling right now, too? glad you enjoyed your visit.

clintonya, we are leaving as soon as i pass my road test. i am waiting for a call back to schedule it which could take up to 2 weeks, unfortunately. is the leak in your basement? or from the roof/ceiling? dh is freaked because the drain at the bottom of our driveway got messed up from the recent flooding and now theres 2 more days of rain expected. no idea what i would do without him if something does go wrong so I'm just praying!

colleen, we are not having seder until the weekend because of everyones work schedules (except mine). my family is not super observant so for us its ok to not have seder the first 2 nights the traditional way.

Just got my STS done and I looooooved it! Not sure why it didn't click for me when I did it last year. Well, probably something to do with being postpartum & sleep deprived!:p

Eats are ON TRACK! Had my daily allowed treat of a few choc chips after lunch. Lunch was continued leftover smorgasbord - dinner will be the same.:rolleyes::p

So, the vid.... when we were on RT in 2008 we had quite a good time w/ gunts. Wendy, another good name Stephanie came up with was pubic backpack. I have never laughed so hard in my life! :D:D:D Ok, frass I get (LMBO!) but 'splain frupa to me! PM if necessary!:p

And breakfast cookies sound divine! They would NOT help with my gunt tho!

Colleen, I CANNOT throw food away! Nice going on the WO and the DOMS!

Eggs aren't necessarily my fave but I'm not eating wheat/grains anymore so there goes all my fave breakfast foods.:( The good news is that my body is much happier with me so I guess eggs it is......:rolleyes::rolleyes::p I have to load mine full of veggies & meat too. And I cant think about the egg for too long or I want to vomit - I mean, it was gonna be a CHICK!!!!
