Actually, Klaudia, yes I can see you wearing those to PTO! I've recently decided I'm just going to dress the way I like to dress and who cares what people think? I went to a baby shower recently--middle of the afternoon on a Saturday at a Greek Orthodox church and there were some women there with shoes like that on. And they looked great! They were wearing nice trousers and nice tops with them and I realized that's just how they dress. So why can't I? Anyway, just a thought.

I hope I don't go to DSW tonight. That would be bad. Very, very bad.

Anne, you're absolutely right! And if those women were Greek, then they're like their Mediterranean neighbors-all Yugo women wear fierce shoes-especially to church!
 
Cool shoes Anne & Kate! Anne I could never wear those high heels but they are cute. I like Kate's because they are practical.

I just ordered Physique 57! My glute is feeling better so I figured I could start it when it arrives.

Colleen, you might be surprised! The platform under the ball of the foot makes all the difference. I'm wearing 4" heels I've had on at work all day and I have no pain whatsoever. I put in gel inserts, but the platform makes them easy to walk in. I plan to wear these shoes to a conference in a Chicago and do not anticipate any problems. I'm just sayin'...I didn't used to think I could wear super high heels either.

Klaudia, I think these women were Macedonian--I get confused about that. Sorry! The dad for the baby shower is Macedonian, so I presume they all were, but who knows? (And why don't they just say Greek? I don't know.) Anyway, they looked great, trust me!

Practical shoes are my game - I won't wear a heel of any height. I'm tall enough and too clumsy anyway!:D:p

Anne, LOVE them and almost bought a similar pair! Who are these women? If he was Yugo Macedonian then he's not Greek-huge battle between the Slavs and the Greeks over the word "Macedonian" and Alexander the Great, blah, blah.

I have a shoe thing too! I have already bought 3 pair this year, my defense is that they are all different and necessary for different purposes!!! Off to do MMA Boxing.

The women were related to the baby's dad somehow--I think. I really only knew the woman who's pregnant and two other people at this thing, plus the new mom's mother (and there were like 65 people there. It was in Dearborn.). Anyway, her husband is Greek, but also refers to himself as Macedonian. Now I remember about the Slavs and the Greeks. And I know the Turks and the Greeks hate each other too. Don't the Greeks get along with anybody? Ha!

Workout done! I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself. I'm doing C25k and today's workout was a 5 minute walk followed by 2 intervals of 90 sec run/90 sec walk and 3 minute run/3 minute walk and I did 4 intervals!! Woo hoo! Hope that burned off some of those sliders!

well, i got on my tm, got off after 1 minute, then kicked my butt back on it for a 10 mile run. did some yoga tonight. i am so glad i did, but it will make getting up tomorrow morning really really tough.... not sure it will even happen. anyways, eats ended up cleaned up for the day - exercise makes me eat ebtter, so it is throwing me off to not exercise first thing.

Nina, there's nothing wrong-she's using it to be manipulative. She knows now that she gets attention when she says her tummy hurts. I just couldn't have her crying in the movies, ruining everyone's time. She got the point when she asked to make play dough and I told her, "No, my tummy hurts";) Great workout!
 
oh my, how quickly they learn. the other day i asked finn to get me some wipes for aidan, and he said "mommy, i am busy right now. i will later.":eek: i have to watch what i say i guess. and by the way, your fb picture is fab!!!!

long and super busy day here. did tons of driving and parallel parked 5x (4x i think would be acceptable for the test but 1x i hit the curb). groove class and 60 min power yoga... wo's felt great but my eats were not so good =( new day, see you tomorrow...
