C :: H :: E :: E :: T :: A :: H :: S ~ Wednesday

Gloria :: 'Course, we'll all be cheering on BOTH of you Saturday! :) My iPod has been hooked up to the new laptop since this morning, and it *STILL* doesn't want to allow it disconnect. I can't imagine what it is doing. I will be back to troubleshooting once I hit post...That stinks about the temperature gauge. Mine does that, too, sometimes. The car is fine, but the gauge is not. The Bucket List made me misty-eyed, too. Love how they went to see the Pyramids and the Great Wall of China. Those have always been two of my dream destinations. Saw Freedom Writers again the other night, and THAT one left me a blubbering mess. *lol* :7 How was tutoring today? Original BC ain't no joke--great w/out!

Jackie :: I'm still laughing myself about the Immodium. Back's feelin' better and better, though...I'm glad I'm not alone with the raging appetite. So, was Shred worth it, in your opinion?

Lorie :: see, that's why you're the Wonder Twin. Holy quickness! :) That is right about the top. I remember gushing over it along with all the other cute outfits Cathe & co. were wearing in the photos. Tell me again which all-inclusive you chose.

Christine :: I am overdue for a massage, too, but considering how much I just shelled out for the eye doctor, I think it'll be me and the foam roller for a few months...*lol*...No, the disk damage was done, and it definitely does not take much to wrench my back these days. For the most part, I can be active without any trouble, but periodically, something just is too much...Mmm, thanks for posting the marinade recipe...Awesome workout!!

Wendy :: nice to know we rank above housework. ;) :)...I have CC 2, 6, 7, 8, and a Press Play. Angie and I recently talked about whether or not they could be used outside, and she thought so. But I haven't tried any yet. Soon probably.

Well, my eye exam was...interesting. Looks like I will be having eye surgery in the near future to correct an ongoing double vision problem. *cue up the Foreigner, please* :7 In the past, I have had PT for the eyes and have been able to compensate reasonably, but it seems to have progressed beyond my control now. I needed new glasses and opted to get prescription sunglasses as well since I don't know if or how much I will be able to wear my contacts. Just for the two pair alone with the stinkin' prisms in them (needed to fix the double vision) I am out close to $600.

That is 6 massages! Or 11 pedicures. Or 4 new pairs of running shoes. Or 3 STSs....In other words, this means I am completely immune to ENABLEMENT for awhile. :7 Better not to think about it. ;) *lol*

Have a great night, everyone!

‘Ello Cheetaaaahhss…

My apologies for not returning as promised last evening…. I was sooo dang tired and ended up crashing and then overslept this morning! Dang, I slept over 9 hours on a weekday!! Me thinks the smoke in air issue has something to do with making me feel cruddy and tired. Soooo, oversleeping meant no workout this am ….so I brought all my gym gear down the hill today and am going to attempt a workout when I get off work tonight…lol…chyeah, don’t laugh just yet, I may be hitting the Starbucks across the street on the evening break….

Ok, youse guys are all too chatty for me to even try and post the lengthy personals I’d love to in response, so I’ll just try to keep it to a minimum before I run outta time…lol

Cathy – That guy would have creeped me out as well! Thankfully you had your dad with you. Gatorade endurance ain’t too bad of stuff…that and the sharkies should do it for the marathon. I use my hand held bottle full of my own sport drink and sharkies and I use the water stops for the water…Hope your back feels better….and um, BWWAAHHHAAHHAA on the immodium mix up…. Well? It was funny…

Wendi!!!! "http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll149/glittergn/happybirthday/birthday004.gif"

Hope you enjoy your day!

Wendy lou – yap, I really hate when the stuff goes poof before you can post it…I’ve done it once or twice and boy does it pizzz me off!

Gloria – way cool you finally got your ipod! Sometimes I wonder how I lived before I got mine! LOL Did you say you have CC8 or whatever all the hullabaloo has been about? Do you like it? Grace is sort of grating on my nerves lately….

Christine – I’ll be rootin’ for ya this weekend! DH would probably love that chicken recipe made with the breasts though. Dang, everyone tells me MY dog is spoiled! Sheesh, you and Jimmy got me beat by a long shot! And my dog IS spoiled! LOL

Carole – OMG, who turned up the furnace??!?!?!? I know it usually is way hotter where you are too…ya, I drink loads of water as well! Glad you had a good massage – I get to go tomorrow am! Yay!

Lorie – WOW, your neice and nephew are adorable! Nice photos! You’re gonna LOVE Aruba! Keep in mind it is the desert of the Caribbean so it is flat but lots of palm trees and turquoise beaches….I also liked Bonaire! Hope you get to snorkel…you’ll feel like you’re swimming in a huge aquarium!

Jackie – Girl, that steam and Jacuzzi are the best part of the gym! So refreshing after all that hard work! I wish I could get DH to go with me! Although sometimes I do feel like just getting the heck outta there and not fussing with all the changing…usually when I have errands to get done though…Ok, now you got me looking at Jillian micheals 30 day shred….lol…

Well, how’s that for super fast posting during lunch, eh? I’m not going back to proof so please excuse any typos or grammatical infractions…lol

Have a great rest of the day..HEY WAIT! Today is Tuesday! Why are we posting in Wednesday already, Cathy?...hmm?...lol…must have been that immodium….

Posh :7

POSH :: *lol* I thought the Immodium mixup was hysterical myself...And now about the day of the week. :7 Sheesh, gettin' ahead of myself, aren't I? Guess this is what happens when I don't have to be anywhere important! I thought it was Wed. the whole freakin' day. *lol*...Like that idea for the handheld...Mmm, Starbucks. Have a caramel latte for me!

Evening ladies!

I figure I'll catch up with personals now cuz my Wednesday (the, ahem, *real* Wednesday ;)) is going to be craaaaaaaaazy x(. I'm going to try to get a run in before work in the morning but that may be tough as I really do need to be in by 7...but I'm going to give it a shot or I fear the beating I may get from Jackie's SS .

Had a nice rest of the day...nice lunch followed by the most decadent chocolate mousse, cheescake, and dark chocolate truffle concoction you ever tasted. Hey, it's bday cake so no cals, right :p???? Went to the driving range and was very pleasantly surprised at how consistent my swing is getting so that made me happy. Gettin ready to hunker down for Hell's Kitchen in a bit.

Cathy - Oh, you're too funny! I just do what I have enough energy for. Great workout for ya today! Sorry about your DVD player though...never fun x(. Ugh, so sorry about your $$$ visit to the eye doc today ;(, but lol about the Foreigner. I can't believe no one picked up the day goof sooner...too funny.

Gloria - Great job with BC! Sorry yu are having issues with your car again :(. I hope it's easily fixed, this time. Elk, huh? I'm not sure I could do that. Enjoy!

Jackie - Ah, I thought that might have been J. Michaels. I think I may have seen a clip of that on my InDemand thingy. The sad part about the barnwork is that I don't mind *that* part of the job...it's the riding and other BS that I despise. Today was the first time I had seen the new BBC...which I think I might like better than the academy series, but I've got enough Cathe to keep me busy. Oooh, great job on the speed ladder today!

Lorie - Holy super-fast Cheetah, Batman...youse was smokin !!!! I hope you made some headway on that "tan tolerance" lol.

Christine - Thanks for the recipe...will definitely put that one on the menu in the next week. I was thinking that it ws time to give my rosemary and oregano plants a "hair cut" ;). Speaking of, how does our beootiful boy look after his salon day? Fantabulous workout today...WTG!

Wendy - Awesome workout, dahling! Thanks hon! No sweat...like I said in the other post, *I* forgot about it last year until the next day...DOH! Nope, just doing the Friday classes...you'll be there, right?

Posh - Thanks for the giant bday wishes! I wouldn't be surprised if all that smoke has affected you...that cannot be good for ya :(. Sooooooo, did the Starbucks do the trick?

Gonna go curl up in bed and enjoy HK. Have a great night everyone!

Evening lovely Cheetahs!

Lorie - I can see the pics now. The kids are some cuties. Your nephew is a big boy but still so cute. You have a beautiful family.

Christine - Hope you're wrong about Kimo hair too. That would really be encouraging if it did grow back. Sounds like you're feeling much better. Good job on Have Mercy. Bet yoga will feel good tomorrow.

Wendy - Great mish mosh today! It's nice to be ahead of schedule and no rushing around. Talking to us is much better than doing housework. Yeah, you're never alone when you have a race. Good way to push yourself too.

Gloria - The speed ladder was created by our own Cheetah - Shelly. It's for the treadmill. Will be cheering for you on Saturday too. Wild elk steaks?? Hmmm, never had any of that. Does it taste anything like buffalo?

Cathy - Glad the back is feeling better. Definitely think Shred is worth the 8 bucks and I only did Level 1 and part of Level 2. You weren't kidding about getting your eyes checked. Laughing at what that $600 could buy. I'm right there with you on the immunity to enablement. I've done well I think.

Posh - You were tired but glad you were able to get some quality sleep. Yeah, I know the steam and jacuzzi are worth it. But, when I go with DBF to the gym, it's a 3 hour ordeal and I'm not fond of the locker rooms.

Wendi - Yes that sculpting stick is waiting for you. Make it a short run. Lunch with chocolate sounds yummy. Yeah no calories on your birthday. Did you enjoy Hell's Kitchen.

Need to get ready for bed. I'm tired after watering the plants today. Need rain badly.

Have a good night!

Jackie

Awe Cath, so sorry about your eyes and the cost of everything! Hope the surgery isn't too intense....so tomorrow's thread should read: "The REAL Humpday for CHEETAHS"...gotta have that Cheetah thing in there real big for our Wendy lou...lol

Wendi - Yum, that birthday dessert sounds divine...um, yeah, the shhhtarbucks is shhluuper delisshhhhushhh right now...iced too...to beat that 110 degree heat going on out there... only went across the street on a break for the coffee and I could feel the heat melting my mascara...

Jackie - oh, yah, the 3 hour ordeal kind...the gym i belong to now has a really super clean and big locker room and the jacuzzi and steam are coed and really clean as well...otherwise I wouldn't be a messin' round in there.. ;-) By the way, gotta give the kudos to the USPS for all that Frank stuff!! Got my latest Sinatra CD, stamps, and the envelope thingeys last week...lol..

ok, a little over an hour and i'm outta here to try the gym after work...hmmm...may not get home til around 10pm! (i get off work at 8pm). It will be interesting to see who hangs out at my gym in the evenings...my guess it is all the local teens and young 20 somethings...we'll see....they'll probably think, "oh no, here comes some old fat lady" when i go in the jacuzzi...lol

Have a good night ya'll!

Posh

Cathy: Thanks for cheering us on. :) Good luck with the ipod! I have been on itunes support a lot lately. It is frustrating with the car. I will call the shop first thing in the morning. I pulled over and just took a walk when it was really hot on the guage. I forgot my cell phone this morning and DH felt bad when I told him I had to wait around for it to cool off a little. He usually takes it fishing, since I get better gas mileage, but didn't tonight. Tutoring went well. This kid has a great personality and I love hanging out at the library. Yikes on the glasses and surgery! What about your insurance? Here in MI we have it pretty decent with that.

Posh: My legs were lead when I did CC8 for the first time. I did not love it. But, I am one who needs to do things a few times to make a firm decision. Everyone else on the boards rave over it. Grace has been bothering me a bit too. Sorry about all the respiratory crap you are dealing with. I had asthma attacks at one point in my life. They are not pretty. We were living in our college town in a house that had an electric furnace and it did a number on me. I have not had one since I left there about 10 years ago. I understand your pain. It was so bad I didn't have insurance and went to the clinic anyway. EXPENSIVE, but worth it.

Wendi: I am not a big fan of red meat, but elk and antelope are YUMMY! Out in Montana that is what's on the menu at a BBQ. They know how to cook it. DH actually hunted and shot elk out there. They are beasts to get down from the mountains. I can see how it would not be appealing though. I am off to bed too.

My walking partner just called. We are walking tomorrow at 5:30. I have to go to bed. I have not gotten up that early in a while. Good night ladies! :)
