Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle?

Hi,

I have seen some mention of this book (BFFM) on these boards, and am thinking of purchasing it, but would like to get some opinions on what others here think of his methods for fat/weight loss. I have a very stubborn last 15 or so pounds, mostly around my middle, that I'm trying to get rid of.

I have come to really trust the opinions of the people on this board, thanks for any insight you all can provide. :)

i read about it on this forum too and debated for a while. i bought it, read it and have been steadily losing since. he has some real good things to say, explains things really well, and is motivational. i've only incorporated a few of his suggestions and it's working. i feel that as i progress i'll be able to incorporate more and more. i find myself going back and reading certain sections over and get different things from it.
it didn't disappoint me.
hope that helps.

I like that it is a lifestyle eating plan. Not a DIET, not a quick fix--a lifestyle eating plan. So many people diet and completely go back to old, bad eating habits and always end up gaining the weight back and never changing what they should in the first place. I personally love the book.

Thanks for taking the time to answer! I just ordered it, it's a lot of reading, I'm not a quick reader, so instead of doing what I always do (jump around to the good parts and try to jump right in without having all the details) I'm going to give myself the time to read and absorb this and start applying his principles slowly.

I'm thinking of putting it on CD and trying to get it printed at a Kinko's or something, it's too many pages to print at home.
