I was doing Burn Sets this morning and started thinking about an article Cathe had posted (and a similar article I read elsewhere) about gaining strength and not size. I can't remember which article gave more specifics but it said lift heavier, with less reps/sets but go shy of failure to achieve this.
The next time I do Burn Sets, instead of doing 3 sets of 10 (or 2 sets x 10 + last set TF), I'm going to do 3 sets of 5 reps instead with heavier weights and not go to failure the last set. Just thought I'd share the idea!
