Good morning--Just checking in to see if you all are still interested in checking in? How often? For anyone new, we are trying to get at group of Cathe fans from Wisconsin together to check in, join us!

I had a good weekend but it was so hot yesterday. Got a run in Saturday am before it poured rain. This morning was a short run and then PP for weights. I was out of the Cathe game for a few months, so I am getting my strength back. It's getting easier. I have really been focusing on eating well the past couple of weeks. It's amazing how much better I feel with eating right and resuming my workouts! More energy, sleep better, very few headaches! I started a new job in June and was so stressed and unfortunately let my diet and workouts suffer. No more!

Anyway, hope no one minds I got this started today! I hope to hear from you all!

p.s. Laura, I am so glad you are enjoying your Cathe workouts and that we now share that common! We totally should go on the next Cathe road trip! I will give you a call soon!
 
Buff badger checking in,
Over the week end I had to work so all I did was chest/back that I had recorded on FitTV. I ate ok over the weekend. I am trying to eat better while I am ate work, while i am not at home it is so much easier to eat better. Today I am doing either Low Max, Imax2 or cardio with weights. I have to wait till my son takes a nap since I over slept this am and was not able to w/o before he woke up.

Thea-I am glas that you are getting back into Cathe and eating better...it sounds like you are having some good results. talk to ya soon


Fellow Buff Badgers-is this a good name for our group...I like it...please cheack in and let us know what you think.
 
Hello buff badgers! I'm so glad you got this post started! I really slacked this weekend. I didn't get an "official" workout in all weekend. I went to a birthday party with my 11 month old on Saturday. There were 15 kids from the ages for 9 months to 3 years! I think that counted for my workout on Saturday, that is for sure. I was exhausted when I got home.
Anyway, back on track today. I plan on doing PUB and hopefully I can get my hubby to do it with me. Last time I got him to do this one with me and during the biceps, he stopped and looked at me with a surprised look on his face and said "Boy, this is a really good workout!" Of course I laughed and said "told ya so!" Anyway, that is what is planned for today!

I'll join in too. This is a great idea. I've been working out really hard for the past few weeks, trying to find the right combination of cardio and weights that will hopefully make a difference for me. Saturday I did the Gauntlet mid-morning, which was rough because of the heat. We don't have air conditioning :) Sunday was a rest day. This morning I did Hardcore Extreme #3, the intervals/legs workout. I ran out of time before I could do any ab work. We'll see how motivated I am after work; I may do some upper body work later.

Hi, everyone!

Yesterday I did KPC and boy did I sweat! During those pikes at the end I was watching 2-3 drops of sweat per pike! I am starting the Hardcore Fat Blasting Rotation today. Did Imax3 this morning (with extra 10-15 second pauses where needed ;-) ) and will do a Coremax segment tonight. I didn't have enough time this morning to do both.

I also started back on the Body for Life eating program again with the 6 mini meals a day consisting of a protein and carb. I find this works best for me.

Ellen - I'm scared of Hardcore Extreme - mine isn't even opened yet and it's in weeks 3 and 4 of the rotation. I may have to modify a bit. . .

Robin - I wish I could get my hubby to do Cathe. He works out at the Y but so many times things come up and he misses workouts. It would be so convenient for him to use my Cathe workouts.

Hi Sue,
I've only done the one workout on Hardcore Extreme, but I really like it. Of course, I take breaks for water and air. It's just enough of Imax 3 and Kick Max to not be too overwhelming. It's great. I may try the circuit workout this week sometime.

I like the name Buff Badgers too--should we keep it? How often should we check in? We could have a daiy thread and everyone could check in if able?

I want to be Buff...and I'm a Badger - do I qualify???

I am working on getting back into fitness and eating better and would love a group to check in with. I live in Milwaukee - right on the edge of Greenfield - moved here about 2 years ago from the Madison area. I have motivational problems, but I am really hoping to get myself back on track in the coming weeks! It's really been downhill since returning from our honeymoon in April, and I need to get going again!

I certainly don't claim to be buff but I want to be buff, too! Actually, I probably am buff but surroundeded by layers of fluff! (or puff?) ha ha

Another Milwaukee gal, yeah! We get enough of us and if we ever decide to get together, it'll have to be in our area. ;-)

I am from the Green Bay/Manitowoc area. I posted earlier but I am back to tell ya that I did LowMax and it was great. I love to sweat.
Daily or weekly check in? Doesn't matter to me.
 
Hi, Buff Badgers is a good name. Over the weekend I did legs and glutes and plb stability ball segment. Sunday is my day off, but today I did gym style legs and a premix of cardio & weights. I am actually working on one of Cathes rotations from Aug. 2004. It's nice to hear from all of you. I am located in Rice Lake, 1 hour north of Eau Claire. I guess I am out of the way a bit.
 
Hi buff badgers is a good name. I am currently trying one of Cathes old rotations for lower body. I am in Rice Lake, 1 hour north of Eau Claire. I am thankful for air condidioning. I'm not sure leg focus is for me, I don't seem to have any days I'm not sore. Take care. Karen
