Good Morning!

Saturday I did MMA Boxing. I added some of my own cardio when she did the lower body portion and I added some extra cardio on at the end. Sunday was my no workout day. This morning I did Meso 2 Disc 22 Chest, Shoulders, and Tri's. Gotta love those drop sets.

Afternoon,

On Friday I did Peak Fit Pure Cardio, Jillian's Kickbox FastFix Workout 1, and PiYo Lower Body. Saturday was Meso 2 Disc 15 Back and Biceps and Bootcamp Abs. Sunday was Peak Fit Pure Stength, and Kickbox Fastfix Workout 2. I'm going to change up my rotation a little, by doing the Meso weight workouts and then incorporate the Peak workouts. The Peak workouts really do something great for my waistline.

Brenda, Great job on making that MMA Boxing workout yours! I love the Meso 2 workouts for that reason also. Just makes you feel strong when you can lift a heavier weight. I was sure struggling on the last biceps curls on the ball. Didn't think that I would make it to eight!

This morning I did my own low and some high interval training.

Laurie - I have one of Michelle Peak Cardio Interval workouts. I've only done it a couple of times. My left hip does do so well with a lot of the moves. Hopefully once I have a new hip and heal, I'll be able to get some of the workouts out that I haven't done in such a long time because of the pain in my hip. Gosh, I'll feel like I got a bunch of new workouts after not doing some of the for such a long time. ;)

Yesterday was my rest day, and have to say that I think that my body needed the rest.

Brenda, I love how you make workouts yours! I have the whole Peak Fit set, and I really do enjoy them. I bet it will be a ton of fun when you are able to do those workouts. I just wish that I had a ton more time to do all the ones that I want to do. :D

Hi ladies! Nice weekend. Saturday I ran 3 miles and Sunday was Piyo Sculpt . Monday, unfortunately, I had a stomach bug that my daughter had. Ugh. :(
Tuesday was Piyo lower and upper defined. Today was a 3 mile run.
Joined a Clean Eating Challenge on Facebook and am loving it. I have more energy and am not hungry! Want to keep it up for Cathes new series! :)

Laurie, what is the Peak series? You sound like you've been working out hard!

Brenda, How long is the 'down time' after surgery?

Weds I did Meso 2 Disc 23 (I think) legs. I had to change out one of the leg exercises for something that wasn't as painful. Today I did Hardstrikes (cardio only) the 3 punching tabatas, and core 1.

Laurie - How do you think Peak Fit compares to Cathe's workouts?

Susan - They say I may be off of work for 1-3 weeks depending how I'm doing. Since we don't have short term disability by me, I'm using my vacation time so I have almost 2 weeks off for this. Doc warned me that it may be up to 6 months before I can do the high impact workouts again. I was kind of expecting that so I wasn't shocked. I have a feeling I'll be pulling out some Leslie walking workouts for a while and I'm okay with that. I'm looking forward to the day I can get back into Cathe's cardio workouts.

Hello Ladies. Still can't figure out what is wrong with the app on my smartphone and I have had problems logging in on the computer at home. Not sure why my service has been slow lately. With that being said, I rarely get to the desk top at home and when I do it needs to be quick. I really miss the app on my phone. Does anyone of you have a Samsung Galaxy and having problems with the Cathe app. Anyway, I did about 3 workout last week but can't remember what and I haven't worked out at all this week.

Brenda---your recovery time is not that bad. When will you have the procedure again? I know you miss your high impact workouts but you will be return to them slowly but surely.

Wednesday was STS Meso 3 Week 1 Chest & Back, yesterday was STS Plyo Legs week 1 and workout #12 of Ab Hits. Will be by myself tonight, so I can do my workouts without having to get dinner ready right afterward.

Susan, Great job on joining the Clean Eating Challenge and the workouts. Do you have a hard time with that because of your family. I find that the family will eat clean, but then (because they have jobs and money) these snacks start showing up. It really makes it hard some days. ;) I'm glad that it is working out for you, and I know that I want to get to that point for the new series also. I was looking at the Nutrition Guru's that Cathe had posted, but that is $97 and that is apparently a discount. I just have to make the commitment and stick to it. The Peak Fit series is done by Michelle Dozois, and is an 8 week program. She does have some clips on her web site on what the workouts look like. The workouts have anywhere between 10 and 8 circuits that are about 5 min. each. They take you through Base Camp (easy) Ascent (slightly harder and low impact) Climb (High Impact) to 1 min of Peak. The Peak portion is just one exercise as fast as you can go. Like tuck jumps. The series has Strength, Metabolic and cardio workouts.

Brenda, Good job on the workouts. I'm guessing that you might be able to do some upper body weight work also? Probably something light vs having to pick up heavy with your legs. I think that whatever you are able to do (with doc's okay) is great. I would say that for intensity Michelle and Cathe are the same. I like Michelle's hi/lo better than Cathe's. Weight work I give that one to Cathe, not saying that Michelle's don't work the body good, but I see better results with Cathe. I'm not a huge fan of the Core Dynamic workout either, just doesn't flow very well. Wish I could get all the workouts in that I like, but there isn't time, and my body couldn't take it. :)

heartymax, Nope I don't have the Galaxy. I'm a iphone person. ;) We had problems with our road runner being slow, and it was the line to our house. I'm hoping you are able to get the problem fixed.

Hi there. Thursday was Piyo Hardcore today I got sick again :( . Tomorrow I have my 5k. :) I am feeling better now and will be going to bed shortly to get plenty of rest.
Brenda, Well you are very healthy so hopefully you will heal quickly.

Laurie, thankfully my DH is also trying to eat healthy but not the kids, they still 'need' their snacks. The weekend will be my true test! :)

Hearty, we've been having slowness too, hubby says it's probably our cable.
