Hi ladies! I hope you had a great weekend. Nothing much happened with us. We took DS to Train Fest at the state fair grounds yesterday.

Saturday I did just the cardio from Cardio and Weights. Sunday was a rest day.

Today I did my first New Rules of Lifting for Women (NROLW) workout. It's pretty similar to D2S. I think I'll like it. Today was squats, push-ups, rows, step ups, and prone jackknife on the ball. It went by really fast, and I still had some energy left, so I did my own finisher of 60 kettlebell swings. I plan to just do the workouts at home for a couple weeks, and if I feel like I need to join a gym, I will.

My weekend was nothing too exciting either. Saturday I did Travel Fit for the first time. It's a pretty good workout. Sunday was my rest day. Today I did Flex Train for the first time and loved it. Wish there would have been more bicep work in it though. Next time might add some extra on myself. Overall I really liked the workout.

Gotta fly.. have a meeting to go to.

My weekend was little sluggish (TTOM). Made it to church Sunday and rested afternoon. We had a guest youth minister and he spoke nicely. Yesterday the boys and I helped hubby with some yard work. The oldest did a better job mowing the back yard so progress has been made since he started late summer.

This morning was Muscle Endurance.
 
Good morning. I have nice sore hamstrings from yesterday's workout :D I just did Step Blast without the finished product/blast section at the end. I had sort of forgotten how super fun that workout is.

Brenda- Glad you liked Flex Train. It's funny, I was thinking that I wanted to spend less time in biceps :). I know you love working yours. I actually traded Travel Fit on the VF boards. I thought it was a decent workout, but didn't see myself reaching for it much.

Heartymax- I can't wait till my DS can do stuff around the house :D I really like Muscle Endurance. I used to do the upper body premix a lot.

Hello!

This morning I did Hardstrikes followed by the some of the warm up and the floor cardio from Cardio Leg blasts.

Hearty - I wasn't able to get any yard work done over the weekend, too windy by us. All my stuff that I would have been cutting back would have blown all over the place.

Sam - As you can tell I didn't reach for Travel Fit much either since that was the first time I've done it considering how long I had it. I'll hang onto though because I do think it would be something I'd take along with me when/if I travel. At home though, probably won't grab it often since there are so many other workouts to choose from. :)

This morning was Afterburn. That usually gets me in the butt and legs. Still love that workout though.

Been a long time and long week. Time to hit the hay.

Hi ladies! I forgot to check in yesterday. I did Phase 1B of NROLW. Deadlifts, shoulder presses, pullovers, lunges, and ball crunches. I did a mini made-up hiit workout at the end. I'm taking an extra rest day today. I can't seem to shake this almost-cold that I have and I'm pretty sore, so maybe a day off will help with both.

Brenda- I'm sure Travel Fit is coming in handy for you now! It does seem like a long week. I kept thinking yesterday was Thursday. I was thinking recently that I hadn't done Afterburn in awhile. That could be a good Saturday workout, I think.

Good Afternoon!

This morning I did X10 Hi/Lo, Med Ball abs from STS, and then Stretch Max. I'm really trying to have one day where I either do yoga or Stretch max. Felt good though to get a little of everything in.

Sam - Yes, with having limited space, Travel fit is going to come in handy. Supposedly the drywallers are supposed to be done this week. We still never got quotes from the person that will prime, texture, and paint though. I think it'll still be a few weeks yet.

BTW, this weekend I'm going to a Fitness Coach Specialist Training in Brookfield. It's both Sat & Sun fromn 8:30 until 5:30. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. Since I'm taking all the classes, I'll get a Fitness Coach Specialist certificate out of it. One of the classes on Sunday I get to play with new equipment. With having that going on all weekend, I took vacation days on Monday and Tuesday to get my weekend stuff done.

Good morning and happy Friday! No workout yet today, but I'm in my workout clothes. I still can't shake this cough, and I'm still feeling sore from my new workouts. I think I'm going to do some easy step and see if I want to do anything else after that.

Brenda- Sounds like fun! Have a great time playing with some new equipment. You'll be very close to me. We live near where Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and Brookfield all sort of run into each other.

This morning I decided to give Slide-n-Glide a try again. I have only done that workout once and I only did the cardio at that time. Today I did the entire thing. It wasn't too bad. I lack some coordination on the discs though. :)

The mudding and sanding of the dry wall should be done this weekend. Today we had someone come in to quote the priming, texture, and paint. We'll see how expensive that is. If we give the work to the guy that's quoting it, he wouldn't be able to start for another two weeks because he's gone deer hunting. Ahhhh... I just want it done.

Sam - Hope you get rid of that cough soon. My sinuses have been bothering my for the last couple of days. I just hope it doesn't get any worse. Especially considering what I have going on this weekend.
