Happy Friday, everyone! Yesterday I did 4DS Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. I'm really feeling it today. Laurie, thanks again for recommending these premixes. They fit right in with what I'm trying to do these days.
I'd like to do some cardio today during DS's nap
Brenda- Ice packs. That's one I haven't tried yet. I'll give it a shot the next time I'm having a bad night. My mom's RLS is chronic. She has to take meds every day by 3 pm or she can't even sit still to relax in the evenings. Hers gradually got worse over the years; I hope mine doesn't do the same.
Laurie- They charge per piece for shipping if you get a sectional. I calculated about $100 for what I want, which isn't so bad when the initial price is so low to begin with. It's called homereserve.com if you're interested. Not fancy stuff or anything, but DH and I don't see the point in getting fancy furniture when we have a little one and three pets.
Susan- Have fun cleaning and organizing. I love the feeling of a good purge
Hi Sue!
I think I'm done lifting heavy for legs for awhile. I liked the way my legs looked when I finished my Slim Series rotation last summer, and that's all unweighted or very light weight squats, lunges, and floor work. I tend to be thick-limbed and while heavy weight work makes my arms look better, it tends to make my legs look thicker. Plus, I just really dread all-lower-body workouts.
Anyway, so my plan is to focus on moderate to heavy weight for upper body and light to no weight for lower body. That could take the form of Tonique, Slim Series, or doing Cathe's lower body workout without heavy weights. We shall see. (Also, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time
)
Have a great weekend!
