Buff Badgers Week of Feb. 28

Hey! This morning was cardio kicks...forgot how much I like that one! Just watched a clip of supreme 90 and am going to wait for Laurie´s review, but looks like it may be my next purchase! So, does the 90 mean another 3 month rotation? Does he tell you the weight to be used or is there a 1RM thing?

Laurie, I find that days that I just sit around I am more tired than other days.

Susan, over our spring break (next week) I´m planning on trying out some different pilates to see which ones I´d like to work into my rotations. Our library has one of the exhale pilates vids...are you familiar with those?

Karen, if it is below 19 I usually won´t run, but then I haven´t run much this winter anyway. I mentioned that I´m doing the Jeff Galloway run/walk and interestingly enough my times are better. My family thinks I could do a half and with that method I probably could, but if I do I want to do the Disney one which would be a year from now...and then I´d be a year older

Sue, enabler!!! I have the totalfitnessdvds site open even as I type this!!

Heartymax, glad your hamstring is feeling better. I´m going to have to try that premix!!

Just finished Step Only Premix from Intensity followed by Butts and Gutts Stability Ball Abs. I have enjoyed this recovery week from the heavy lifting. My body needed it.

Karen---you best believe that I was being sarcastic when I said I was introducing my friend to Cathe in a friendly way when I gave her High Reps. I do love the workout---but by no way is it easy. My friend does her own thing when lifting but I could tell that from talking to her that she needed help with form and would learn about different exercises that she could do if she had a DVD. After doing High Reps, she said she couldn't believe how intense the workout was and had never done so many reps at one time.

Susan---you must be loving those compliments you are getting from toning up.

Laurie----looking forward to your reviews of your new rotation.

Hi lala and Sue!

Have a great weekend. I will check back in later to read what is going on with you ladies. My plan is to do Jillian Shred on Saturday and rest on Sunday to get ready for MONDAY----Back to STS! I noticed that Meso 2 that you work each muscle to completion before moving on. This will definitely be a challenge with heavy weights. Legs move to workout 2 instead of 3.

Morning Ladies,

Disc 2 Back & Triceps for me.

Lala, Yep it is 90 Days, he does not idicate any weight to use during the workout. He does say things like use a lighter weight or heavy weight. I'm going to base my weight selection on my M2 weights. He tells you to do 8-12 reps.

heartymax, I think that you will really enjoy the change of pace with the Meso 2 workouts, that phase was my favorite. Glad you enjoyed your recovery week.

I will probably not be posting on Monday, I have to head up to northern WI for my Uncle's funeral.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Hi,

Today I did STS total body minus the abs because I had a chiro because my back went out. Lucky to do the workout at all.

Laurie, sorry about your uncle. Have a safe trip.

Heartymax, looks like Intensity is taking over Cardio Fusions place in your love cardio fest. Good idea to get her some good instruction on lifting weights--Cathe is sure good at that.

Lala, did you have to buy the Jeff Galloway program? Where can I look at it. I have always wanted to do a marathon running/walking may just be the key.

Laurie, you definitely are the rotation queen.

Susan, nice job on the results. Not as much in the abs though. I need some work there.

Hi Sue, hope you are doing well.

The kids are going to skiing races both Sat. and Sun. and my two DD and I are going to a bridal shower tomorrow. My DD is maid of honor. Very cool.

Have a great weekend.

Heartymax - Can't wait to hear what you think of Meso 2. I have 1 week plus left of Meso 1 and I'm already looking forward to recovery week. :D I'm lifting much heavier than I have in a long time and I like how "worked out" my muscles feel afterwards.

Susan - Bummer that she's out of stock of Supreme 90. Guess I was lucky to get mine before she ran out. You'll have to keep checking back to see when she has them again or maybe you'll luck out like Laurie and find them locally. After hearing about your great results I've got to try Pilates again. I'm thinking my recovery week would be a great time.

Laurie - Sorry to hear about your uncle. My condolensces. I agree - you ARE the Rotation Queen!

Lala - It's funny to be an Enabler of Supreme 90 when I've only tried 1 of the dvds but for $20 even if you don't like all of them, it's still a good deal. And from what I've read people do like them.

Karen - Hope the Chiro made your back feel better. Enjoy your Bridal Shower.

I did KPC Cardio Conditioning premix last night and STS Disc 8 (back, triceps) this morning. Had to get up at 4:30 again this morning to finish in time. Ugh! Tomorrow is cardio (don't know what yet) and Sunday is Disc 9 (legs).

Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Have a few minutes left of my lunch break before my last two classes of the next week

Today was disk 30...and yes, I did all 4 sets :)

Karen, I first heard of Jeff Galloway from this website:
http://motiontraxx.com/
it is free downloads and one of them is Galloway´s 1:1 Then I downloaded a book of his onto my kindle and have been reading it. It´s funny how, although I feel wimpy walking, my time has improved!

Laurie, I am sorry to hear about your uncle.
I would say that M2 is my favorite, also. Thanks for the info on S90.

Sue, Are you taking a rest day during the week? I know what you mean about your muscles feeling really "worked"...don´t you just feel so strong??!

Heartymax, your recovery week actually sounds pretty intense! I have 2 more weeks of my undulating rotation and then will take my rest week...it consists of catching up with my TV shows ! Funny, though, I usually lose weight during that week...go figure!

Have a great weekend everyone...this starts my spring break...so needed!!!

Hello! Today is Core Synergistics. My calf is still really sore for some reason so I may have to modify a couple things. My weekend is very quiet! First weekend in about 2 months that I have no plans! Saturday I have the elliptical and pilates abs scheduled and Sunday is my rest day. :)

Lala, I am jealous that you have your Spring Break so soon! Ours is not until the week of the 21st. I have not heard of that pilates workout. I saw a lot on that totalfitness website that I may try. One was a compilation of other pilates workouts. It was called The Best Workouts Ever Pilates or something like that...

Sue, I will keep looking back online but think I may look aorund town Saturday or Sunday while I am out and about.

Heartymax, Wow, you had quite the "rest" week! ;)

Karen, I noticed it in my abs as well. My stomache is just flat and my pants have gotten baggier in the stomache/waist. That's neat that your DD is maid of honor!

Laurie, sorry to hear about your uncle. I hope you have a safe trip.

Okay, gotta go get some house wrok done!

Have a nice weekend! Susan
