I forgot to say I was going to be out of town for a week. We got back last night. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. We traveled to GA to visit our family. My eating was horrible. I have gained about 5 pounds and most of that was last week but not all. It is also TTOM today but either way, I know I better get focused:).

Did 45 minutes of cardio fusion this morning followed by 150 walking lunges and planks. My core is not nearly as strong as it wS a few months ago. At least I know this is temporary.
 
Hi ladies. I hope you had a great week. I did not work out once, but I am completely okay with that ;) It's strange... I ate terribly, and didn't work out, but all my clothes fit better. I think I retain a lot of water when I lift.

Anyway, I decided to ease into things slowly today, so I did a Jessica Smith YouTube video- Cardio Bootcamp Boogie. I should have realized from the title that it would be high impact, but I didn't, and I wasn't wearing the appropriate undergarments for high impact :p, so I modified a bit. I definitely worked up a sweat. I think I might stick with her workouts this week before I get back to Cathe and NROLW.

Heartymax- I'm so happy I threw away my scale. Ignorance is bliss :D. You'll get back to where you want to be. Once your body knows what it's like to be in great condition, it doesn't take long at all to get back to it.

I decided to do Xtrain 30 day undulating rotation. Today was HC followed by Burnsets chest shoulders and back. My plan is to do HC twice a week during this rotation. I just don't feel like committing to a 90 day rotation right now. I feel so much better after exercising yesterday and eating more veggies and fruit and no junk food.

Happy New Year. DH and I went out to dinner last night to celebrate our 19th anniversary.

Started my new year with Cardio Leg Blast. This work out had me wiped out early. I had to take a 60 second rest break but managed to get through. How easily did I forget how tough this workout is.
 
I am having some serious DOMS from my workouts this week. My abs are sore from HC the other day. I hope to do HC again on Saturday. Today was Xtrain Burn sets biceps and triceps and core 1.
 
Good morning! I had no workout yesterday. It was a lazy day. On New Year's Eve I did a PRS Timesaver premix. Today is my bad day of TTOM, so I just did a Jessica Smith walking workout on YouTube. It was just what I needed. I feel so much better.

Hearty- The 30 Day rotation sounds like a great way to start the year. I still haven't quite decided what I'm going to do after this easing-back-into-it phase. I was going to go right back to lifting heavy with just a little high intensity cardio thrown in. But I'm enjoying these gentler workouts the past few days. I might just stick with them for awhile.

Hi Ladies!!

Sounds like everyone had a nice holiday season. Mine was very nice. I so enjoyed the time off from work. Today was back to the grind though.

I kept up with my workouts through the holidays. I did pretty good on the eating. I gave into some junk but overall I thought I did pretty good. I don't remember what I all did last week. This week was Monday was Travel Fit, Tuesday was Hardstrikes with 3 tabata's from Tabatacize, Weds was Flex Train and this morning I did All Out Low Impact HiiT followed by Stretch Max.

I'm still not back down in the basement yet. It seems to be one thing on top of another that is delaying my workout area from getting completed. I so badly want to do some of the other workouts but I can't. I'm trying to be patient but my patience is wearing thin.

DH's New Year's resolution is to work on getting healthy. He wants to lose about 30 lbs. I know he can do it. He's done it before but then fell back into his old bad habits. I see how his parents are and I don't want him to end up like that. I hope he follows through with this.

Hi Sam - Not a bad idea easing back into the workouts. Glad you're enjoying the gentler workouts.

Hi Hearty - Happy Anniversary!! When I did one of the 90 day rotations, it was hard sticking with it. I prefer the 30 day rotations.

Brenda----I've read great things on the forum about Flex Train. It seems to be the favorite of the new workouts.

We got about 4 inches of snow last night and is supposed to have strong winds today.

I subbed cardio on the elliptical for Ride today. I did cardio on Monday but decided to start the Xtrain rotation on Tuesday. Therefore, I will do Hardstrikes and HC tomorrow and skip the AOLH since I did cardio Monday. That will still be my 6 days and I can rest on Sunday.

This morning I did X10 Fat Burning Circuit and then a little over 1/2 of Athletic Training. It was a good mix of things.

Hearty - I do really like Flex Train. I can see reaching for that one quite often.
