Hi Ladies!

I wanted to touch base and give you an update. Physical therapy has been going extremely well. Had follow up with my doc on the 17th and he said I'm doing exceptionally well. I don't need to continue PT after the first of the year. I can continue doing what I'm doing at home on my own. Which I'm good with.

Last week Thurs at 1:30 am I ended up in the ER in massive pain in my lower abdominal area. Long story short, I have kidney stones. 3 on the right side which are not creating my problem and I have at least two on the left side and one of those is the problem child. I'm on some medicine that is supposed to help expand the tube for the stone to pass easier. Started that today. I have a follow up with this on 12/31 and if the stone doesn't pass on it's own, they are doing surgery on 1/31 to bust the one up that is causing problems. Then we need to figure out what kind of stone it is and see if we can figure out what is causing me to have all these kidney stones. I'm hoping with this medicine that it'll pass on its own.

How are you guys enjoying the new workouts? I'm still a ways away from getting into any of that. Haven't even previewed any of them with all that's been going on and trying to get ready for the holidays.

In case I'm not on before Christmas, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!

Take Care!
Brenda

Brenda--glad your PT report is great and you are progressing well. Sorry about the kidney stones as I have heard how painful that is.

I have been MIA practically all month. Just giving myself a mental break from the forum. I was also sick with a nasty cold for a week. I noticed my left hand is experiencing some pain so I am keeping an eye on it.

My new workouts are still in shrink wrap. I have not previewed them either. I was sick when they arrived.

I will be back in the groove of things soon. I have really enjoyed this time off without guilt.
