Today will be Cardio Kicks and Prevention Belly, Butt & Thighs.

Yesterday my oldest DD interviewed me for a paper she has to do for Phy Ed. It was a two page paper on my sports career. (I had to open the treasure chest on this one, I couldn't remember half of what happened. Good thing I had those yearbooks.) I never had to do a paper in Phy Ed. She got two pages out of it, but man was that difficult. I made sure I included my current fitness practices, so that they could understand that sports in school helped in a huge way.

Jill, hope tax season goes quickly for you, WAIT! I don't have mine done yet!!!!!

Marie, my DH has been sniffing, and coughing for about 2 weeks. I guess last night he had a really bad coughing fit. I'm guessing I'm immune to his noises, because I didn't hear anything.:D

Hi Laurie and all those who are to follow!

Today was Power and 35 minutes on the NordicTrack. Last night for our daughter's Brownie troop they had a "World Thinking Event",. Each troop was to bring foods from various countries for us to try. Needless to say I went over the calorie limit for the day! OOoppps!:) Today will be cleaner....

I am wishing I had gotten some of that stuff they sell for people flying, etc to boost their immune system/resistance to germs in the air. Can't think of the name but it would have been a good experiment - in hind's sight. No workout last night or this morning due to this budding cold. I brought my stuff with me for spin but no decision yet if I am going to attempt it. I thought I would see how I feel at noon. I am at work though with my Zicam chewables, dayquil tabs, tylenol etc.

Laurie - a sport's career sounds so impressive!

Happy to say our taxes are done. We had them done by someone this year since we bought the house and I really enjoyed just dropping all the stuff off and picking it up. DH usually does them but I have to check his work so it is like doing them.

Susan - I have a Nordic Track and really need to start using it more. It is a good workout but right now I still have some boxes piled in front of it. Need to deal with those soon. :(
 
Good morning,

I had a not-so-good run last night so I figured my body was telling me something, so I went ahead and took my rest day today. I got about 20 minutes into my run and my legs got really shaky; I think I just hadn't eaten enough. That's why ultimately I prefer running in the morning; for some reason, it doesn't bother me to have just a little bit of soy milk first thing in the morning, instead of a full meal, which I seem to need to exercise later in the day.

Back to class tonight! MATC was closed on Thursday because of the storm. I will be glad when I don't have to think about trig anymore. It's one subject that I really, really dislike.

Laurie, good idea to focus on your current fitness practices in relation to your past. I think the reason I've continued exercising for most of my life is because I got into a routine pretty young and played sports as well. That's one thing I hope to teach the kids I hope to have some day :)

Wow, Laurie - that's great that you have a sports career that could fill 2 pages! Mine wouldn't fill a Post-It! It would start and end with the "softball throw" in elementary school. My arms were about as big as swizzle sticks, so you can imagine how that went.

Susan - Sounds like it was a good feast with the Brownies! World cuisine sounds good - and so do brownies! :)

Marie - hope you get better soon. We're all battling slight colds ourselves. My DH is Zicam'ing it up to try to ward it off.

Ellen - Enjoy your rest day today. Good for you for listening to your body.

Last night was Legs & Glutes for me and then Section 3 from CoreMax. Section 3 is much less soul-crushing for me than Section 2.

Hi, BBs! Another quick post so I can do online research for our family vacation this year. Sounds like a few of you are battling colds so I hope you feel better soon. Did PS-CST + PS-BBA + 100 walking lunges this morning. I really like PS but sure am missing my other workouts!
