Morning BB's,

Today will be PLB / Abs / and Cardio from Power Circuit. I have some DOMS in my back from PUB last night. }(

Very cold this morning, had 8 below out by us this morning. x( Guess that is the joy we get for spending out lives in this wonderful state. :)

Sue, Glad you made it through those work outs and came out of it to tell us. Rythmic Step is one that I just haven't been able to get into. My feet just don't know what to do.

Jill, I haven't tried anything from Tracie Long. Might be tempted, I will have to see. :)

Have a great day!

Laurie

Morning BBs,

I slept in this morning. Just not feeling quite right this morning, kind of tired and achey, a little phlegmy too so hopefully the extra sleep fights it off. I am hoping to do SJ&P tomorrow.

Laurie, it is cold this morning! The snow has that particular "crunch" to it. Laurie, your workouts always look so efficient and are good combos--do you mind me asking if you are "in weight loss mode" or maintaining your weight? I am in weight loss mode myself and always look for cardio and weight combos that seem to work well and are efficient. Sorry if that is too nosey...

Have a great day everyone!

Hey Thea, Not to nosey at all, that is how we all learn. I am going more for the fat decrease, but along with the fat decrease comes a weight decrease also. I am at the last 5 lb range. :) Doing this my muscles have started to become more pronounced, and my strength has increased. I lift 4 days out of the week and do cardio 5 to 6 days a week depending on how I feel. When ever I do a lifting day I only do about 20 to 30 min of cardio. I like using Premixes, the CTX cardio, and running for this. I think I also need to add on one more day of abs. So far I have only been doing 2 days.

Now if I would eat clean all the time I would probably decrease my fat faster than I have. }( Here is what I do. If you want to see what I did specifically I can send you my work doc.

Day 1: Triceps/Biceps/Abs/30 min cardio
Day 2: Chest/Back/Shoulders / 30 min. cardio
Day 3: Cardio only
Day 4: Legs / 30 min. cardio
Day 5: Triceps/Biceps/Abs/30 min. cardio
Day 6: Cardio only/Legs Floorwork
Day 7: Stretch or Off

Day 1: Chest/Back/Shoulders/ 30 min. cardio
Day 2: Legs /Abs / 30 min. cardio
Day 3: Cardio only
Day 4: Triceps/Biceps/ Abs 30 min. cardio
Day 5: Chest/Back/Shoulders / 30 min. cardio
Day 6: Cardio only/Legs Floorwork
Day 7: Stretch or Off

I will be doing this for 12 weeks

Good morning,

Laurie, I like the workout schedule you provided. Maybe I'll try to adopt it too! I was actually thinking about starting a CTX and S&H/GS rotation, but maybe I'll try yours out first.

I woke up with a headache again today, so I just did yoga: Crunch Fat-Burning Yoga and Candlelight Yoga. I couldn't stay in bed because I had to get up and make my boyfriend's birthday cake since I have class tonight. There's nothing better than a little cake batter in the morning ;)

It's days like this that I wish it were easier (and cheaper) to get to Hawaii for a long weekend! The painful cold is hard to take sometimes.

Take care!

Ellen

Hi ladies.

I am about to go do a workout but thought I'd checkin quick first. Nothing to strenuous today---I'm either going to do Kathy Voights Burn and Firm or a Tamilee Webb Tighter Assets. I woke up with a sore throat this morning and fear I'm starting the cold that had my ds13 off of school for all of last week! :(

Laurie-you can see clips of the workouts on her site if you are interested. I really love her workouts; she has moves nobody else uses.

Thea-I hope you aren't getting sick, too. There seems to be a lot going around. Does anyone believe that loading up on Vitamin C helps at all?

Ellen-LOL @ the cake batter breakfast. :) Have fun with the birthday boy!

Well I'd better go workout before I get too lazy! Have a happy Tuesday ladies!

Jill - Awwwwww! Mace looks so cute....... I love T. Webb's Tighter Assets. It's a nice change of pace from Cathe.

Laurie - RS took a LONG time for me to learn. I tackled it section by section and eventually it clicked. What helped is knowing how to do those fast foot repeaters from Mindy Mylrea's Slammin' Sports. A lot of people have trouble with those. I think Mindy explained the move better than Cathe does.

Imax for me today. That's about all there is to say. Keep warm everyone!

Sue

Laurie, thanks for the workout schedule--looks awesome! Are you mostly using GS or CTX for weights as well? I have been thinking of doing the CTX series, but am unsure if this is enough to reach my goals?

Jill, very cute dog!!

:) Thea
