Today will be Imax3, 200 walking lunges, and 200 sit ups. At least it isn't 800 like last week! x(

Marie, I will be sewing the drapes myself. I have done our living rm drapes before and they turned out super. These will be even simpler. :) My computer is at work, and the Tech actually transfered all the files. This is a first for us, because we usually lose something in the process.

Getting my hair done after work! No more gray hair for another 6 weeks!

Good morning and the rest of the Badger Babes to follow. :)

I didn't get my workout in yesterday. :( I'm sort of on an every other day pattern here. But I'm losing so I guess that's okay. It's the best I can hope for this time of year. Today I want to do weights, so I'm trying a new workout; Jari Love's Get Ripped. It's supposed to be a toughie on Cathe's level-lighter weights with higher reps. My daily goal is for a noon workout, but it's tough and will probably be when Trav's bus comes. Taylor has an away game, so dinner will be easy for just the two of us, so I should have time.

LOL Laurie @ no more gray hair. I hear ya! I am seeing a few peeking through here and there. Ugh!

Hi All!
I did some pilates and abs last night and this morning was Tamilee Webb's Cardio Blast. Still feeling a little sore so wanted something not too intense. Tonight is spin class again.

Jill - I like the Jari Love workout but it is different than Cathe. She is filming more and the next one should be out either Feb or March. There will be several and each will be progressively harder from what I have heard.

Laurie - WOW- making your own drapes!!! I am so impressed. I now have you on a pedastal - super Mom, workout queen, and makes her own drapes!!!!!!
 
Good morning everyone! Sorry I have not posted in SOOOOOO long! I have had a bad case of the lazies, and thanks to Jill, she enouraged me to post again (thanks Jill!)

Have been doing the Kick Butt series from WHFN. So far I really like the videos. I did Push-Pull last night and really liked the workout.

And, I can't believe I didn't tell you guys this last week, but my volleyball team FINALLY won their first game last week! We have lost every game all season. We are always so close, but always lost, and last week we won one game! YIPEE! I have VB tonight, so no workout for me tonight.

Laurie - I had to chuckle at your gray hair comment. I was just commenting to my hubby last night that I may have to start dying my hair because I am starting to see grays! What do those kids do to us! LOL :)

Robin! Glad to see you here. :) You know, just because you aren't doing ALL Cathe doesn't mean you aren't welcome. I do all kinds, and I think a lot of us vary our workouts quite a bit. Congrats on winning a game!! Sounds like us with bowling. Not to brag, but I am a pretty good bowler. I ended last season with a 163 average. Then I got a new bowling ball; 2 pounds heavier and with fingertip lifts (your fingers don't go all the way in). I had SUCH a hard time for the first half of this year. I actually had a 93 one game lol. Now I finally figured it out and am bowling about a 170 average! So everyone that told me I would be better with a heavier ball was right. Mine was way too light.

Anyhoo.......sorry for the unasked for bowling analysis. LOL

Marie have fun at spinning tonight. I know you will. Doesn't your butt get sore? lol Mine always hurts when I ride my bike. Of course if I rode it more than 3 times a summer maybe it wouldn't lol. Thanks for the Jari info. By different do you mean easier than Cathe? That would be okay right now. ha ha.
 
Good day to all! Woke up early and did Muscle Endurance followed by 400 jumping jacks and 10 minutes of jump roping! I am pooped!:) I have noticed that my clothes are fitting a bit looser though even though my scale hasn't budged! grrrrr...
Laurie, you just remined me to do my hair! I do my own with Nice and Easy about every 6-8 weeks. I am not really too gray, I just prefer the color!

Good morning,

No workout for me today. I couldn't sleep again last night, so I didn't try to drag myself out of bed at 5:15 so I could at least attempt to get a little sleep. That's so frustrating!

I ran outside yesterday; it was wonderful. I am wondering if I'm doing something different with my posture when I run, though — by last night I felt like I had a huge knot in my upper back. Not fun.

Classes start today! One of my classes is online, which I've never tried before. I hope it turns out okay.

Ellen, UGH on the sleeping problems! I hate that. I had the same problem last night. I can fall asleep easily but keep waking up during the night. It's partly from work stress and partly from having a dog in bed with me. (And yes, I mean a REAL dog lol). Have fun with your class!

Susan, I use Nice & Easy too. My sister does hair and is apalled that I use an at-home thing when she would do it for very cheap. But her shop is in Oak Creek and I live in East Troy---45 minutes away. I can't spare the time or gas money to go there. I used Medium Auburn this time and like it a lot! It's not REAL red, just looks like highlights. :) I have gradually gone from very blonde to light brown and now this. Closer to my natural color. I got sick of having dark roots.That's GREAT that your clothes are looser! I'm starting to feel it too, I've lost 7.5 since the 1st. :)
 
Gray hair talk - I use L'oreal Excellence Lt Golden Brown. Very close to my natural color. No idea how much gray would be there. I would love to have it done but the cost and time factors make it less attractive than doing it at home.

Robin - Welcome back! Good to see you back with us. I hardly do any Cathe these days and they still let me post. :)

Have some exciting news to share with all - I just found out that the gym I re-joined will soon (May 1st ??) be offering Tuebo Kick classes! I took some at the Y and the live classes are so much better than the TJs although I don't have any of the TJ Lives yet (although they are ordered!).

I've been losing during the week and regaining over the weekend. x( Have to get those weekends in control by giving myself 1 cheat meal instead of 2 cheat days. :+

Ditto! (Especially the part about it not being 800 like last week! :p )

As for the gray hairs - I'm still pluckin'! I want to wait as long as I can before I give in to coloring. I wash my hair every day because of all the gel and hair spray I have to use on my stubborn straight hair to get it to do anything so the color wouldn't last as long. I'd like to try highlights though. . . they look very nice if done well.

Another one wih stubborn straight hair and shampoo daily. I do mine about every 4 weeks now but when there was less I could go 6 weeks. It doesn't fade so it is just the roots that determine when it is time.

I was off yesterday for MLK day. Workout was Lowmax. I wish I was losing like you ladies. I would love to drop 5 - 7 pounds. Sigh. My clothes seem to be getting TIGHTER instead of looser. I guess maybe my diet is worse than I think it is. I should start logging what I eat.

Ellen - have fun with your online class. That should be interesting!

Laurie - sewing your own drapes? Holy cow, that's great. The last time I sewed was never. Sigh again!

I haven't seen my natural hair color in years. I frankly don't know if I'm gray or not! I prefer to keep it that way - highlighted to within an inch of my life. :)

Jill - Glad your bowling scores are improving! :) Amazing what the right equipment will do, huh?

Nice to "see" you all. Do any of you know if there are any Wisconsin stores (Dick's Sporting Good, etc.) that sell barbell sets like Cathe uses? The Troy Lite one, with the rubber coated plates? I am kind of thinking about one, but don't want to pay shipping for such a thing.
