Holy cats, it's December! Can you believe it?!

I'm on early this morning because after doing GS biceps & MM abs last night and GS chest & triceps this morning, I am too wiped out to do cardio like I planned. :p

Ellen - Hope Chewy is okay. Must be kinda scary for a dog having dental work done. I wonder if they dribble down their faces while their mouth is still numb like I do. Oh, that's right - dogs do that anyway! ha :)

Jill - This is a stinky time of year to put more hours in at the office. Hope the new girl is a fast learner! No more pooh accidents for Mace - yah!

Marie - I have a Nordic Track too although it sits tucked away in the closet most of the time since it takes up so much room. It's a great workout I think.

Have a great day, everyone!

Morning BBs,

I can't believe it's December either! A snowy start to it here in Madison. Interesting commute this morning. Why do people still drive so fast when it's slippery and snowy????

Treadmill walk for 60 min and some abs this morning for me. My legs are a bit sore from LM yesterday.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning,

Today I did Kick Max. I didn't want to get up but I didn't work out yesterday, so I did it anyway! It wasn't so bad once I got moving. That seems to be the case every day!

Jill, hurray for a potty-trained Mace! It's so cool how it suddenly clicks for them.

Chewy is fine after her dental work. She didn't want to talk to me on the way home from the vet's office though :) She just sat on the passenger seat and whined, and when I reached over to pat her, she'd look at me, then look away, as if she was saying "Hmph!" She's a funny girl. She'll get to eat soft dog food for a few days so she's happier now.

Lots of snow! Bailey always loves it and runs right out to bury her face in it and toss it around with her nose. Okay, do I sound like a crazy dog lady? ;)

Take care,

Ellen

Morning BB's,

Had a busy day yesterday, and it didn't end until I fell asleep on the couch last night at about 9pm. :) Before it got even busier here at work I decided to get on the board to post yesterday and today's workouts.

Yesterday I did PUB Chest/Back/Shoulders (great DOMS today), KPC Premix #1, and C&W Cardio only Premix (minus the warm-up). The cardio was almost like doing MIC, except for the dreaded Hi/Lo. }( Today will be HC Extreme #2.

Ellen, you don't sound like a crazy dog lady, just someone who loves her dogs. Our Mindy used to do the same thing in the snow. She also loved it when you made snowballs. She thought catching them in her mouth was a great game.

Awsome workouts everyone.

Have a great day!

Good morning! Yay I remembered to check in today! LOL

I was supposed to be at the office today, but had to stay home. My younger son has been sick since Sunday with a bad cough and fever and green gunk coming out of his nose. I am taking him to the doctor today, hopefully for some antibiotics and some cough syrup w/codeine. Nobody is getting any sleep in this house! He's up all night coughing. Sunday he actually vomited TWICE during the night from coughing. It was real fun changing him and all the sheets at midnight and again at 4am! Hopefully he'll get over it soon after we start some meds.

Sue-holy mackeral on your workouts the last 24 hours! Way to go, you Buff Badger you! Just over 3 weeks til Christmas! Time is flying by.

Thea-we had some snow, too. Not much, but enough to make the roads slippery on the way to school. I'm glad I didn't have to drive to Milwaukee after all.

Ellen-cool is an understatment. I was getting really worried that he'd never "get" it. But all of a sudden he just started barking at me and got real excited when I said "do you have to go potty outside". Whew! Mace loves the snow, too. The first time he was very hesitant to step outside, but every time I let him in now he has snow all over his nose lol.

Laurie-OMG on your workouts too! You and Ellen are just rocking! Oh thanks for the tip-I'll have to see if Mace likes catching snowballs lol.

I have to take DS to the doctor at 1:30 so I'm not sure what time my workout will be. I've finally gotten back to my daily noon workouts this week but I won't have time to exercise and get ready for the appointment. So it will have to be later. My ankle is getting better-I was so happy to do some step yesterday. The bosu will have to wait awhile yet though.

Enjoy the snowy day!

I love the dogs in the snow! (I'm jealous of you right now)
We had a dog like that when I still lived at home. She would run out there - she would sometimes ask to go out just to go out. She would sit on the deck in the snow - particularly at night - very peacefully and stare out at the snow for hours. We used to have to call her to come in. She even stayed out long enough a few times that her paws started to get icey and she would stand there alternating holding her feet up. My dad would have to go out and carry her in. She loved winter. I do, too!

You guys and all your cute snowy dog stories are making me want a dog! I'm afraid 2 cats is all I can handle for now though. LOL

Hi BBs - Great workouts Everyone!
DH called last night. :)

Jill - Hope your son feels better soon! Glad Mace is trained now. Muggs loved the snow when he was a pup. Now he just loves to eat it and will only be out in it for so long before he holds one paw up and hops around on 3 legs.

Just doing the nordic track this week. Oh - and the shoveling workout too!
