TGIF :) :)

Today will be a 5 Mile Run, Project You Lower Body Abs and TBS Basic Stretch. The PY LBA is actually a good workout to add to cardio. Saturday will be Power Hour and Sunday will be Imax and the KM Leg Drills.

This weekend is a birthday party for my niece on Saturday, and Sunday I have a baby shower to go to. And we will be sewing up a new dress for our eldest. This is one of the Ren Faire dresses.

My eldest was asked out to a winter formal, and turned the young man down gently. Her father and I have told her she can't date until she is 16. Just hearing her talk about it though made me feel like a horrible parent. But she didn't seem too upset about it. My personal feeling is that she isn't ready and she knows it.

Morning, Badgers! Home with a sick kid today. Not feeling too bad about it because she's sleeping so it's giving me a chance to catch up on a few things.

Did Cardio & Weights this morning. It's been awhile since I've done the whole w/o. Forgot all about those walking planks but proud of myself for not falling over. ;-)

Laurie - I went to Pick 'n Save to look for the "chicken dvd" but they must be all sold out. :-( They had the Perdue chicken but no dvd inside. DH and I haven't discussed when DD can begin dating but I like your idea of waiting until she's 16.

TGIF, indeed! :) So glad the weekend is here. No big plans - we might catch the Curious George movie with DS.

Last night was CTX 10*10*10 with the ab work from CTX Kickbox. Nice short workout. Next w/o in the rotation is Leaner Legs with 200 walking lunges. Eeeek.

Laurie - sounds like you have a busy weekend. Party, party, party - and sewing! Sounds like you did the right thing with your daughter.

Sue - Hope your offspring gets better soon. I hear you about C & W - my abs were creaky after doing that one! I'll be watching the Olympics, too. My DH is a full-on Olympics fan, so I expect we'll see a lot of it. I'm mostly in it for the figure skating. Go Sasha!

Sue, The last package of chicken I purchased wasn't marked that it had the DVD in it. Move the chicken package and see if there is one in the back. :) Hope your daughter feels better soon.

Laurie - I DID push the chicken aside but didn't see anything but cardboard! x( The other shoppers probably thought I was molesting the chicken or something. LOL I checked several packages, too. I might go back and get a package just for the heck of it though since I've been hungry for it the past few days. :9
 
Good morning,

So glad it's Friday, and I'm glad I got my workout done early this morning. I did Hardcore Extreme 1 and floor work from Gym Style legs. I wanted to do an extended stretch but ran out of time. Tomorrow will be a five-mile run and Sunday will be a shorter run, probably about three and a half. My mom and I are going to a garden show at the Alliant Center tomorrow; it will be nice to see some green and flowers :)

Laurie, you're probably right about your daughter. I know it sometimes was a relief to have somewhat stricter parents; I could always use them as an excuse if I wasn't comfortable doing something. Of course, I'm still not supposed to be dating — my dad always said I had to wait till I was 30. :)

Sarah, good luck with all the lower-body work you have ahead of you. I can't force myself to do Leaner Legs, even though I know it's good for me.

Sue, I hope your daughter feels better! And way to go on the walking planks. Those are tough.

Just a quick note to report in - I did a turbo jam workout this morning.

Looks like the update was timed to answer the questions yesterday and that it won't be anytime soon before we see these workouts. I am wondering if this will change how future pre-0rders are handled even though much of the delay was due to her injury. It still may have made her realize sometimes things are out of your control. Even though she never gave a date, I am sure no one including Cathe expected this. I think it will be May so at least it will be before Summer (I hope).

Have a great weekend everyone! Spin tomorrow and then working with a trainer at the gym. Part of the new member pkg is 3 sessions with a trainer. An initial meeting to set up a program, one at 90 days and one in between. So not sure what I will do on Sunday and that will depend too on DH if it is at the gym or at home.
 
Hi everyone! Looks like I am late checking in today! Hope you've all had a good one.

I did Muscle Endurance this morning and my NordicTrack for 35 minutes this afternoon. Tomorrow is a run and then Leaner Legs in the morning! Don't have much planned this weekend. My hubby is taking my son fishing, my daughter is staying at a friends.... I get to enjoy some peace and quiet and maybe finish that book I've been reading!:)
