Morning BB's,

Today I'm thinking of doing the Crunch Bootcamp Training. This is my week to do some of the DVD's I don't ever seem to do!

Ellen, so sorry to hear about the trouble with your shins. I had shin splints when I ran track in HS, but (knock on wood) haven't had them since then. Maybe it's because my calf muscles are so huge!!!! :D

Susan, even though you had so little sleep, you really had a great workout!

Anyone interested, just rent The Egg and I, this is a great movie and it introduces you to Ma & Pa Kettle! This is what started the series of movies.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hello you Buff Badgers! Hope you have a good Thursday.

I did KPC this morning followed by 500 jumping jacks and 10 minutes of jump rope. My legs are officially worn out! :)

Got to get to work! Enjoy your day! Susan

Hi Everyone!

Laurie, Crunch BC has always interested me. I thought this one might be good when I want a quick workout. Please let me know what you think. I love the Ma & Pa Kettle movies. I use to watch them with my parents when I was younger.

I did Cathe's BC last night. I find this one gets less challenging the more I do it. Those squat thrust climbers still get me though. Today after school I plan to do IMax3. I really want to do Kelly's R,S,G but I should give it a rest before I get bored with it.

My neck is really feeling good this week. Probably shouldn't say that, but I wish I could figure out what triggers the stiffness.
My tendons are bothering me more. I haven't done too much cardio lately, so hopefully they'll feel better when I do Imax.

Good Workouts Everyone!!

Cynthia

Good morning,

No workout for me today. I took my mom and grandma to the airport at 5:15, then my boyfriend and I went to breakfast. He took today off, so he can go home and sleep all day. Unfortunately, I am at work. I have class tonight too. I'll definitely be ready for the weekend!

Laurie, when I ran yesterday, I didn't get shin splints. I used the treadmill for a half hour, then ran on the track for another 20 minutes, and that seemed to help. I hope. They seem to come and go for me — hopefully they're going!

Have a great day,

Ellen

Hi girls. I know I'm scarce - sorry!! Between work and getting my house ready, I don't have a minute to myself. I rested yesterday although I cleaned for 2 hours last night after working at the office all day. I want to do a workout today, but my back is really sore from cleaning. I'm walking with that hunched over look lol. So we'll see.....doing good on my eating though! I'm down 12 pounds from the first. 20 to go. :(
Jill

Jill - I envy your energy and motiviation to get your house sold. That's a huge undertaking and a lot of work (as you already know ;-) ). DH and I have been in the same house for 13 years because we're too lazy to go thru the whole process of getting your house ready, selling it and moving. We also have a great location so we'll stay put until the kids are out of elementary school (at least). Congrats on the weight loss! Woo hoo! :)

Susan - I did KPC this morning (minus the 500 jumping jacks and rope jumping, you workout fool! ;-))

Cynthia - Where are the sore tendons? Sorry if I missed what you said.

Ellen - Glad the shin splints are gone. I seem to get them when I tense up my shins while running downhill. Does that make sense? I'm not saying you do that but I can even feel myself doing it and know I'll be sore the next day. Running on a mostly flat course helps me avoid that.

I think I'm going to do PS-CST and/or PS-BBA tomorrow - really been in the mood to lift heavy.

Have a great day everyone!

Sue

Hi

Hi BBs,

Sounds like everyone's pretty busy these days.

Last night I did Legs & Glutes. I really like that one. So much variety in the exercises instead of the usual zillion squats and lunges.

Susan - You're an incredible worker-outer! KPC plus all jacks and jump rope! I have DOMs just thinking about it!

Ellen - Awww, too bad you can't get some rest after your busy morning! Hope school goes well for you this semester.

Jill - Oh, eeeek! Preparing a house for sale! That sounds like a hella amount of work. It will be SOOOO nice to unload it, though! I'm another yard work hater, and houses in general are just too much work. I'm ready for a condo myself!! And wow - congrats on the weight loss! That's awesome! I joined Sparkpeople.com, I'm going to try to track my eating a bit.

Cheers, everyone! - Sarah

RE: Hi

Thanks Sarah :) I'm doing sparkpeople.com too! I've been using it for about three weeks. The first two weeks I didn't follow their meal plan and didn't see any progress, but this week I decided to switch and eat what they told me to, and now I'm doing relatively well! Go figure.

Ellen

RE: Hi

I am doing sparkpeople too! I really like it. I can't seem to eat as much as they want me too however. I have noticed it makes me choose more wisely then before! I feel like they are watching me! :) Susan

Hi Susan and Ellen!

Nice to know some other BBs are "Spark People"!

I have never ever tracked my eating - it's quite interesting. I just started this week. I'm just entering my own food now, but I might do some of their meal plans eventually. It really, really does make me more conscious of every l'il Hershey's Kiss I pop in my mouth. It also makes me realize I'm getting more protein than I thought I was. I'm kind of a meat-avoider, so protein is always hard for me to get.

Spark On! :) Sarah

RE: Hi

Hi BBs,
I did pilates last night and this morning was a Kathy Kaehler strength. But just happy that I did something since I didn't sleep good.

What is Sparkpeople?

Cynthia - I understand wanting to know what triggers an episode! You always hope with that info you can do something to avoid them! I still don't have a clue what triggers my shoulder/neck/headache thing but am always very mindful and try to avoid these dreaded episodes! x(

RE: Sparkpeople.com

Marie,
It's much more developed than Fit Day, if you've heard of that. It has a much more extensive food and exercise database, and it's free too. So far I like it much better than the other sites I've tried (ediets, Weight Watchers online, fitday). I'm a huge fan.
