Morning BB's,

Today will be KPC and the Leg Conditioning Drills from KM.

Looks like it will be a great start to our first day of spring. Actually the whole week looks pretty good.

Have a great day!

Hello Ladies and Happy Spring - finally!:)

Today is an hour of pilates and walk/run the dog for 40 minutes.

The weekend was nice and uneventful. We took the kids bowling. They loved it. My hubby is a very good bowler and I am not. Our son seems to take after Dad and my daughter is like me! We hope to take them more often.

Have a great Monday!

Happy Spring!

Yesterday I did PS Legs & Abs, then the KickMax Blast section. Man, that is tough. I love the part where she says that the tucks in the last blast are easier than the ones that came earlier, where you curl your legs back instead of tucking up. Yeah, um, not so easy. That's a tough 15 minutes.

Susan - bowling sounds fun! I'm terrible too, but it's always a fun thing to try.

I have to get ready for my son's AND husband's birthday. My son was born on my husband's birthday so we have a party every year, mainly for the DS but DH gets in on it too. We have lots of people coming, kids, etc. and I am NOT a great hostess so it is always very, very, very stressful for me. The party is Saturday. My Mom is coming from Iowa on Thursday to help me get ready for it. It's a dinosaur theme party, so I'm doing a T-Rex cake, etc. Sigh!

Happy Monday! - Sarah

Good morning,

I haven't worked out yet but will run on campus at the end of the work day. Then I have to go to the grocery store. We had a great weekend in Indiana, but it sure is a lot of driving in a very short amount of time. I need another weekend to catch up on sleep!

Have a great day,

Ellen

Sarah - I'm sure your party will be just fine! Don't worry so much. I'm not a natural hostess either. My sister Mary is great at it though. I think it just takes practice.

Ellen - I hate long car rides, too. Even driving to my mom's near Madison which takes a little less than an hour is a pain. Hey, roundtrip it's 2 hours out of my precious weekend! I love my mom and all and would never consider not going because of that but when Sunday night comes so quickly I feel cheated somehow. When are they going to invent transporters like in Star Trek? That would make life easier.

Susan - Another crummy bowler here. The best time I had bowling was when the automatic scoring machine was broken and DS and I scored perfect games! The manager apologized profusely but we didn't mind at all - we were laughing so hard after the machine kept recording strike after strike.

Laurie - Yeah, I'm soooooooo ready for spring!

Only worked half a day on Friday so I missed checkin - I did SH Biceps + Imax2.

Saturday was supposed to be a rest day but my daughter and I attended a seminar sponsored by Waukesha and Oconomowoc hospitals called "Beauty Begins Within" and we did 30 min. of Turbokick at the end. I enjoyed it but most moms did not. They told us to dress in comfortable, loose clothing because we'd be doing some light activity (which to me means yoga or Pilates - not Turbokick! - but that's beside the point). A lot of moms had nice clothes and hard shoes. I was wearing a sports bra, long-sleeved workout shirt, warmup pants and sneakers. I was actually dripping sweat by the time we were done! My daughter hung in there for about 15 minutes and enjoyed the punching and kicking which is like her Tae Kwon Do. (Marie - The Turbokick instructor was from Westwood Fitness but I don't remember her name.)

Yesterday was SH Triceps + HSTA. This morning was GS Chest + Lowmax 1-4.

Have a great day everyone!

Sue
