Morning BB's,

Today will be a 5 mile run and Project You Lower Body Abs.

The race was really exciting yesterday, had a great time watching.

Finally I broke through this plateau that I have been on. Lost a couple of pounds. Don't know if it is the endurance work outs I have been doing lately. We will have to see. I don't seem to have lost any strength so far. Guess I will have to incorporate some of the GS series into my workout to see for sure.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Morning Laurie and all to follow. :)

Congrats on being down a few pounds Laurie. I can't wait for tax season to be over so I can get back on track. I did great in January but now work has just overtaken my life. I managed to squeeze 30 minutes on the treadmill yesterday but that's it for a long time. I'm just trying not to regain any of the 13 pounds I lost in January!!

Work is hell of course, but we're about half way through thank goodness. I really HATE my job this time of year!!

No news on my housing situation. I still don't have any information on the condos that are being built. I'm nervous about that--they are already digging and they have no plans made up? That's kind of weird!!

Have a great Monday ladies!
Jill

Good morning,

Is it just me, or do weekends go by way too fast? Mine did, that's for sure. My dad was in Wisconsin this weekend so I got to spend some time with him, which was nice.

I ran every day, Friday-Sunday, which was good. My body is starting to change shape somewhat now that running has been my primary source of cardio, and I've lost between five and seven pounds (depending on time of day, of course!). I'm still deciding if I will go for a run after work tonight or just do pilates or weights. I'll have to see where my motivation is — it's currently rebelling. I'd hate to use up my one rest day of the week on Monday!

Laurie, great job on the weight loss!

Jill, it's great to hear that you're halfway through your difficult season at work. Hopefully the rest will go by quickly :)

Take care,

Ellen

Good morning

Today will be Legs & Glutes. Over the weekend, I did KickMax for the first time. Those blasts were hard, and the leg conditioning drills? Ouch! Talk about a burn! Those roundhouse ones and just holding my leg out "parallel" (I wasn't close to parallel!) - whoo.

Laurie - good for you breaking through a plateau! I've got 4-5 pounds I'm trying to lose and they are not budging. Glad you had watching the race!

Jill - Hang in there during tax season! My BIL is a CPA and he works like a DOG during this season. It's amazing - he is ALWAYS at the office. Brutal!

Ellen - Ditto on the weekend going fast. It flew by. My parents were in town from Iowa, so my DH and I got to party with some friends. It was fun. Good for you on that weight loss/running. That's great!

Happy Monday! - Sarah

Afternoon, all! Congrats to all who've been losing weight. I won't go anywhere near a scale these days. . .

Did Step Blast this morning before I realized I had on my schedule to do Mega Step Blast. Oh, well - at least they both have Blast in the title so I was close. LOL

Hi everybody! I do aggree the weekend goes by way too fast. I thought the race went well too. However I would have rather seen a #8 car cross the finish but I'm happy for Jimmy Johnson and crew...

I am doing Pilates on the Ball. It's a DVD I picked up from the library. I have done it before and it's really good. Then I'll be on my Nordic Track for 30-40 minutes.

Congrats to all you ladies on your weight loss. I have lost some inches but no pounds. I try not to fret about it but I have this evil women who sits on my shoulder shaking her head....

Have a good day! Stay strong- Susan

Hi BBs!
Sat and Sun were gym days - Sat I did my spin class and Sunday was 30 minutes on the crosstrainer and weights. I didn't get up to work out this morning and planned to do something tonight but starting to feel like I am getting a cold. DH has been coughing on me for a week now. I wonder how sympathetic he will be if I complain as much as he has been esp considering that he shared this with me!!!! I am not happy. :(

Congrats to all that are losing pounds and inches! It just doesn't happen that easily for me these days. I think that started to change at about age 45. Very frustrating but I keep plugging away and hope one of these days things will start to happen.

Hi Everyone!

Have had some good workouts this weekend. Sat. was Kelly's The Shape of Things to Come. I really like this one. Sun was 50 min of Hi/Low Heaven and basketball with the kids. Today was MIC hi/low and SPJ hi/low and circuit. I haven't done this in awhile and since there was no school today I took advantage of the workout time.

Tomorrow is an off day. Taking DH to the airport to close on the house and take care of odds and ends. I can't wait till we get rid of that house. What a relief! 8 days left of owning 2 houses!!

I also think that I lost a couple lbs. My pants are a little looser. I have cut my food portions down significantly, but it is sure slow coming off!

Take Care Everyone!
