Morning BB's,

Today will be PUB Chest/Back/Shoulders plus 30 min. Interval Run.

Isn't the snow beautiful. :D On the way to church yesterday we just got on the freeway and saw a car on the west bound side go in the ditch. A little further down we saw a cop car in the ditch. :) Needless to say I was going at a safe speed.

My oldest DD had a great swim meet. She improved her times on all events and came in third in two of her heats. I was very proud of her. :+ Tonight she has her Chorus Concert. She will be singing in the Alto section, just like her Mother.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hello BBs,

I did C&W this morning, forgot how fun that one is, time seems to fly by. Tonight is my dad's birthday, so I had to get a good workout in to make room for cake. I am going to try for a small piece, getting tired of the extra junk to eat already this season!

Yes, Laurie the snow is nice--as long as you can stay home! The bigger issue for me is how cold it is this morning! Great job to your DD for her swim meet!

Ugh, Monday again and it looks like a busy one here at work today. I hope you all have great days--keep warm!

-Thea

Go Bears!!! (had to get that in somewhere!:) )

Good afternoon Laurie, Thea and the rest of the BBs!

If any of you were on the forum over the weekend, you may have read about the "Cathe Marathon" I did on Saturday. Shelly (allwildgirl) came up with the idea of re-living the roadtrip by doing similar workouts to what we did with Cathe. Let me tell you, this was MUCH harder than what we did with Cathe! She really toned it down on the roadtrip to make it more fun for everyone. This was intense!

I started out with RS in the morning , did ME in the afternoon followed by KPC about an hour later and finished it off with shoveling snow. :p I still can't believe I actually did it. I was fully expecting to poop out somewhere during KPC - maybe even before the combos - but amazingly enough, my body kept going. This is NOT something I'd consider doing more than a few times a year! It was nuts! I feel a great sense of accomplishment though, too. Yesterday was a rest day since I was definitely fatigued but thankfully only a tad sore.

Today I did GS-BSB timesaver followed by IMAX3 step only premix.

Yes, the snow is pretty. Kids went sledding for the 1st time this season yesterday. It would be nice if it could warm up just enough so the snow doesn't melt.

Have a great day!

Sue

Hello,

Today I did Imax 1. I'm still recovering from a migraine last night so my energy was a little low, but working out made me feel a little better. I only have eight more days of class left, hurray!

Sue, I did see over the weekend that you did the Cathe marathon. It sounded tough! Do you think it was harder than Boot Camp x 2? I can't remember if you did the August rotation. Anyway, good for you for taking the challenge!

Take care,

Ellen

Ellen - I didn't do the August rotation but am thinking of trying it in January. Keep in mind that I didn't do these back-to-back. Without that recovery time in-between there's NO WAY I could have done all 3 workouts. IMO doing BC x 2 back-to-back would be VERY difficult.

Sue

Hi BBs,
Laurie - congratulations to your daughter! Sounds like they really keep you running.

Sue - I am soooooo impressed! That was 3 tough workouts and shoveling snow on top of it.

Ellen - IMAX is pretty good for not having much energy!

Thea - Enjoy the cake! DH's birthday is this weekend so I will have to have some. :)

I don't go over to the Ask Cathe forum often but doesn't seem like she is posting much lately. Maybe that means she is filming and there will be an announcement soon. I expected these to be out sooner but maybe all the new business venture stuff slowed things down. Wouldn't that be a nice Christmas gift for all of us?! :)

Good evening lady b's!

I am so tired; sorry for such a late post. It was a day at the office for me, and I'm training someone and we are getting into the busy season, so not much computer "personal" time while there.

I did the old Fitprime Weights First with Tracie Long on Friday, and my glutes are STILL sore. Can you believe that!? That is one TOUGH workout. No workout today for me; my office days are mostly rest days. Tomorrow will be a circuit workout to get weights and cardio both in. I'm also shooting for 30 minutes on the treadmill in the morning, although that is hard for me.

Laurie-the snow is beautiful. The cold is NOT! Kudos to your DD on her swimming improvements!

Thea-were you humming Buttercup all day? LOL

Sue-I read that thread but didn't realize it was YOU. I was just thinking "what a bunch of nuts". But in a good way! LOL And I would HOPE Sunday was a rest day. Congratulations-that was really tough!

Ellen-yay on school being almost over! And good for you for your workout with a headache today. That is not easy.

Marie-I sure HOPE filming has started! To be totally honest, I'm feeling kind of irked that we haven't had an update lately. I mean, I paid for the workouts almost 3 months ago and would like to at least know if they are filming. And if not, why not? Even a "hey guys, we ran into technical difficulties and can't start filming yet" would make me happy.

I ordered all four of Tracie Long's new workouts today. Do any of you do hers? I love her as much as Cathe. Cathe is more bubbly, but there is something about TL that has always really appealed to me. Her new workouts look great and the production, thank GOODNESS looks awesome. Her new site is tracielongtraining.com if anyone wants to check it out.

I was going to try an old (new to me) Karen Voight circuit workout tomorrow, but maybe I'll do C&W since Thea mentioned it.

Have a great evening!
Jill
