Today I was suppose to start my 4 weeks with PUB. I'm not feeling that great right now. Will see how I feel when I get home. PUB Tricep/Bicep, plus 30 min interal run.

Had a good time at The Dells this weekend except for getting sick! x( Spent the whole day yesterday in bed.

Hello,

Today is a rest day for me. I'm trying not to worry so much about getting in six workouts a week.

Thanksgiving weekend was great, but as always, went by too fast. Now I'm ready for one final push through the last couple of weeks of my classes — it's been a long semester!

Laurie - Sorry to hear you're feeling sick. I've dodged a few bullets around here so knock on wood.;)

Ellen - Don't fret about missing workouts this time of year. Just do what you can when you can.:)

Here's how my Thanksgiving weekend went:
I "earned" my Thanksgiving dinner by doing CTX Upper and Legs & Glutes back-to-back that morning. Later that night I did my 20 minute run. Friday was a rest day - didn't even shovel snow cuz the kids were so excited by it they wanted to do it. Yah! No complainin' on that one! LOL On Saturday I needed a major calorie burn so I did Viper. Yesterday was a KPC/Leg & Glutes premix plus Power Circuit abs. Today was GS back, shoulders plus 30 min. of Mindi's Slammin' Sports. Fun, fun workout but it also kicks my butt...

With only a few days left, I abandoned the November rotation because I "just felt like doing something different". I want to concentrate on the heavier weights for a bit since I've been doing endurance style weight work for awhile.

Last night I bruised my bicep of all things! It hurts a lot today. After the kids both took their shower, I walked into the bathroom and flew a$$ over teakettle onto the wet floor landing on my bicep. I think I put my arm out to brace my fall and it twisted as I went down and all my weight landed on it. Weirdest darn thing! The kids had a good lecture on how to properly dry themselves off IN THE SHOWER so the water stays in the tub instead of on the floor.

Glad to hear everyone had a good Turkey Day! Mine was nice as well but ate too much of course! I went to see Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson in concert Sat night. It was so much fun! Gretchen was ok, but Big & Rich stole the show. They were so full of energy--you could tell the crowd was very into their performance. Nothing worse than a dead crowd! Even one of the friends who went with me had fun and he isn't typically a fan of country music.

Laurie, sorry you are under the weather, get well soon!

Ellen, just get through that semester doing the best you can!

Sue, take care of that bicep! Injuries are so frustrating.

I tried half of Low Max today. I have mixed feelings. I was expecting it to be more fun. Maybe I was just concentrating too hard on getting the moves down. I'll have to keep trying! I have had the itch to get out the CTX workouts again. I have them on VHS though, and I think the idea of rewinding, etc is keeping me from them. Just can't fork over $90 for the DVDs!

Hope you are all doing well--ick, we have to work a full week this week!

Hi everyone!
Did Kristen Kagen's Step This Way 2 (A toughy) with BC lowerbody premix. 1hr total. Just right.

This morning woke up to 35 degrees here in AZ. A little cold spell for the next couple days. I just unpacked a few winter clothes for the girls. I didn't realize that I would need them the next day!:eek:

I turned on the news when I was packing the girls' lunch and they actually had a weather alert on. I thought it meant snow.:7 I had to laugh at that one. I guess they just needed to tell everyone that it was cold out!
