Hi,

Today I did Lauren Brooks Kettlebell workout 2. On Sat. I didn't exercise and on Sun. I went for a 2 1/2 mile run with Snickers. My DH hurt his knee now so I don't know how long before he runs again.

Tomorrow is my DD18, 19th birthday. On Sat. is my DS15, 16th birthday.

Max Interval Circuits is finished, and that really is one tough workout. Had to stop a couple of times, and my legs are really feeling all the squats right now. Guess the arms/shoulders are feeling the push-ups too. :D Saturday was the last of Core Cardio and Balance. Sunday was the Fit Test. I was amazed at what I was able to do.

Hello there! Saturday was KenpoX for me and Sunday was a walk/run with Ruby plus I played some basketball!

Today starts my first "recovery" week. It's supposed to be Yoga but I feel like doing something more so I am switching and doing tomorrows workout today: Core Synerg.

Had a nice weekend. We went to our girls varsity basketball game and they are going to State! We are so proud of them. we had a blast! I have never watched High School girls play so well and with such determination. I hope they win it all! We wanted to go to Madison but have already made plans to be in Milwaukee for the weekend...:(

Karen, and Laurie, Happy Birthday to all the kids! 2 of my brothers and my nephew, have March Birthdays!:D

Karen - Kids are growing up, huh? Sad and happy at the same time I'll bet.

Laurie - Nice, steady improvements on your Fit Test. You almost doubled your number for low plank oblique! :D

Susan - Congrats on your girls team going to State! :cool: Sounds like you like Core Syn.

Well, I've tried Walking Stronger twice now and I'm not a fan. I was hoping the non-treadmill workout would provide a good alternative to Leslie but it's not. The music is bland and Tracey doesn't motivate me at all. There's only 1 person modifying on the floor and half the time she's facing sideways on the step. If any of you want it, I'll send it to you. Maybe it's better if you do it on a treadmill but I won't be getting one of those anytime soon. Let me know if you're interested.

Did Barry's Fat Blaster Upper Body + Mission Specialist. Can't fairly judge this workout yet because I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out how to do the chest press with the tubing and regular stability ball (didn't work - used 20 lb dumbells instead). Barry does a lot of yelling in this one. Should come with a "Mute Barry" option. ;)

Max Interval Plyo is finished for today. Another good workout, and had a lot of good body weight exercises. Was surprised that my thutt area was sore yesterday, but then again many of the exercises in these workouts have been squat related.

Susan, I always watch the girls b'ball on TV during the state competition. When I was a junior in HS, our team went to state, not to participate, but to go watch the games. It was a fun time, and the energy is amazing.

Sue, Sorry to hear that workout was a bust. There is one nice thing about that dang pill shaped ball, it really works well for those chest presses. LOL on muting Barry! Don't these seem to be more of a Cindy creation than Barry?

HI Ladies! Today I am actually going to do YogaX! Since it's my recovery week I thought I owed it to Tony to at least do it one time. I think it is scheduled twice this week. :)

Laurie, that Max. Interval Plyo sounds like fun! I keep going back to QVC and checking on Insanity. I know I'll end up purchasing it before I am done with P90X!;)

Sue, that is funny about muting Barry! Hope you had a good workout today!

Busy weekend and week. Yesterday was STS Meso 3 and today Pyramid...love that one.

Laurie - I wasn't going to use the pill shaped ball but decided to inflate it last night anyway. Haven't used it yet for chest presses but DS has been enjoying laying on it. :D A sore thut after a workout is a good thing. ;)

Lala - I love the Pyramids, too. I'll bet you're looking forward to spring break and a little relief from being so busy.

Did BFBM intervals 1-4 last night. Nothing yet today but I plan to do Barry FatBlaster Lower + Mission Specialist Lower tonight.

Max Cardio Conditioning is finished. This is my favorite of all the Insanity workouts. The warm up was even a bit different, and didn't wear you out. I don't know how many exercises we did, but each exercise was for 1 min each. He did give some time to rest when he explained an exercise that we had never done. I'm giving the Insanity purchase an A+. So glad that I took the plunge. My next rotation is STS/Shock Cardio/Insanity, and I will be combining that with eating three low cal/one maintenance cal days.

Susan, Love your new avatar. How was YogaX? I actually like the stretch he gives at the end of the workout. I don't think that you would regret the purchase of this system.

Lala, It must be the Max in the title of these workouts. :D

Sue, I really like how I could do the exercises with the pill vs. the stability ball. When it comes to tricep dips, I could never keep that stability ball stable enough to finish. With that pill, you can at least get you triceps worked good without having to worry that the ball will slip out from underneath you.

Howdy! Is this week over yet?? Ugh!:confused: Anyway, I thought today was supposed to be CardioX but I re-checked the schedule and it's Kenpo! I like this one especially when I wear the weighted gloves!

Laurie, you just keep encouraging me to spend my money! LOL!:D I am glad I have you pre-testing Insanity before I buy! YogaX was okay. I still am not a fan. Glad I did it though!

Helo all,

Super busy week for me this week. I just wanted to jump in and say "Hi". Still following the March rotation. I am liking the circuit workouts this week. I seem to respond to circuit work better and the dread-factor doesn't set in. I feel like I am becoming anti-social with my once/week posts:eek: Seems like when the warmer weather came, my time went out the window....

Hopefully more later..

Busy week. Don't remember what I did Tue. and Wed. I didn't get anything in. Today I did Tonique 2b and some of the bridge matwork.

Laurie, glad you like Insanity. I like having them to add in to my other workouts.

Sue, so you didn't like Walking Stronger. I have it but haven't tried it yet. Are you still walking at lunch?

Susan, you are doing great on you rotation. I never did Kenpo when I had P90X either.

Lala, was Pyramid the cardio workout or the weight workout of Cathe's.

Cheryl, I like circuits also. Haven't done any in a while. I'll have to get back to those.

Hello!:) Well, Kenpo did not happen yesterday as scheduled due to life getting in my way! :mad: So I took yesterday as my rest day. Today will be Kenpo and I am really in a mood to punch too!:eek: I am very ready for Spring Break next week! Actually it starts tomorrow for me. I have to take my DD to an appointment in the morning so I took the day off! I am coming home to watch our girls play Bball on TV!

Looks like the weather is going to be perfect next too! Yea!

Thank you Karen!:D My DD was tired of my pic on Facebook so she insisted on taking a new one!:p

Today is supposed to be StretchX but I feel like doing "more". Might get on the elliptical while watching the girls Bballl game too. Tomorrow we are going to Milwaukee and staying at hotel and then taking the kids to the Bucks game on Sunday. It'll be a nice little get away. But before we leave I am doing Cardio X!:D

TGIF!! Yesterday I had a meeting, so was a busy day. This morning was Max Interval Circuit, and yesterday was Max Recovery.

Karen, Keep up the great work on your workouts. I really think that adding Insanity workouts at least once a week will be great for upping my endurance.

Susan, Our spring break doesn't happen until after Easter, this school always seems to be the opposite of everyone else. Have fun at the Bucks game, and wait until you see this group of six guys that cheer. They where given season tickets by Andrew Bogit, and they have to stand and cheer through the whole game. They also have to be to every home game, and if they don't they stop getting the season tickets. Apparently they are doing some great cheers.

Today I did Max Cardio Conditioning and Cardio Abs.

Susan, have fun at the Bucks game and enjoy your little getaway and of course Cardio X.

Laurie, I get really sore every time I do Max Recovery mostly in the abs.

My parent's are coming up for my DS16 birthday. They will be up sometime today and leaving after lunch tomorrow.
