Good Morning!

Wanted to touch base. I've been sick the last 5 days. A quick run down.
Thursday I put 10 miles on the elliptical with Cardio Coach Press Play. Friday is when the crude kicked into high gear. I did manage to do ICE Metabolic Total Body. Saturday I had my Tabata Bootcamp training all day. We workout during the training. That was a long day not feeling well and running a fever. Sun, Mon, Tues, and today I did not workout. Trying to get my body healthy again. Sunday went to walk in clinic and doc said I either have bronchitis or influenza. Put me on a Z pack for the antibiotic.

We'll see how I feel tomorrow morning to see if I can get some kind of workout in. Obviously nothing strenuous but something would be nice.

Sorry you have not been feeling well. I can't imagine having the energy to get through the workouts you accomplished over the weekend while being sick.

I have focused on cardio this week. Trying not to aggravate the shoulder. Yesterday was elliptical cardio again and today is a rest day.

I see you missed that I started the March check in on Tuesday. Glad I saw this one or we have missed each other this week and you think I am taking time off again LOL. I know I have had a bit of those.

Try to give your body a chance to rest.
 
It's supposed to be in the 70's most of this week. I am so excited.

Today was Muscle Endurance. No workouts this past weekend though.

Hope you have recovered and feeling better.

I did miss that you started the March check in. Sorry about that.

Saturday was my first workout for a week. I had my Tabata Bootcamp class and I did pretty good. Still dealing with the cough. It's better but it's just lingering on. I think I'll see how this week goes and if it doesn't start getting better, I might go back in to see my doc so she can listen to my lungs and my make sure the bronchitis is gone. I still have sinus congestion too. At least I feel much better that I did last week.

We're supposed to get into the 60's this week and I'm looking forward to that.

Last night had my kickboxing class. Did okay during that. This morning I did Gym Style Chest & Tri's. I'm pretty sure I'll be feeling that tomorrow. Chest & tri's feel spent, which feels good after a week of not lifting.

I'm going back to the doc today. We'll see what she says.

This morning it was already 56 outside. Today is supposed to be the warmest day out of the week.

Oh yeah.. chest and tri's are talking to me this morning. Feels good though being out of commission for a week. This morning I did ICE Low Impact Sweat. That was the first time doing that one and I really like it. Legs were definitely feeling it.

Glad I went back to the doc yesterday. She said my lungs are still really congested. Thankfully it hasn't turned into pneumonia. Bronchitis is still lingering on. She put me on 5 days or prednisone, a 10 day antibiotic, and an inhaler. I'm hoping this knocks it out of me. I don't like taking all that stuff but I need to get this gone.

Met with my Tuesday client last night and that went well. Got her on exercise routine. We'll meet once a week so I can see how she's doing. She'll be working on her own the other days. She seem determined so that's good.

Supposed to be another nice day today, I think in the 60's.
 
The meds should help. The doctor gives my youngest prednisone when his asthma is really bad or he has pneumonia.

Tuesday was elliptical cardio. My hamstrings were sore. I guess all those leg presses from Muscle Endurance. I took a mental health day from work. Stayed home and did some things around the house. The weather was beautiful. I let the windows up, played music and enjoyed the fresh air.

Today was elliptical cardio again.

I haven't done ME in a long time. All those leg presses are hard. I'm sure it felt good to take a mental health day from work. Today for us is a back into the mid 40's, then tomorrow back into the 50's.

My glutes are feeling that low impact from yesterday. Holy moly! This morning I did Gym Style Back, Shoulders, and biceps. Heck my chest and tri's are still feeling Tuesdays workout.

This morning I did 5 miles on the elliptical. I thought my I was really going to be feeling yesterdays workout but so far not too bad, unless it decides to hit me more tomorrow.
 
It was cool over the weekend and not much sun expected this week either. I want last week's weather back.

Today was Xtrain Burnsets chest, back and shoulders.

Yesterday I slept in since I had my kickboxing class last night. This morning, I don't know what I was thinking... I did RWH Chest, Shoulders, and Tri's.. OMG muscles are spent.

By me, Saturday temperature wise wasn't bad. The same came out on and off. Sunday was cool and rainy. We've been dealing with fog the last couple mornings. Almost hit 2 deer this morning and then further in my drive to work I came across 2 more standing at the edge of the road. It's bad enough driving in the dark yet alone dark and foggy. We're supposed to have storms and high winds today and tomorrow. I'm so ready for spring.

I initially was going to do Burnsets and then decided to beat myself up and do RWH.

Had a hard time deciding what to do for a workout today so I did ICE Low Impact Sweat. I liked that workout so I thought I'd do it again. We'll see if my legs do a better job handling it afterwards. I know last week my legs felt it for a few days.

Last night it rained quite a bit and stormed and this morning it was very rainy on my way into work and windy.
 
My luck seems to just be bad now. You know I did Burn sets on Monday. What I didn't tell you was I hurt my lower back during the rows. I was hoping it was just temporary but I was pain all day. I got in bed when I got home. It's better but not enough to risk it getting worst. I told my mom that my body seems to be going haywire in my older age. This is so frustrating and I feel like I have not been able to work out consistently due to one injury or another. Argh..

Glad you have your energy back and finding those kick butt workouts this week.

I managed 30 minutes of elliptical cardio this morning. Back is better but wanted to take it easy.

Temperatures are expected to be high 30's on Sunday. Isn't that crazy?

Happy Friday!

Yesterday I did RWH Back, delts, and bi's...again muscles were spent by the time I was done, especially my bi's. This morning I did 5.5 miles on the elliptical. Been in training the last couple days at work and it's been mentally exhausting.

Sorry that you've been having bad luck lately. Be careful with that lower back. I've had my lower back go out plenty of times so I feel for you. Glad it's doing better.

This weather has been crazy. It was snowing and about 34 by me this morning. It would have been pretty if it was December. In March.. not so much. o_O

It is cold on this Saturday morning. We are expecting some snow flurries tomorrow so I will have to wait and see. Crazy weather.

Got in 45 minutes on the elliptical and then did some ab work. The back is definitely feeling better.

I didn't go to church today but I did workout. I got in 40 minutes of elliptical cardio.

Good Morning!

Saturday I had my Tabata Bootcamp class. That went well. Sunday was no workout. Last night I was supposed to have my kickboxing class and only one person showed up and she said she'd rather go home and go for a walk. I had slept in, in the morning cause I figured I'll get my workout in last night. By the time I got home and I had to get my lunch ready for today and eat some dinner it was getting late so I got an extra rest day.

Today I started the Metabolic Prime workout by Jade Teta. We do about a 2 min warm up. Then the main workout is 15min long. We did 5 exercises for 45 min. and repeated it 4 rounds (I think). His thing with the workouts is "work until you can't, rest until you can". Then you have the option to do a burnout session after, which I do...OMG that was hard. I followed that with 20 min on the elliptical at a casual pace. I'm going to try this for a while. Its supposed to help re-ignite your metabolism. Of course, to get most out of it, the eating needs to be on target.

We had snow on Saturday as well. I'm done with cold damp weather. I'm ready for some warm temps. Today is supposed to be in the 50's. Tomorrow in the 40's with rain and Thurs around 38 with rain/snow mix. North of me is supposed to get belted with 6-12" of snow. Yuck!!:eek:

Glad to hear your back is doing better. I can't believe this weekend is Easter already. Seems so weird that it's in March this year.

Today was 5 miles on the elliptical at a steady pace. Then I followed that with the extended stretch from STS. My legs are feeling it from yesterday but not too bad.

Supposed to be windy today. The crappy weather coming this afternoon. We're only supposed to get between 1-3". North of me is supposed to still get the 6-12"....No thanks!

The sun is out and it's 70 today. I got in 30 minutes on elliptical because I was short on time.

Trying to keep this eating on track so I understand what you mean.

We got out for spring break today. Looking forward to a few days of doing nothing.
