Good Morning!

Send those 70's my way. We have winter storm warnings all day today until about 10pm tonight. It's been a mix of rain, sleet, & snow.:(

I get so frustrated with myself and my eating. I do so well during the day and when I get home it's more of a challenge. I think some of it has to do with the stress of the day. I nibble more than I should. I'm really trying to do better around dinner time and weekends.

This morning I did Metabolic Prime workout B and the burnout session again. Followed by 20 min on the elliptical at a casual pace. Those burnout sessions are tough. The last exercise we do in there is a burpee into 4 push-ups finishing with a squat jump and we do this for a minute, well more like do what you can for a minute. Needless to say I take many rests and then try and do a few more.

This morning I did 5 miles on the elliptical followed by the STS extended stretch.

DH went home to see his mom for her birthday so it's just me and the boys.

Xtrain chest, back and shoulders for my Saturday morning workout. I chose the regular one and not Burnsets because I knew I didn't want to go too heavy. My Biceps are hollering at me today and worked them on Thursday. Hence why I do love that Burnsets edition.

Happy Easter. I did 9 of the 12 segments of Cardio Leg Blast followed by 50 walking lunges with 5lb weights.

Wow... 9 segments of Cardio Leg Blast followed with 50 walking lunges. You are on a roll with those leg workouts. I love Cardio Leg blast but I know I'd have to go way lighter that what I was able to do before hip surgery. I don't think I've done leg blast since I had my hip replaced.

Saturday I did Workout C of Metabolic Prime and the Burnout session followed by 20 min on the elliptical. Dang that burnout session is hard. Yesterday I was supposed to do a 20 minute walk but I had a bunch of other stuff I needed to get done before we went over by the in-laws for Easter. This morning started in with Workout A & Burnout session from MP ended with 20 min on the elliptical. I'm trying to figure out what exercise fried the very upper part of my quads. It's the very tip of that muscle (quad/hip flexors). They are still sore today. I'm not sure what it was that fried them.

You incorporate such a variety in your workouts. Sounds like Burnouts are tough.

Today was Burnsets Biceps and Triceps and part of Core 1. Back to work tomorrow.

Good Morning!

This morning was 5 miles on the elliptical and the STS stretch.

The burnout sessions are really hard. Especially the last one. You do a burpee into a push up and when you come up you go into a squat jump. The second time you do it you go down into the burpee and do 2 push-ups and 2 squat jumps and next time it's 3 and so on. You do this for a minute. OMG... I'm dying by the time that minute is over with. The first one is 4 push-ups and 4 high knee jogs, then burpees and they do the push-up at the bottom, then 4 mountain climbers up into 4 switch jumps, then squat jumps, then the last one I was telling you about above. You do each of these for a minute. He keeps saying "work until you can't, rest until you can". My cool down is the 20 min on the elliptical.

WHAT....that's a crazy kick butt workout. I can barely get thru a regular Hiit workout. Speaking of Hiit, I started with RWH Plyo 2. I knew I wouldn't make it to the end so I had the elliptical waiting LOL. At least I got in my 35 minutes of Cardio.

Good Morning!

Today was MP Workout B, the Burnout, and 20 min on the elliptical. I like that 20 min on the elliptical at the end. I go at a nice casual pace and let my heart rate get back down. Finished with a nice stretch.

RWH Plyo's are tough. The few times I did those I couldn't keep up at her pace. I was always a little behind them. That is a tough workout. We love our ellipticals don't we. ;)
 
I feel fortunate to be able to finish my workout on the elliptical some days.

Today was RWH back, shoulders and Biceps.

My favorite snack for this week has been apples and strawberries with a Greek yogurt mixed with organic peanut butter dip. Yummy.

RWH Back, shoulders, and bi's is a tough one. Way to go!! I love apples. What kind of apples do you like best?

Today was 5 miles on the elliptical and the STS extended stretch. Had a mentally rough day at work yesterday (worse than normal). Woke up with a tension headache this morning (worse than normal). I have headaches often. Don't really know what it feels like not to have one. I'm so used to them, it has become the norm which isn't good.

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

Today was MP workout C which was pulsing squats, ratchet curls, bent over row with a tricep kickback, front raises & side raises, and last was mountain climbers. Followed that with the lovely burnout session. Cooled down with 20 min on the elliptical and then stretched out those hard working muscles.

Is in the low 30's this morning. Definitely on the chilly side.
