No weekend workouts for me.

DS17 was an escort for a friends daughter at the Debutante so we had that event on Sunday night.

Got in 40 minutes of elliptical cardio this morning.

Saturday I did Metabolic Total Body from ICE. Later I had my Tabata Bootcamp class which went very well again. Sunday was no workout. Spent the day cleaning up the house from all the friends we had over on Saturday night. Monday I ended up passing on the workout. I woke up and it felt like a truck hit me. I ended up working from home. My sinuses were really bad, had the chills, just ached. Plus Saturday afternoon I ruptured a blood vessel in my right knee. That thing is still swollen. I kept elevating it yesterday and icing it. It's getting better but is still sore and swollen. At least you can see my knee cap now.

Back to work today and I did do XTrain Burn Sets Chest, Back and shoulders and surprisingly had pretty good strength. Better than I was expecting.

I overslept this morning so no workout. We are headed down south very early tomorrow for another college visit. Will be back Sunday night so I will catch up with you tgen.

This morning I did All Out Low Impact HIT. I wanted to keep it low impact until my knee heals. Did real good.

Today I did Burn Sets Bi's & Tri's and did Core 1 as well. Despite having a massive headache when I woke up, I had pretty good strength. That surprised me. We are working on refinancing our house and an appraiser is coming through tomorrow morning so between everything trying to make sure the house is I order for that. My DH has a tendency to leave things pile up for an extreme amount of time and then has to scramble to tidy up. It was all stuff he needed to take care of himself as I didn't know what to do with it or where to go with it. Between snowmobiling stuff and work stuff he brought home and other paperwork he piles up. I was picking on him about that this morning. Told him the majority of the clean up was all his stuff. He at least agreed with me. ;) I will be glad when this week is over with.

Today I did Cardio Coach 6 and go in 8.15 miles. Other than glad it's Friday.. not much to report.

A quick run down of the weekend. Saturday my workout was my Tabata Bootcamp class. Sunday was my no workout day. This morning I did Rock 'm Sock'm Kickbox. I like that workout.. it's fun!

Sunday afternoon DH and I were in Elite Nutrition and ended up in a conversation with the guy that was working and he's a personal trainer and own's his own business and I told him I was a CPT as well. He said he was looking for another trainer to work with some rehab people. He said he's finding out that he's too intimidating to some people. The guy is a competitive bodybuilder... I was intimidated by him. He gave me his business card and I emailed him Sunday afternoon. We'll see if he gets back to me and what he says.

Good Morning!

This morning was XTrain Chest, Back, and Shoulders. Last week when I did weights I felt nice and strong and this morning it felt harder than normal. I guess we'll have days like that. I've been feeling so wiped out lately. Actually ever since the holidays. Not sure what the deal is.

We had a little snow last night. I don't think it was any more than an 1". Enough to make the roads slippery.

We got back Sunday night. Since a blizzard hit our area while we were away, I wasn't sure if we would have to delay our drive back by a day. The main roads were clear so we could. School has been closed since the day we left so my boys haven't missed anything. We will probably return to school tomorrow but I anticipate a 2hr delay.

I have piles all the time around my house. I just can't seem to stay caught up. Our trip was long and tiring. I was going to workout today but think I am going to unpack, do laundry and catch up on a few things instead.

Just wanted to check in.
 
Today was 10 minutes of core from Horizontal Conditioning and 30 minutes of elliptical cardio. It is a delay for school so we get to ease back in as there has not been school since last Wednesday .
 
Glad you got back home safely. How much snow did you get? We've been getting a little snow the last couple of days but it's either been a dusting or some days about an inch. How did the trip go?

This morning I did HiiT 30/30 and then put in Athletic Training and did the step cardio part and then a few more of the step exercises after that, that get your heart rate up there.

Haven't gotten an email back at all from the guy I met on Sunday for the possible personal training job. If it was meant to be something will happen.

This morning I did XTrain Bi's, Tri's and some of the core work. Muscles felt much stronger today then Tuesday when I lifted. One of these days I'll have to get out one of the Horizontal Conditioning DVD's.

DH is getting ready to head out Saturday morning to go snowmobiling in Michigan for a few days. He'll be back Tuesday afternoon. I always miss him when he's gone but also like my "me" time. ;)

Today I did Cardio Coach 8 and did 9 miles. That is probably one of my least favorite Cardio Coaches. He's got a long challenge in there that you do twice. I gotter done. ;) Very glad it's Friday. I'm also looking forward to the new few days by myself while DH is snowmobiling.

Hope you are enjoying your "me" time. I meant to post yesterday but I forgot. It was 30 minutes of elliptical cardio. Today I chose the all step premix from Cardio Fusion.

My abs are still sore from the little bit of HC that I did the other day. It is truly a tough workout and I don't even try to do the whole thing anymore.
 
I forgot to say that our trip went well. He liked the school but the college town is rural. Plenty of places to eat but not much to do. DH reminded him that the school itself provides plenty to do. It is far from home and he would have to fly so that would be an added expense. Actually, two colleges he is considering would require a flight. I think they are both fits for him. There is one closer to home but still out of state that I don't think is a good fit at all. It's too large and campus spread out. I think he may get lost in the crowd there. He feels the same way but knows it's closer to home. I know it's stressful and a difficult decision to make. We do have a local community college as an option even though I want him to go away. Hopefully he will figure it out soon.
 
My Sunday workout was 45 minutes of elliptical cardio. Decided it couldn't be a rest day since I have had enough of those:).
