Good morning BBs,

TGIF!! This morning I did a treadmill workout. I got it from a magazine a while back and it is 60 minutes long and entitled "The Ultimate Walking Workout" and it is tough! I zapped about 500 calories. Then I did an abs add-on. I am pooped!

Glad it is Friday though. Anyone have big weekend plans? Not much lined up for me. My parents bought some land and I may go out there and give my dad a hand with some stuff...would be nice to be outdoors all day and get some activity. Sure I will find more to do all weekend once I get planning.

Have a great day everyone!

Morning BB's,

Also glad that Friday is here. Today will be PS BB, Abs, and Imax 2 Premix Intervals 1-5. Tomorrow will be a 5 mile run and PS Legs Floorwork only. Sunday will be stretching.

Thea, that sounds like a great treadmill workout. Is it intervals?

This weekend we will not be doing much. My eldest DD has a swim meet on Sunday, so we will be spending most of that day at the pool. :D Otherwise it will be house cleaning. x( I think we will be going to see a movie on Saturday. The girls want to see Chicken Little.

Have a great day!

Good morning,

It's another busy day here at work. That's good though... I like being busy.

After work I'm going to go for a run, then do abs and stretch. The weekend will include two more runs, PUB and PLB.

Thea, do you have your own treadmill? If so, what kind is it, if you don't mind me asking? I go back and forth between thinking it would be great to have one, despite the fact that we have no space in our house, and thinking that I should just join a gym. I'd like to try spinning too.

This weekend I'll probably start studying for my next biology test and help my mom put up her storm windows and do other house-type stuff that she needs. I want to go shopping too... maybe I'll do that tomorrow afternoon.

Have a great weekend!

Good Afternoon!

Jogged 4 miles outside this morning. You can tell it's getting colder if for no other reason the lack of folk out and about early a.m. Normally I see at least a dozen other people walking or jogging. This morning I didn't see anyone until mile 4 and then I felt a little silly because the guy was jogging in shorts and a sweatshirt. I had on leggings, sweat pants, 3 layers of shirts, a hat, mittens and a lightweight jacket! LOL I was overdressed actually but it's always so hard to figure out how warmly to dress. I read you're supposed to dress like it's 10 degrees warmer but that doesn't seem enough. Oh, well I'll experiment and get it right. Also did abs from PS-BBA and PS-SLA. Tonight I want to do the 20 min. run I skipped earlier in the week and Stretchmax.

This weekend we have home remodeling to do! Yah - NOT! I love it when it's all done anyway.;) Our woven woods and chandelier came in this week so we will be installing at least some of it.

On Sunday we're headed to Nautigal in Madison to meet family members for brunch.

Enjoy the milder weather the next couple of days!

Ellen--yes I have my own treadmill. It is a Pacemaster, can't remember the model. It was a higher end one and it has been great and very durable. It is so nice having my own. I do like to run and walk outside but that is not always doable. I have gotten more than my money's worth the 3 years I have had it.

Here is the treadmill workout if anyone wants to try it:

0:00-5:00 3.5mph, 1% incline
5:00-7:00 4.0mph, 3% incline
7:00-9:00 4.0mph, 5% incline
9:00-11:00 4.0mph, 7% incline
11:00-14:00 4.0mph, 9% incline
14:00-17:00 3.8mph, 11% incline
17:00-20:00 4.0mph, 9% incline
20:00-50:00, repeat minutes 5-20 2 times
50:00-56:00 3.5mph, 12% incline
56:00-60:00 3.2mph, 0% incline

Sue, I always overdress if I run/walk outside in the cold! I have read in a few resources to dress as if it were 20 degrees warmer than what it really is. So, if it is 40 degrees, dress how you would for 60 degrees and so on.

Better get back to work. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi!
Did ME/BC bonus combo. Haven't done that one in awhile.

No workouts this weekend, other than a bike ride, tennis or a walk.

Have a good weekend!

Hi Ladies! Sorry I'm late to the Friday party lol. It's been a super busy week and my online time for fun has been very limited.

I am finally back on track! After last weekend's carbfest, I got down to business and am down 6.5 pounds since Monday. I know it's water weight, but it's still encouraging to see the scale moving in the right direction. My back is fine now, but I won't be able to do step or bosu for another week at least. :( Thank goodness I have an elliptical so I can do something in the cardio dept.

I am going to a play tonight but just the play-no dinner or drinks. I'm really hunkering down and learning to say no to some socializing. Just cuz someone asks doesn't mean I have to say yes, right?

I'll try to check in more next week. Monday I have a seminar - woo hoo what fun!

Have a great weekend ladies!
