Morning BB,

Had a great weekend, didn't enjoy picking the wood ticks off of us. :p Really bad up by my brothers cabin. Went to my neice and nephews graduation on Friday, and we made it there with plenty of time to spare. Was really strange that it was at 8pm, so we didn't get to the cabin until after 11 pm. On Sunday we headed back to my sisters for the graduation party, and then from there we headed home. I didn't work out yesterday, because I just felt crappy from TTOM. :(

This morning started out great with 40/20 and 1:1 Killer Abs. After work will be church, and then Disc 16 Chest, Shoulders & Triceps.

Laurie, sounds like your weekend was busy but fun. There are lots of ticks up here. Nice workout today.

I biked 12 miles and ran 1 mile on Sat., on Sun. I did a Slim in 6 tape, can't remember which one(I found tapes for .95 at a used video shop so I thought I would try some of them. I actually liked it. Mon. didn't do anything and today I only got in a 2 mile run. No motivation lately.

Just got back from a fast pitch softball game of my DD7. She is really loving it. Soccer is done for the season as we will miss the last tournament to go to my BIL this coming weekend for his sons graduation.

This morning was KPC with no abs. Didn't get the weight workout done last night, forgot that I had to take youngest to dance practice. :rolleyes: Oh well I will get it in tonight.

Karen, What a bargin you got on those tapes. You and I had the same feeling on the workout for Monday. LOL I think all the driving just made me feel like not working out too. Have a great time at the graduation. Next year is DD's Senior year, and boy have we been getting the flyers for Senior pictures. :rolleyes: Guess we need to get that done too. :rolleyes:

Laurie - Good luck with those senior pictures. It's so much more nowadays than it was back when we graduated. Even engagement pictures have gotten out of hand. A co-worker had over 100 pictures taken in downtown Milwaukee with all sorts of background changes, different poses, some black & white, etc.

Karen - 95 cents is a great deal! I've always wanted to try Slim in 6.

Didn't spend as much time in the yard as I hoped because it was too hot. I did get a lot done around the house though and cleaned off the deck and deck furniture. Didn't do all the workouts I hoped to do either. Just kept putting it off until later in the day and before I knew it, it was bedtime. Sunday was the laziest day with a 2 hour nap in the afternoon! Monday night was my only workout over the weekend and that was Ripped 1000. Was proud that I finished all 70 pushups on my toes even because I haven't been doing many pushups lately. Last night I did KCM's Step Kickboxing (the older one).

DD had to watch a French movie for French II. It had subtitles so I could watch it, too. "Les Choristes" (The Chorus). It was nominated for an Academy award a few years ago in the foreign movie category. We all liked it but it sure is different from American movies.

Today I did disk 10 of STS and hope to run with DH later.

Laurie, I have been meaning to do KPC. I love that workout. I find I do better with weight workouts lately instead of cardio. Just out of the cardio mode. My DD will be a senior next year too. I will just have one of her friends do them. Nothing to over the top.

Sue, good you got some work done around the house. I think that counts as a workout.:D I have ripped 1000 haven't done it forever. I like KCM step kickbox one. I remember it being very fast. I would like to pull that one out again also.

Hi! I´m back...for a while. had an awesome weekend. Not only DDs graduation and party, but also FILs 90th bday, so the whole family was here. We had over 100 people for the grad party...and DD was worried that no one would come. Did get some good workouts in, especially some runs, since my 10K is Friday.

Sounds like you all had a good memorial weekend, too, despite the ticks!

Karen, some of these kids take great pictures. One of DDs friends had a friend of hers take her fotos and they turned out great! And they can be much more creative than studio fotos!

Sue...70 pushups!! Super!!

Got the weight workout finished last night, will have to remember that one is a goodie. Really toasted the Chest & Shoulders. This morning was an Interval treadmill workout from Fitness Mag, and Coremax #3. Have a rehearsal for DD13's dance tonight, so I don't think the Leg workout will get done tonight. :confused:

Sue, When DD17 came home with her yearbook I was amazed at the different pictures. When I had mine done, everyones sort of looked the same. LOL I do the same thing with workouts if I don't get them done right away in the morning. I should know that I will probably put it off, and then never get it done. :rolleyes: Hard to catch everything the first time when you have sub titles to read too. :D

Karen, My sister did the photos for my niece and nephew, and they really turned out very nice. She has been into photography since we where in HS. I will have to ask her what she did for the duplication process, because she had the 2010 logo in the corner of the photo also. She even had one of them in black & white. And if I know my sister, it wasn't expensive at all. ;)

Lala, Wow 100 people, that must have been a great party! :D Can't believe that your race is tomorrow! That is my DH's 50th b'day! Congrats to your DD on her graduation.

Karen - Yes, that KCM workout is very fast. It's frustrating when you're first learning it but I like it now that I know the moves. Good fat burner and really works the obliques with all the twisting moves.

Laurie - I'll see how crazy they get with senior pics when DD brings home her yearbook. Until then, I have 3 years to find someone to do them for us without having to take out a home equity loan. ;) My DH turns 50 in October. Are you throwing a party for yours? I haven't planned anything yet for mine.

Lala - Glad your party went well and congrats to FIL on his 90th birthday! Good luck in your race tomorrow! Let us know how it goes. I'll keep my fingers crossed for good weather.

Hi, Susan! I'm sure you're probably busy with end of year school stuff. Hopefully you're finding time for yourself.

Last night I did Power Circuit cardio (from CTX series) and Imax3 step only premix (no blasts). I'm planning to do Musclemax Upper tonight. DH & DS have baseball practice (DH coaches) so I should be able to get my workout in. Just have to do it before I sit down and get comfortable. ;)
 
Today was my rest day. And last day with students!!!! I feel so free already, although we do go in tomorrow.

Karen and Sue, haven´t tried the KCM step kickbox, but I love that kind of workout, so maybe I´ll have to check into it!

Sue, I can relate to doing ANYTHING before sitting down to get comfortable...I just can´t get up again...except to get to bed!

Laurie, do you have anything planned for DH´s bday? Tell him happy birthday from the BBs!!

STS Disc 16 Legs is finished. Nothing else for me today, we are going out to eat for DH's b'day.

Sue, I have not done Power Circuits in ages. :eek: Great workout though. I have not planned a party for DH yet, with DD17 being at state, I didn't want to have a party without her. Might have one in 2 weeks, I still have time to plan. :D It just is really hard, because DH spends most June weekends at the faire site. :confused: How do you plan a party when the guest of honor isn't going to be home until after 7pm! :rolleyes:

Laurie - 2 weeks is plenty of time to plan a party. (Well, depending where you want to have it.) And he won't expect it because his birthday has passed. Now as for how to get the Guest of Honor to show up. . . I'm sure you'll think of something creative! :D

Well, I just couldn't bring myself to workout last night. I was so tired I wanted to go to bed at 6:30! This morning I fit in 2 Leslie miles and tonight I'll try to do all of MM instead of just the upper like I had planned for last night.
