HI ladies! I was so busy yesterdy I didn't get to check in so I thought I better start today! Hope everyone is having a good week!

Today was pilates for 40 minutes and Kickbox cardio only. Later I'll be going for a jog.

This week seems to be taking forever... it feels like Friday.

Stay strong- Susan

Morning BB's,

Today will be ME and 200 walking lunges. I'm getting better at these and may have to increase the number. Maybe do an extra 25. }(

My girls have a half day of school today, and then have tomorrow off. I wish I was them. ;)

Susan, I'm with you on the Friday thing. I've been that way since Wednesday!

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hi BBs!
I am still sick so no workouts. It seems like it is breaking up a little so might try something tonight if I am feeling up to it. Just a really nasty cold and slight fever (or hot flashes but haven't had these recently).

Glad to see the rest of you are healthy and getting in good workouts.

Jill - there is talk that more TLTs will be coming but if they do it would probably be later this year or early 2007. Could be 6 of them.

Good morning,

Today I ran about four miles. I'm totally with both of you on wishing it was Friday. I feel like i've just been trudging from week to week — I don't know if it's winter blahs or something else. Susan, your signature says it all: stay strong :)

One of my best friends just signed up for the Chicago marathon, which is held in October. She's the one I'm running the Indianapolis half-marathon with in May, so I told her I'd consider trying to do the marathon after I see how the Indy run goes. I've been enjoying training for the most part, but I don't know if I have the will power to run for potentially five hours! We'll see :) Now it's in my head, so I'm thinking about it!

Have a great day,

Ellen

Hi everyone,

I'm starting to feel a little under the weather today myself. Chilling, kind of have that surreal feeling in my head. Ugh. Popping Vitamin C lozenges. Last night I did a Timesaver workout and 10 minutes of Ab Hits.

Boy, I really admire everyone on the list who is a runner! That's so alien to me. I really appluad you. Marathons - oh my!

Laurie - I feel like I'm getting a little better at walking lunges too! I hope they are doing me some good! I haven't seen the scale budge in awhile, nor are my clothes hanging on me. Sigh.

Marie - hope you feel better soon! Rest up!

Have a great day everyone! Let's make the push to Friday! Puuuuuuush! :) - Sarah

Ellen - I can't remember where you live but do you have a marathon build up program in your area? THe Lakefront Marathon is here early Oct and the Badgerland Striders have a buildup to prepare for this starting in July (I think). DH does this. He is doing his own buildup now for the Trail Breaker marathon in April.

Sarah - hope the Vit C helps so you don't get this. Seems like many are sick right now with some stage of this.

This morning I did the Kickmax Bootcamp Challenge and then went back to do combo 1 which was skipped and the leg drills. Followed up with a little ab and leg work from the Total Body Sculpting dvd so it was very light. First time I ever did the abs section. It's only 3 minutes long (!) so I did it twice.

The kids are off today and tomorrow. DH is with them today - I get them tomorrow. DD has an eye doctor appt. in the morning so I'll take them out for lunch afterwards (hopefully I can talk them into something other than McDonald's or Taco Bell) and maybe a movie in the afternoon. Going to Madison on Sunday to celebrate my mom's birthday. And of course, tonight it's Survivor and figure skating. Go Sasha, Kimmie and Emily!

Planning on doing PS-SLA and some cardio tomorrow, Imax3 on Saturday and the PS uppers again on Sunday.

Everyone have a great weekend and for those that are sick, I hope you get well.

Sue

Hi Sue!

Oh yeah, baby! I'll be TiVo'ing Survivor and watching the figure skating! Sasha did SO well the other night. Proud of her! And Kimmie's nothing to sneeze at, either! We have a great team. Have you been watching "Olympic Ice"? It's a hilarious nightly figure skating show during the Olympics with Mary Carillo. It's a riot. As they say, "crackling good television"! - Sarah

Hi girls. Things are just not going my way lately! I think I am going to have to find a new home for my beloved puppy Mace. I don't have time for lots of details, but he and my mentally disabled son are just not compatible. I'm afraid he's going to bite DS. I haven't decided for sure yet, but it's breaking my heart either way!

Marie, I saw that on VF! I haven't been going there, but read on another board that it was mentioned. So I did some detective work and found the thread where Tracie mentioned it. I haven't been working out at all for weeks. :(

Sue, I saw Sasha skate the other night. That girl skates like a dream!! I wasn't that impressed with Emily, and didn't see Kimmie. But Sasha!! WOW! I can't even hold my leg up that high, let alone do it while skating!!

Sorry I'm so short here, but work calls as usual. :(

Jill - Have you looked into having a dog trainer work with Mace? You might call one and talk to him/her to see if that might help the situation. I can probably give you some names if you want.

Thanks, Marie, but the problem isn't Mace, it's Travis. He's not going to "grow out of" anything.....it's just how he is. He is very easily agitated by activity and has never gotten used to having a dog around. The cats are smart enough to stay away from him, but one of these days Mace is going to bite Travis out of self defense. :(
