Morning BB's,

This morning was 4DS Bootcamp Cardio, 30MTF Kickboxing #2 & Core/Abs. Yesterday I ran outside getting Week 3, Day 1 done of GW28K. Saturday was Drill Max Leg Blast, and Ab Circuit Med Ball Abs.

Busy weekend for us, but I did manage to get most of my baking finished. Only have the cut-out cookies left, I'm planning on getting them baked tonight, then decorate them on Wednesday. Made Gingerbread Dudes yesterday, and they where really tasty. DD12's English teacher must have gotten the recipe from McCormick's web page, because McCormick was on the Ingredient list. I don't know if using Walmart cinnamon will be good enough! :D

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Laurie - Are Gingerbread Dudes a special kind of gingerbread man or just a fun name for them? I love gingerbread cookies but they have to be soft - not the hard crispy kind. LOL on the McCormick spices. I remember seeing recipes with Blue Bonnet margarine when I was a kid and questioned my mom when she tried to use Imperial instead. What can I say? I'm very detail-oriented.:D Are you going to start STS Cardio as soon as you get it? I'm anxious to try 30-30 HIIT and later 40-20 HIIT. (I figure I'll have to work my way up to it.)

Today's workout was Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout. It's pretty easy but I burned 480 calories in an hour. I try to go as heavy as I can with the weights which helps make it harder.

Well, I won our Biggest Loser competition and $60. I made my goal but haven't lost any more weight in the last week mainly due to extra treats here and there. At least I didn't gain! Too many goodies this time of year and I felt deprived not having ANY. We all agreed we're going to keep going to our ultimate goals in the New Year. I bought the other 2 gals a copy of Leslie Sansone 5 Fat Burning Miles because neither one has time to exercise and they've said they want to start. Hopefully this will help them started on an exercise routine. One gal has high cholesterol and the other has other health issues so exercise will greatly benefit them.

Morning BB's,

Today was W3D2 GW28K on the treadmill, because I'm not a fan of wet feet. :D Had a couple of inches on the ground, and the plow didn't come through until I was almost done on the TM. I also got in Basic Stretch from TBS.

Sue, I think a couple of my gingerbread men where a little angry, so I think they where more dude like! :D :D :D The recipe from McCormick is the soft kind, and I think the best recipe I have tried for gingerbread. So is it worth it to get the Last Chance Workout? I have been hesitant to get that one. Congrats on the prize, and I'm hoping you buy something for yourself. ;)

Have a great day!

Hello there! Crazy times!! Had DS's 10th B-day on Friday and yesterday was DD's 13th B-day! Over the weekend I finished up the shopping and I bought myself the 10mn Solutions Belly,Butt and Thigh. I did the entire workout Saturday night. I liked it a lot. Sunday was just busy.... Yestday I only got a 45mn walk in. Today I am doing BFBM.

Sue, congrats on winning! Awesome job! That was very nice of you to buy that for those ladies! I looked at buying that one too but chose the 10mn.

Laurie, glad you are still keeping up with your running. At least one of us is! I do not like running in the slush and muck. Our roads here are very cruddy and slippery. I really think our city is trying to save $ by only plowing when it's absolutely necessary!

You all have a good night!

Susan

Laurie - To be honest, BFBM and Shred are much better than Last Chance. Unless you feel the need to make your BL collection complete, I'd recommend saving your money. Except for 1 move called the Renegade Fly, it's a pretty easy workout. I use 5s on that move and it's HARD. Of course, it's also at the end of the upper body segment so that might be part of the reason it's difficult. Picture being in a plank with dumbells under your hands. Now balance on 1 hand/dumbell and keeping your body parallel with the floor (don't twist), bring the other arm out to the side in a fly movement. Hope you can picture that.

Susan - I can only imagine how crazy it is to have birthdays to plan for in December on top of all the Christmas stuff. At least you're getting some workouts in. Keeps you sane I'll bet. ;) I think we have a couple of burbs around here that are trying to save money on snow plowing and salting. Yes, Menomonee Falls I am talking about you! :p

Have a good night. I did a 30 min. walk at lunch. Need to do more cardio tonight. Maybe a classic Cathe step workout. . .

Morning BB's,

Well I did receive my Shock Cardio, and tried out MMA Boxing. LOVE this workout. The punching segments remind me of the punching in KPC, then she follows this up with an upper body blast, then a lower body blast. The lower body blast really get the HR up, and my favorite on was the 2nd segment with the fast feet switch. There where three of these segments, then Ab work. The ab work was different than what she does normally, but I think there where two familiar ones. A+ on this workout, even though I think some people would consider it Inter/Adv. I used weighted gloves from the 10 min. Sol., and my shoulders are really sore right now.

Susan, Well you will have all the birthdays, holiday celebrations out of the way before the new year starts. But what a busy time that is for you. ;) I'm so glad our township is very good at getting our roads cleared.

Sue, I don't need the workout that badly!:D Thanks for the info. Your description is very good, and I know exactly what you are talking about. I can see where your arms would be exhausted after that.

Have a great day!

Laurie - Did you pay extra to get your Shock Cardio dvds so soon? I don't get mine until today and mine are coming UPS. That boxing ones sounds good. I may have to change my plans and try that one before 30-30 HIIT.

I did Step Works last night. Haven't done that one in ages and forgot how much fun it is. This morning was NYC Latte premix (1 set of each exercise but abs are done twice). Company Christmas party this afternoon so I may have to do more cardio tonight to make up for it!

Hi Gang! Well, I walked for 45mn today and hope to do pilates and 10mn BBT Solutions tonight. Tomorrow I am getting on the elliptical for 60mn then ab work.

Laurie, so glad you enjoyed your new workout! Sue, I hope you have fun trying them out! I watched a clip of the Cardio Core Circuits and it looks so fun! I did not yet order the set cause I was not too sure about them now I wish I had! Well, my Birthday is in January! ;)

Take care- Susan

HI BBs!! This has been a busy week...but VACATION IS HERE :D:D:D
Mon I did KCM 30 kick box (I think, or maybe that was last weekend ) Yesterday was MM and today was CTX kickbox. Shorter workouts, but at least it´s something!

Laurie and Sue...I´m jealous. Didn´t even get an email notice about my STS cardio. Hope that there´s no mix up...I´m so looking forward to them!

Sue, congrats on the biggest loser! I think a great goal for over these vacations is simply to maintain.

Susan, good workouts, especially with all you have going on!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Morning BB's,

I'm ready to head downstairs to run on the treadmill, because it is just to slippery outdoors this morning. But thought I would send off a message to all of you before I do that. ;)

Sue, I ordered USPS, so they where really fast! :D Guess they had Santa's sleigh! :D I would like to try one of the Hiit workouts before I start my Jillian rotation on Sunday, so maybe I can get one in tomorrow.

Susan, Oh I think that Shock Cardio would be a great birthday present. I'm not sure on the step workouts though, because of the two left feet that I have.

Lala, Since I ordered USPS I didn't receive a notice, but they said that even if you had UPS you may not get a notice either. Don't know why it happened that way. I'm hoping you get a nice Christmas surprise. :D

Karen, Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Hello fellow BB's!! Merry Christmas!

This morning I woke and had to shovel some very heavy snow for an hour and I will be getting on the elliptical for an hour in just a bit. Otherwise today is busy with cleaning, laundry and wrapping!! I told DH I have not wrapped one single gift yet! Last Christmas Eve I was up until 1am wrapping and organizing!

Lala, I hope your DVD's come soon! Maybe they'll arrive today!

Laurie, It was slick out there today so you were smart to go to the treadmill!

Sue, hope you have a great holiday! I have gained 3 pounds so far. Hope that's it, on top of that my cycle started so I am hoping it's just that time of the month weight!

We are sticking home today and tomorrow. I will make us a nice turkey dinner tomorrow and we'll watch movies and relax. Saturday we head to the in-laws for their Christmas. We don't get with my family until next weekend!

If you are traveling, be safe and enjoy yourself~!
Take care- Susan

Hi gals,

Just popping in to wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS. Hope you all have a great Christmas with family. Keep up the good workouts.

Susan, nice you get to relax and stay home the next few days. DH has to work today so we will be traveling tomorrow to visit my parents. Hope the weather is not too bad. Looks like your organizational skills have improved since last year. You are a day ahead.

Laurie, what kind of Jillian rotation are you going to do? Also, did you see any results from STS? You sure are doing great with your running. Is it getting easier?

Lala, nice workouts even though they were short. Enjoy your vacation. I don't have my Shock Cardio yet either. I won't even get to try them until next week before we head to my brother in laws for New Years. Is your family coming home for Christmas?

Sue, congratulations on winning the Biggest Loser contest. No doubt in my mind that you would win. Did you get your step tape in the other night?

Have a wonderful day.
