Morning all, I'm sorry I was mia at the end of the week. I just have a very hard time getting on my computer when I'm at home. It must have something to do with the fact that I am on one all day long at work!

Todays workout was a 2m run, P90X chest & back plus Ab Ripper 200.

Thursday I went shopping, and cleaned the house. Friday I got DD15 to the school to head up to the state meet. Her teammate came in 24th out of almost 200 runners! So she did really well. The boys team came in 16th, but I don't know how many teams where actually in that race. Friday I spent most of the day reading, and just being a lazy bum. DH took DD11 and I out for dinner, which was nice. Saturday we spend most of our time in the yard getting all the dead branches burned. We have about 5 box elder trees that are dead:(, so they are spewing dead branches all over the place. :( Sunday was chuch, and our choir director told us that he was resigning. So his last day as director is Thanksgiving. :( Had a call from our Elder last night asking me not to quit the choir. I guess it will all depend on how they handle this. I can't practice during the weekdays, because I want to be with my family at night. :D

Hope everyone had a great weekend,

Laurie

Laurie - So do you have a new choir director who wants to practice during the week? I understand not wanting to add anything else to your busy weeknight schedule. Bad timing losing your choir director a month before Christmas. :(

I did Step Blast combos 1-3 on Saturday, GS-BSB Timesaver on Sunday and Punch, Kick and Jam this morning. Also did lots of yardwork on Friday and Sunday. Our cheap plastic rake was literally worn down to the point there was nothing left to pull the leaves anymore. I was wondering why it was harder work than I remember! :p Guess it's time for a new rake.

Have a splendid Monday everyone!

Hello ladies!

Well, that 4 day weekend went by way too fast!:p I had a long list of things to get done and I did all but one. My workouts were much the same, walking and T-Tapp. I thought my body would stop aching after a bit with this new exercise stuff but my rear still aches!! LOL!:D

Other than running errands, trick or treating, cleaning, organizing, etc, I did not do much! ;)

Laurie, sorry your choir director up and quit on you all. I hope you can all find a time when it's convenient for everyone!

Sue, that's funny about your rake! My DH asked me if I was going to mow the lawn today (No!) and I said we need to rake first. He says "Just mow over all of them!" If he wants to mow over them he can but I am not going to !

Tonight is our last night of Confirmation for the 6th graders. We were supposed to go 2 more weeks but Pastor is being a bone marrow donor for his sister and is taking time off I guess.

Hi to Karen, Dani & Lala !!

A shout out to everyone! It looks like you all enjoyed the weekend. I, too, did raking, raking and mowing, but love being outside. DD20 came home from college so we went skating, and I went with DD16. Also did GS upper body. Today I did GS BSB (am doing Cathe´s Nov rotation) and after school went for a skate. Too nice out to stay inside.

Laurie, I know exactly what you mean about not wanting to go out during the week. Our church choir just does Christmas and Easter and we practice for maybe an hour after church.

Susan, I´m sure the sorness will go away soon. Then it´s time to up the intensity ;)

Sue, You got in some good workouts. My bamboo rake has had it, but they are hard to find and I really like it, so I´m still using it...minus lots of "prongs".

Hi to Dani and Karen!

Morning BB's,

No workout for me yet, because I decided to get in line to vote this morning. LOL! #44 and I was out in 15 min. so not bad at all.

At 5pm DD15 and I will be checking out a health club. She wants to stay in shape during the off season, and this facility has an indoor running track, and a lap pool. I will of course have to join the club also, because she needs adult supervision. Oh the agony of having to use this wonderful equipment that I don't have at home! :p I was calling all over the place, and the facilities that had both of these "required" features where either to far to drive, or more expensive than the Princeton Club. So we will see how we like it, and I must say that the guy I talked to yesterday seemed really nice.

So if all goes well, I will try to get in a workout tonight. Was thinking of Interval X+.

Sue, We don't have a new director yet, but the singing during the week is what the pastor wants and our choir director couldn't and wouldn't do weekdays. Pastor feels that we should not be practicing during the hour between our two services. He feels that we all should be in bible classes during that time. Oh yes very bad timing because there would only be three weekends to practice before Christmas. Sounds like a lot of us where working in the nice weather this weekend.

Susan, Sounds like those T-Tapp workouts are working your lower body good. When I had done the 1:1 Plyo Leg workout last week, my thutt area hurt for 3 days. So hard to sit at times. LOL!

Lala, What a great weekend you had too! We practice singing every Sunday, because we sing every Sunday. It can get old at times, but it is so much fun. :D

Laurie

Just wanted to give a quick hello. I have been just busy. I have no clue what my workout is today-will explain later. Hope everyone enjoys our last bit of warm weather. I will check in later.

Hey there! Forgot to check-in yesterday! I was busy raking a ton of leaves!

Today I walked for 30mn this morning, plus I am walking my son to school for "Walk to School Day" and then of course walking to work too!:p I did some T-Tapp this morning and hope to do more tonight. I also need to mow the lawn one last time but I don't really want to!!

Well, the election is over. I am just glad to not be getting any more annoying phone calls! ;)

Hope all is well in your world!

Susan

Hello Everyone,

Sounds like you have all been busy. We have been doing lots of raking too, and finding dog poop among our leaves. Yuck!! We don't own a dog. We had a very busy weekend shopping. We decided to get a Playstation 3 instead of a blueray dvd player since it was the same cost. Then we also got a reciever-I actually have a radio I can listen to now. Well wonderful DH spend all weekend trying to make it work. He even took off on Monday to set it up. He couldn't make it work so I had no way to work out. Yesterday I tinkered with it and now it works fine. You can hear dvd's and see a picture on the tv. Woo Hoo I can workout again. I think I am giving up p90x since I have only done parts of it each week. I am going to start a different rotation I think. We will see. I hope everyone has a great day. Sorry to be only here every once and awhile. I am finding it hard to get to the computer.

Morning BB's,

Todays workout was Interval X+. Guess you can tell that I never got this one done yesterday. LOL! :D

I will be stopping by the health club tonight to sign DD and I up membership. It is a very nice facility, and not to far from where we live. Most everyone was on the cardio equipment, and only men where on the weights. I think this will be fun having my DD there to work out with. LOL!

Susan, I am also glad the election is over with. While going home yesterday, I noticed that the leaves where all over everyones yard. It almost seemed as if they just dropped all at once. LOL!

Dani, Don't worry about checking in with us. So you had to much Tony for a while hey! LOL! Glad you are now able to view your workouts. :D

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hello Everyone,

I did KPC today for the first time and loved it. Oh and I am going to feel it tomorrow. Maybe this is what I needed to get me back into it again. Ever since being sick I have had a hard time getting back into a routine again. I should be on my 3 week of my 2nd phase with Tony. I don't want to do phase 2 forever.:D I think I will bring Cathe back into my life again. I missed her and I missed the intensity. I get good workouts with Core syn. and cardio x but it is just not the same kind of cardio as Cathe. Thanks for listening to me whine.

Laurie I hope you have fun with your dd. I wish my parents were more active in my life at that age. I can't imagine going to a gym with my Dad.

I hope everyone has a goodnight!!

Wow, this is a good week for me in that I´ve been able to post at least twice :).

I know what you all mean about the leaves. After raking and raking and raking this weekend I came home today to see ALL the leaves off the trees. so i guess one more weekend and I´ll be done :D

Today I did a swim using an itrain from Natalie coughlin. I bought a device that I can put my ipod in and swim with it. Very cool!

Laurie, what are your "required" features in a club? And yes, it is really nice that you and DD can share time together like that! Enjoy!

Dani, don´t worry about not posting much, I feel like I am the not posting queen! Sounds like the playstation was a good purchase. I just got a 5 disc DVD player and am messing around with it. Hate to buy stuff like that when blue ray will be what I´ll want next :)

Have a good day tomorrow, ladies!

Morning BB's,

Todays workout was 5 miles of speedwork, but don't think I will be getting in the sh & arms plus ab because of the x country banquet tonight. Oh well! :)

Dani, KPC is on of my favorite workouts, glad you had fun with it. You are at the point in P90X that all of us had in our first round. Everyone that I know that has done P90X started to incorporate other instructors into there routine. It is very hard to keep doing Kenpo / PlyoX etc over and over. It really does help you get through the rotation to include other workouts.

Lala, DD15 had two requirements in a gym. She wanted an indoor running track, and a lap pool. There where many places that had both or just one of the features, and then of course I had to look at the distance from our house. For me it had to be only about 10 min. away from our house, and maybe I would have to pay a little more, but the cost of gas and time makes up for that. Ok you have to let me know what device you have, because DD was interested in those i-trains, but we didn't want to have to buy a special I-pod to use them. ;) Hope all those leaves get off your trees so you can stop raking them up!

Hello to Karen, Sue and Susan!

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hello!

Today was a walk and T-Tapp followed by ab work. I have to take DS to Tae Kwon Do tonight then hope to just read!

Lala, that device sounds interesting!

Laurie, I always wished there was a health club close to us but unfortunatley being a small town, the nearest one is about 20mn!:( I hope you and the family enjoy it!

I love KPC, Dani! One of my faves!

Hi Sue!
Hi Karen!

HI! today was GS chest and tris and then this aft I did a 2.5 mi. run (which probably reall is more defined as a jog!).

Laurie, the device I have is the H2O Audio. It is the one that itrain advertises on its website for the iswim. Here's the website>
http://h2oaudio.com/natalie.php
I actually didn't buy mine from there, I was able to do a search and find it a little cheaper. It uses the ipod shuffle, so if DD has one of the newer ones with the screen and everything, this won't do the trick. But with the shuffle, it is great. Hope you guys can find just the perfect gym!

Susan, as soon as I have a minute, (like probably right now!) I am going to youtube ttapp and see what has you so sore;)

Hi to Karen, Sue and Dani. Tomorrow is FRIDAY:D

Morning BB's,

Todays workout was Criss Cross Cardio, and I have to say it was lots of fun. Loved the combos in this one. Could tell I had not done it in a long time, because it took me a while to pick the combos up. LOL!

Susan, Did you get a chance to read some last night. I read a couple of chapters in a book that DD has to read for her language arts class. It is called In Thin Air, and I was quite surprised at what I read. It was a climbing expidition, and they where talking about one guy smoking weed, and being a ladies man! And of course the fact that the last chapter I read involved intestinal difficulties! LOL! I'm never going to be climbing Mount Everest!

Lala, Thanks for the information. I think those I-train swimming ones will be good for her to take to the pool for a workout.

Laurie

Hello and Happy Friday!

Laurie, yes I did get to read for about 90mn last night. Reading a Sue Grafton book.

Today I walked for 45mn and did T-Tapp for 50mn. On Monday my program has me starting to do T-Tapp only 3-4 days a week so I can incorporate other workouts in. I am looking forward to that! I have 2 T-Tapp workouts coming in the mail and I hope they arrive tomorrow!

Quiet weekend ahead. I need to rearrange my DD's bedroom and organize the basement shelves... FUN FUN!

Susan:D

Today was Step Works. Tomorrow a run. Just bought some new "cold weather" workout clothes (Nike is having a sale :D) and want to try them out. funny how wearing new w/o clothes can encourage me:)

Susan, I finally watched a TTapp clip. Looks interesting. So when you are doing, say the biceps, are you using weights or no?
Have a good weekend!
