BUFF BADGERS 10/5-10/9

Morning Ladies,

Today I finished up Disc 12 Legs, and will be in my recovery week before I get into Meso 2. I couldn't believe how fast that four weeks went. No dread factor for me at all with all the Meso 1 workouts. :D

Karen, I wore my winter coat yesterday, and was very comfortable. ;) How did you do with waiting for the soccer game to get done? I'm planning on doing some Kristin McGee and Eion yoga for next week. They both have workouts that are about an hour long.

Susan, Keep trying to get yourself and DS better, it sure sounds like you both got one bad cold/flu. :( My youngest DD came in last for her team, but she did a great job sprinting the last few yards. Made me very proud to watch her. :)

Sue, Looks like you may need to use those winter weather items you bought for this weekend to. I think you said you had some competitions for the next two weekends. :D I'm hoping the next two weekends are better, because oldest has conference and sectional meets to get through. :D

Lala, Dizzy!! Not good, but then you knew not to do anything else. ;) Glad all the stress is over with, because we miss you. :D I have to start wondering why I was so reluctant to do this STS rotation. Maybe my brain wasn't ready to process this. Hope these next two cycles are just as fun. :D

Today I did plyo leg STS disk 35. Love those STS plyo leg workouts. Didn't do anything else because my kids have been home for the last two days due to inservice days.

Laurie, I think you will like all the mesos. Cathe does a great job of making them fun. I don't dread them at all and I have gone through meso 1 and 2 twice now. Still may do 3 after a recovery week. Nice job finishing meso 1.

Susan, hope everyone starts feeling better soon. Are you going to the Dr. to see if it is the flu? Last game was cold but DS played well and he got to actually play most of the game. They lost but it was fun to watch. Glad it's over though.

Lala, glad you are done with the planning of the trip. Sit back and relax. Did you run in the cold? Thanks for the ideas on Spanish. I will use the site you gave the link to. I think he might actually like it. Good thing soccer is over or he would have been suspended from the team with the grade in Spanish.

Sue, dress warm for the band competitions. Burr! Hope you get your workouts in at nights and get some extra sleep in the morning. Are you following any rotation right now?

Hey there. Dr. said I have a bad case of bronchitis and Mike has the basic flu. She gave me some drugs and hopes I feel better in a few days... I want to get back to exercising!!!!!!!!:mad:
 
Home early today...DD17 had her wisdom teeth out and DH had to go in for a meeting, so I came home to be with her...while she sleeps :)

This a.m. I did HST. Guess I´ll do some mowing today/tomorrow.

Susan, get well :) I know how it is to want to get back to exercise, though. Don´t overdo it!

Karen, I love those plyo legs, too. Don´t feel bad that that´s *all* you do!!:eek:

Laurie, enjoy the CC competitions! Just got a new coat from Lands' End. I have to laugh when I look at down coats that say "warmest" is 0-30 degrees :D I got one that is tested from -20 - 30! That's what I call warm!
