BUFF BADGERS 10/11-10/15

Morning Ladies,

Yoga for me today, so I did PY4H Daily Doss of Bliss. Forgot to set my alarm clock this morning, so I woke up a half hour later. This is a 41 min. workout, so was doable this morning. Didn't do my ab workout last night, I stayed at work later to make up for the time I was late. :rolleyes: Still going to do that Jackie Warner ab workout tonight.

Sue, Any workout that can get us sweating crazily is a wonderful workout. :eek: We have told DD17 the same thing, she has seen first hand how cell phone drivers are. I sometimes wonder if my mini van is invisable at times! :rolleyes: I have the same problem with the kids and eating healthy, sometimes the food you make is a dud for them. Hope your Wednesday wasn't to bad.

Karen, Yes I have done the Power Circuit workout, and it is actually a good workout. My one complaint about it is that sometimes it feels a little rushed. If you have your weights ready it isn't to bad.

Susan, Glad the kids didn't need their private tutor. It has gotten to the point that DH and I have a really hard time helping the youngest one. They teach them how to solve the problems differently in math than we where taught. The youngest is spending extra time with the teacher so she can help her. I'm glad because I don't want to confuse her.

Lala, Oh that lady on bodyrock has some great workouts, but dang! They had a thread on vf about her previous profession. :rolleyes: So yes playboy is probably tame compared to what she used to do. :eek: You can't knock her for not being able to come up with some tough workouts though.

Today I did Cardio Fusion. Didn't have much energy today, really wanted to stop in the middle.

Susan, you don't think 2 miles is enough you are doing elliptical too.:eek: You go!! I was going to run today but it was 39 when I would have had to go out. To cold for this girl.

Laurie, I need to try to get in yoga at least once a week like you do. I know it would be good for me. I used to Body rock a lot but haven't done it in awhile.

Lala, nice job on 40/20. Did you enjoy the concert?

This morning was a premix of Butts and Gutts. I am totally exhausted from the grocery shopping and cleaning I had to do this evening. There is no school tomorrow and my oldest has 4 friends coming over to play games and hang out all day. The first one arrives by 5AM. The original plan was drop off at 6. I arranged it so parents can drop off on their way to work and pick up on their way home. One of the kids mom's schedule change so she asked if he could come earlier. I told her not to worry about it because I am used to being up for my CATHE workout!!!!!! My 12 year old is sooooo looking forward to this.

Anyway, I better head off to bed to get some rest. I doubt there will be a workout tomorrow.
 
Morning Ladies,

Insanity Fast & Furious for me this morning, along with Cardio Abs. F&F is a great workout done in only 20 min. Since I had so much time afterwards I followed it up with Cardio Abs. That combination really works great. He had some new, and some familiar moves. Shaun had to take breaks during the workout, so I didn't feel so bad about the ones I took. :eek: At one point everyone was catching there breath, even me. Shaun said someone start working! So I was working with the girl, can't remember her name right now. Last night I did get in Jackie Warners Power Circuit Abs!:rolleyes: Really I didn't need to do Cardio Abs this morning, but hey I had the time.

Karen, Hey you got moving so that is better than nothing. Hope you have an energy boost today. I'm sure that it is from having a busy schedule. How are the boys doing in their sports?

heartymax, Oh you will be having a great time today, it sure sounds like a wonderful way to spend a day off from school.

Today I did 30 min fitness muscle definition both segments and her extended stretch from her Bootcamp dvd and 10 min solution boot camp ab segment with Jessica.

Laurie, where did you get fast and furious, I thought it came if you ordered Insanity a while ago? Nice workout today. All the boys sports are done until Mon. when DS12 starts basketball.

Hello! Today is a "rest" day for me. I walked Ruby and will probably do some pilates later. Saturday I have a 4 mile run to do and Sunday... maybe Turbo Jam.

My weekend is quiet. DH is going up to the cabin with the in-laws to close it up. DS has a birthday party to go to. DD has a paper she must finish for history class. I have to finish the book I am reading cause it's over due at the library!!:eek:

Laurie---Fast and Furious sounds scary----a 20 minute exhausting workout----I guess it has the perfect name..LOL!

Susan---today was my rest day too. I didn't want it to be as I took a rest day on Monday. I just knew after being up late and having the boys over today that I was not going to be able to get a workout in today. I actually have DOMS from Butts and Gutts yesterday anyway...
