Cynthia-LOL @ your post from last night. Those poor AZ natives are cold in the 50s huh? It reached almost 50 here and we were saying how nice and warm it was! Re; Jari Love-I only have one workout from her called Ripped. It's total body. When you say you did lower body and abs, is that a diff. dvd or are there premixes? I didn't even look at it.

I ended up doing Karen Voight's Ultimate Step Circuit last night. I really like that workout. Not sure what's on tap for me on this busy work day. My AR dvds didn't come again yesterday! I was disappointed. They'd better come today!! I need them to get some treadmill/elliptical time in.

If anyone gets the Waukesha section of the paper, check out the article about the chiropractor on the bottom of page one. I redid all those tax returns! His lawyer is our client and hired us to do "forensic accounting" which basically meant redoing the returns witout the fake losses originally on the returns. The lawyer made it sound like the guy was duped, but the article portrays him in a different light. Very interesting to be involved with this. I'm just glad they didn't mention our firm's name! I don't want to be associated with a big cheater! LOL

Hello Jill and those yet to post!:) For the January rotation today I did Step Jump and Pump. I'll be doing more abs when I get home from work... Have to drive down to Chicago in the morning. I see there's snow heading there tonight grrrr:(

So glad it's Friday! I think that after work I'm going to either do PLB and a premix of PUB or a combination of Step Blast and KPC, which I did recently and enjoyed. I can't decide yet. This weekend will be more running.

Hi BBs,

Still following the Legs & Glutes rotation. Last night was PUB and it called for a 20 minute run. That will never happen. I put in the IMAX3 DVD and did the "interval blasts only" premix. I got to number 9 and then pooped out. The next w/o is PLB and then 200 walking lunges. Gulp! :eek: I've never attempted the walking lunges, but after PLB I'm thinking it's going to be jelly legs time.

I have a quesion for you BBs. Which endurance style w/o of Cathe's do you like better? Muscle Endurance or Power Hour? I'm going to make a DVD order in February and I'm trying to choose.

Jill - Wow, forensic accounting - sounds pretty sexy!! :D Can we title your life "CSI: Waukesha"? I bow down to you at dealing with numbers and taxes! I like Karen Voight workouts, haven't done one in forever but man, is she solid! So streamlined!

Susan- Glad you had a nice birthday. Hope you don't get in any travel trouble with snow.

Had my teeth cleaned this morning, I just love how they feel after.

Workout for today is Bootcamp plus KM Inensity Drills. Tomorrow will be GS Legs plus 3 mile run, and Sunday will be all of the GS Upper Body workouts! Whew! }( Then I am done with this rotation!!!

Susan, didn't get a chance yesterday to say Happy Birthday! So this is belated.

Jill, I will look at JS online to see if they have the article. I don't get the daily, only the Sunday.

Only thing on tap for us this weekend is a swim meet on Saturday morning, and of course cleaning up the house. x(

Hi, everyone!

I'm so excited because my Turbo Jam Cardio Party 1 finally came yesterday! :) I previewed it last night and couldn't help myself from getting up and trying some of the moves. One word to describe this workout - FUN! We'll see what my HR monitor says for calorie burn. It might not be up there for calorie burn like KPC but it's definitely a workout I'll look forward to doing.

My adductors are sore this morning (maybe from not stretching after jumping around to CP1?) so I decided to do the GS upper body workouts today and GS Legs + 3 mile run on Saturday. I did GS-CT already so in a little bit I'll do the other.

Jill - We don't get the daily paper.

Sarah - LOL at Waukesha: CSI! I like ME better than Power Hour. The music is better and a few different moves like glute lifts. A lot of leg presses in ME so you need a high step (or Rubbermaid box like I used to use). The ME dvd also contains Boot Camp but the PH dvd contains MIS and Bodymax for only $5 more. You get more bang for your buck from the PH/MIS/BM dvd but these are older workouts. Still classics but older. Am I any help? It would be interesting to hear others weigh in on this.

It just started snowing outside. Finally starting to look like January! I like a little bit of snow but want it all gone in March! LOL

Hi guys! The article will be available online tomorrow. It's always a day behind. That way you'll actually buy the paper. LOL

I got 45 minutes of cardio in today. I alternated every 5 minutes between elliptical and treadmill. Love doing that! I watched episode one of Amazing Race and really liked it. It's motivation for the extra cardio I really need to do to start really blasting some fat!

Sarah - I haven't done ME as often but like Power Hour. ME would have the pre-mix options though. Cathe has clips of these and you might want to take a look at those to see which one you think you would like. Probably can't go wrong with either.


No workout this morning. :( I had to do fasting labs. Ther is one blood test they do that I am not supposed to exercise for 24 hrs before but can never remember which one so why take a chance.

Not happy about the snow and the rising total prediction. I want to go to my spin class tomorrow morning. :( I can always do a workout at home instead but wanted to go to my class.

Marie - Thank you. Power Hour seems to be a favorite. I like how it comes with MIS and Body Max, too. That's pretty suh-weet. I have my shopping cart filled with some goodies - can't wait to get paid in February! :) I hope your lab results are OK!

It's not snowing here in Oshkosh yet . . . but we'll see what we wake up to.

Happy Friday everyone!

It is snowing here like crazy right now (Watertown). It looks like we have an inch so far. I hope we get a little more to cover all the brown outside!

I did Steaming Cardio last night (WHFN video) and really liked it. The cueing could have been better, but I figured it out ok. I am down 2 pounds so far since I started these videos (about 2 1/2 weeks ago), so I am happy with my progress, although it could have been more!

Jill - I will check it out the paper online tomorrow!

Hi Everyone!

Jill, I am talking about Ripped. You can jump from exercise to exercise in that one. There aren't any premixes. I like it but not crazy about it. I found this one kinda boring. I wish she had more of a variety. But it's good when I want a quick upper or lower body workout.

Hope you don't get too much snow, but it's always nice to cover up the brown.

I may take tonight off from exercise, but I plan to get Get Ready, Step, Go in for sure this weekend with some weight work. I haven't done a Cathe vid for so long, I may have to get in BC or Imax3.

Hope you don't have too much shovelling.
