I bought the VHS of this collection and loved it so much that I bought it again on DVD. These workouts are tough. The first workout Sweat, which is supposed to be for beginners, is just as tough as the other two, but I find Bryan to be very motivating and encouraging, plus he's easy on the eyes! I also like the way these workouts were produced, more like a film than a video, and the music is motivating. I give these workouts a 9 out of possible 10. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Hi Jes,

You won't be disappointed. I've had it on VHS for awhile now, but recently converted to DVD. I couldn't beat that price either. I'll have to admit since I found Cathe that his practice hasn't been a part of my routine. I really mean to do it once a week, but it's easier to reach for Stretch Max for 20 minutes opposed to 50+ minutes. When I was doing Bryan Kest weekly I was doing the first two practices the most.

Namaste.;-)

Jes,
I love Bryan and in fact I have been to 2 of his workshops. My favorite is the series of 3 that is Sweat,Tone and Energize. You really get a great workout and there is a lot of upper and lower body strength gains. I can't say enough great things about him. He is also really easy on the eyes and he has a very sexy and soothing voice. Let us know what you think.

Hey Jes...I always have to jump in on these posts with my support when I see Bryan's name mentioned, LOL! I agree with the other ladies...these are 3 great power yoga workouts and they're tough!! I've had this for a while and just did "Sweat" the other day for the first time...definitely the hardest of the 3 and they're all hard! lol...He's got his long "mane" in these too (he's cut it since then) and, ahem, as the others have said, he's nice to look at. :) Enjoy! :)

P.S. There's a new "Rome" on tonight...yay! :)

I use this DVD all the time. I like the sequencing, that each practice is under 60 min and that he holds a lot of the poses for a long time. It's also filmed beautifully.

I'm not a big fan of his personality, though. I think his tone is too aggressive ("Now soften your face and breathe!" he yells). Also, the participants are EXTREMELY flexible and can be intimidating at first if you compare yourself to them. I don't know how much yoga experience you have, but if you don't have much or aren't very flexible, be careful not to try to go as deep into the poses as they do or you can really injure yourself.

I wish the DVD were chaptered better, but for $13.00 for 3 workouts, I really shouldn't complain.
